I didn't know what to expect when I moved into my new room in the freshman dorms. I knew it was going to be a freshman experience," but I didn't know exactly what that meant. As it turned out, it meant exactly what I thought it meant.

The first night was rough.I'd been on my own for the past two years, so the idea of sharing a room and a bed with someone was a little daunting. Plus it was the first night of college, which meant I was going to have to get used to a lot of new things, like roommates for one. But my parents and I had talked about this for months, so I was prepared.
