Terms of Service

Last updated: August 13, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and DREAMPRESS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales with its registered office at 29 Waterloo Road, Wolverhampton, England WV1 4DJ, United Kingdom ("DreamPress AI", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your use of the DreamPress AI websites, applications, and services (the "Service"). The Content Policy, Copyright & DMCA policy, Subscription Management terms, Refund Policy, and Complaints Policy on this page, together with our Content Monitoring Policy, our 18 U.S.C. § 2257 Compliance Notice, and the Privacy Policy below, form part of these Terms and are incorporated by reference.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

The Service is strictly for adults. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. Where the law requires it, we may ask you to complete an age check before you can access some or all of the Service.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Information you provide to us must be accurate and kept up to date. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account. You may not create accounts by automated means, or create or maintain multiple accounts to accumulate free credits or to evade limits, suspensions, or bans. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts as described in Section 10.

3. The Service and AI-Generated Content

DreamPress AI lets you create stories, characters, chats, and images with the help of artificial intelligence. Please be aware that AI output is generated automatically from your inputs and the underlying models: it may be inaccurate, incomplete, distressing, offensive, or similar to content generated for other users, and it does not reflect our views or values. We do not endorse any content produced on the Service. You are solely responsible for the inputs you provide, for reviewing the outputs you generate, and for how you use them. You must not use the Service to generate content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, or otherwise harmful, or that infringes the rights of others. We may add, change, or remove features of the Service at any time.

4. Credits, Pricing, and Changes

Some features of the Service consume credits. Credits are a limited, revocable licence to use features of the Service. Credits:

We may change credit prices, which features require credits and how many, credit allowances (including free, daily, bonus, and subscription-included credits), subscription prices and benefits, and any other aspect of our pricing or the features available at any tier, at any time, without notice, effective immediately. Free, daily, and bonus credits are promotional, may expire, and may be modified or withdrawn at any time.

5. Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled, as described in the Subscription Management section below. Subscription benefits (such as included credits and included usage) are defined by us and may change as set out in Section 4. Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy below and by applicable consumer law.

6. Fair Use Policy

Free allowances and subscription-included usage are provided for reasonable, personal, human use of the Service. To keep the Service fast and affordable for everyone, all usage — including subscription-included benefits — is subject to fair-use limits that we set and may adjust at any time without notice. We may throttle, queue, or decline requests, and may suspend or terminate accounts, where usage indicates abuse, including for example:

7. Your Content and Licences

You retain ownership of the original content you create and submit to the Service. You grant DREAMPRESS LTD a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, display, and distribute your content for the purposes of operating, promoting, and improving the Service, including using content generated on the platform to train and improve our models. By publishing or sharing content on DreamPress AI, you also grant other users the right to remix, modify, and build upon it — they may change your story, or use parts, characters, and other information from it, and publish their versions. You are responsible for ensuring that you have all necessary rights to everything you submit, and that your content complies with these Terms, the Content Policy, and applicable law.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You must not: (a) violate the Content Policy; (b) infringe anyone's intellectual property or other rights; (c) attempt to bypass, probe, or disable moderation, rate limits, age checks, or any other security or technical measure; (d) reverse engineer, scrape, or harvest data from the Service; (e) use the Service or its outputs to develop competing AI models or services; or (f) use the Service in violation of any applicable law.

We respect intellectual property rights and expect our users to do the same. We will comply with legitimate requests from law enforcement agencies and valid legal orders. Our copyright takedown procedure, counter-notification procedure, and repeat-infringer policy are set out in the Copyright & DMCA section below.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms (including the Content Policy or the Fair Use Policy), where required by law, or to protect the Service or its users. On termination for a violation, any remaining credits (including purchased credits) are forfeited without refund. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Sections which by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7, 11, 12, and 13) survive.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. Content on the Service — whether created by users or generated by AI — does not reflect our views, and we do not guarantee its accuracy, appropriateness, or quality. Nothing in these Terms affects statutory rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded or limited.

12. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales. Subject to that, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of data, or emotional distress arising from your use of the Service, and our total aggregate liability to you in connection with the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose and (b) £100.

13. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify DREAMPRESS LTD against claims, damages, and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms and any of our policies at any time. Changes are effective when posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date will be revised. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute — except that, if you are a consumer, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections, and any right to bring proceedings, under the laws of the country where you live.

16. General

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary (or severed), and the remainder will continue in full force. These Terms, together with the policies they incorporate, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. 1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

Personal information you disclose to us

In Short: We collect personal information that you provide to us.

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Services, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise when you contact us.

Personal Information Provided by You. The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the Services, the choices you make, and the products and features you use. The personal information we collect may include the following:

Sensitive Information. When necessary, with your consent or as otherwise permitted by applicable law, we process the following categories of sensitive information:

Age Assurance (UK). Where UK law requires us to confirm that you are an adult, we ask you to complete a facial age-estimation check using your device's camera. This check runs entirely on your device: your camera feed is processed locally in your browser, is never uploaded to us or to any third party, and no photos or video are stored. No biometric data leaves your device, and we do not receive or retain your estimated age. The only information we record is whether an age check was passed, when it was passed, and the method used (an on-device camera estimate, an age check carried over from a previous version of DreamPress, or a manual review by our support team). If you cannot or prefer not to complete the camera check, you can contact us at hi@dreampress.ai and we will arrange a manual review. We provide this check to comply with the UK Online Safety Act 2023.

Payment Data. If you make purchases, the data necessary to process your payment — such as your payment card number and the security code associated with it — is collected and processed directly by our payment processors: TrustPay (Finby) for purchases made on the web, and Apple for purchases made through our iOS app. We do not store your full card number; we retain only transaction references and billing records needed to manage your purchases and subscriptions.

Application Data. If you use our application(s), we also may collect the following information if you choose to provide us with access or permission:

Mobile Device Access. We may request access or permission to certain features from your mobile device, including your mobile device's camera (for example, for avatar uploads or, where required, an on-device age check) and photo library. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device's settings.

Mobile Device Data. We automatically collect device information (such as your mobile device ID, model, and manufacturer), operating system, version information and system configuration information, device and application identification numbers, browser type and version, hardware model Internet service provider and/or mobile carrier, and Internet Protocol (IP) address (or proxy server). If you are using our application(s), we may also collect information about the phone network associated with your mobile device, your mobile device’s operating system or platform, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device’s unique device ID, and information about the features of our application(s) you accessed.

Push Notifications. We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or certain features of the application(s). If you wish to opt out from receiving these types of communications, you may turn them off in your device's settings.

This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our application(s), for troubleshooting, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.

Information automatically collected

In Short: Some information — such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address and/or browser and device characteristics — is collected automatically when you visit our Services.

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Services, and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

To save or protect an individual's vital interest. We may process your information when necessary to save or protect an individual’s vital interest, such as to prevent harm.

In Short: We only process your personal information when we believe it is necessary and we have a valid legal reason (i.e. legal basis) to do so under applicable law, like with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services to enter into or fulfil our contractual obligations, to protect your rights, or to fulfil our legitimate business interests.

If you are located in the EU or UK, this section applies to you.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR require us to explain the valid legal bases we rely on in order to process your personal information. As such, we may rely on the following legal bases to process your personal information:

If you are located in Canada, this section applies to you.

We may process your information if you have given us specific permission (i.e. express consent) to use your personal information for a specific purpose, or in situations where your permission can be inferred (i.e. implied consent). You can withdraw your consent at any time.

5. DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?

In Short: We may use cookies and other tracking technologies to collect and store your information.

We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (like local storage and pixels) to access or store information. We use essential cookies and similar technologies to operate the Services — for example, to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We use Mixpanel (with data hosted in the EU) for essential product analytics needed to operate and improve the Services. Only with your consent, we use Google Analytics, and the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms) to measure and improve the performance of our advertising; you can give or withdraw this consent through the consent banner shown when you first use the Services, or by contacting us. We may also use mobile attribution tools (such as AppsFlyer) to measure the performance of our advertising.

6. IS YOUR INFORMATION TRANSFERRED INTERNATIONALLY?

In Short: We may transfer, store, and process your information in countries other than your own.

Our servers are located in the United States. If you are accessing our Services from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed by us in our facilities and by those third parties with whom we may share your personal information (see 'WHEN AND WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?' above), in the United States, and other countries.

If you are a resident in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom (UK), then these countries may not necessarily have data protection laws or other similar laws as comprehensive as those in your country. We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). No purpose in this notice will require us keeping your personal information for longer than the period of time in which users have an account with us.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymise such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

8. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?

In Short: We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organisational and technical security measures.

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organisational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorised third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent’s use of the Services. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. If you become aware of any data we may have collected from children under age 18, please contact us at hi@dreampress.ai.

10. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?

In Short: In some regions, such as the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom (UK), and Canada, you have rights that allow you greater access to and control over your personal information. You may review, change, or terminate your account at any time.

In some regions (like the EEA, UK, and Canada), you have certain rights under applicable data protection laws. These may include the right (i) to request access and obtain a copy of your personal information, (ii) to request rectification or erasure; (iii) to restrict the processing of your personal information; and (iv) if applicable, to data portability. In certain circumstances, you may also have the right to object to the processing of your personal information.
