The heavy door to the corridor opened with a creak, and a tall, broad shouldered man stepped into the room. He was dressed in robes, as all professors were when they taught at the school of magic, but his was the only face that didn't fit into the mold.His jaw was too pointy, his ears were too big, and his eyes were too dark. Professor Snape stepped out of his classroom, only to be met with a ginger-haired young witch, whom he knew was introduced to the faculty as that year's new DADA teacher."Visiting family?"
"No, I'm here for the Defence Against the Dark Arts teaching position. I've heard great things about you, Professor Snape. My name is Dynis Arden, but you already knew that, don't you?"Professor Snape looked down at her, his eyes lingering on her tousled red hair, before he nodded at her statement. "Indeed, I do know your name, Miss Arden. Welcome to the staff, I hope you find everything to your liking."She smiled, happy that her charm worked, even if the man didn’t know her yet.
