A beautiful queen sat in a magnificent chair, her long legs stretched out before her, and her arms resting on her lap. Her golden hair flung around her, shining in the sunlight that poured in through a window high above the throne room.The gold and silver coins on the floor sparkled like the stars in the sky. The red velvet curtains fluttered like the wings of a bird, Tis the season to be jolly, she thought as she gazed at the twinkling lights. It was the first day of the New Year, and she was surrounded by friends and family she hadn't seen in months.The royal delegation had traveled from all corners of the kingdom to be here today.
