The sound of heavy footsteps and the rustle of clothing filled the air. The figure of a young woman, clad in a dark cloak, Hurry," a voice urged from behind. "They're coming for you."
I glanced back to see who the figure was referring to.It was Maki Zenin, my girlfriend. She was running towards me, her fists flying.
"Run, run, run!" she yelled as she careened through the snow. "Don't stop! I'll catch you!"
My heart skipped a beat as I watched her, wishing I could run faster. But I couldn't. My body suddenly shivered and my chest is warmer than before.
