The sound of heavy machinery and the smell of fresh paint and cement wafted through the air like a gentle breeze on a hot day. I squinted up at the sun-kissed face of the man in front of me. He had a gap-toothed smile that stretched from ear to ear and twinkled mischievously in his hazel eyes.He was wearing a hard hat and long sleeves, and his jeans were rolled up a little bit, exposing his forearms. He had a big, trimmed-up' build, and every muscle in his forearms and biceps were bulging through his sleeves. It was the first thing I noticed about him, and it made my stomach ripple with want.
