I was sitting in the chair in the corner of my room, watching the TV when my stepsister strolled in. She was wearing I think to myself. I move my gaze to the right and see my bedroom door. "Finally" I think as I close my eyes and inhale deeply. "My own bed.Her dark hair was up at the beginning of the day, but by mid-afternoon it was flopping around her shoulders. She had on no makeup and looked like she had rolled out of bed. Her eyes were bloodshot from all the crying she had been doing since Dad left.
