Chapter 1: The Reality Check
The air in the lounge tasted sterile, like filtered water and lemony disinfectant. Kathryn smoothed her hands over the silk of her robe, the fabric cool and unfamiliar against her skin. It was too short, really. It barely covered her thighs when she sat, and the deep crimson felt like a costume. The couch beneath her was sleek, modern leather, uncomfortably firm, and across from her, a large monitor showed a muted, looping test pattern.
“First-timer nerves are totally normal.” The voice was light, amused. Serena—Star, she corrected herself—curled one bare leg beneath her on the adjacent couch. Her own robe was black, hanging open with a careless negligence that revealed the swell of her breasts and the flat plane of her stomach. She was eating yogurt with a tiny spoon. “It’s just a job. A really, really fun job, but a job.”
Kathryn tried to summon her courtroom smile, the one that conveyed unshakable competence. It felt stiff on her face. “It doesn’t feel like reviewing depositions.”
Serena laughed, a bright, genuine sound. “Thank fuck for that. Look, the paperwork you signed is standard. You control your limits before. You say what you’re okay with, what you’re not. Cathy’s good about that. But once she calls ‘action’…” Serena pointed her spoon at Kathryn. “The machine turns on. You perform. You hit your marks. You take the direction. There’s no ‘time out’, no safeword once the clock’s running. The fantasy can’t have an emergency exit.”
The door swung open and Cathy Arnold walked in, a tablet in hand. She was a handsome woman in her fifties, with sharp grey eyes and a no-nonsense ponytail. She looked at Kathryn like she was assessing a piece of equipment, but her smile was warm. “Kathryn. You’re a vision. The robe’s perfect. Sells the ‘corporate lady gone wild’ vibe we’re after.” She perched on the edge of a chair, tapping her tablet. “Serena briefing you?”
“She was explaining the workflow,” Kathryn said, her voice surprisingly steady.
“Good. Let’s be crystal, then. The scene is ‘Executive Retreat’. You’re the last one in the hot tub after the conference. The guys are junior associates. You get flirty, one thing leads to another.” Cathy leaned forward. “The action is a gangbang. Four performers. Mike, Troy, Ben, Javier. All tested, all professionals. They’ll be rough. They’ll fuck you hard. The director in me needs that energy, that desperation. The woman in me needs you to know it’s going to be intense.”
Kathryn’s throat was dry. She nodded.
“The finish is creampies. Two per guy, edited to look like one each. It’s a long day. Your pussy will get used more than you thought possible. It will be puffy. It might feel raw. And by the end, you’ll be gaping and so full of cum you’ll be leaking for days.” Cathy said it all with a matter-of-fact calm, as if listing catering options. “The question is, can you handle that? Not just physically. Mentally. Can you let go of the lawyer, the wife, and just be a fuckhole for eight hours?”
The crude language shouldn’t have sent a jolt through her, but it did. It landed low in her belly, a dark, warm pulse. She thought of her husband, his kind, predictable touch. The safe, familiar rhythm of their sex life. This was a screaming guitar solo to that gentle lullaby.
Serena watched her, licking her spoon clean. “It’s a lot. But the trade-off… Cathy’s right. They’ll make you come harder than you ever have. It’s their job. It’s a point of pride for them. You’ll be wrecked in the best way.”
“What if I… can’t perform?” Kathryn heard the whisper of fear in her own question.
“You will,” Cathy said, not unkindly. “The environment, the pressure, the chemistry… it pulls it out of you. Your body knows things your brain has forgotten. We’re just reminding it.” She stood up. “The boys are in makeup. We shoot the lead-up in twenty. You want out, you walk now. No hard feelings. Once you’re on set, you’re mine.”
She left the room, the door sighing shut behind her.
The silence in the lounge thickened. Kathryn could hear the faint, thumping bass of music from a distant set.
Serena uncurled herself and moved to sit beside Kathryn. She smelled like coconut and baby powder. “You’re really going to do it, aren’t you?”
Kathryn looked at the monitor, the shifting bars of color. She saw a reflection of herself, a pale woman in a red robe, perched on the edge of a new world. For thirty years, she had followed every rule. Built a perfect, impeccable life. This was the antithesis of all of it. This was crude, messy, gloriously obscene. The yearning, a restless beast inside her she’d tried to ignore for years, uncoiled and roared.
It wasn’t about the men. It was about the surrender. The absolute loss of control within a meticulously controlled framework. It was the ultimate transgression.
She turned to Serena. The words felt heavy and final, a stone dropped into a still pond.
“Kathryn agrees.”
Serena’s playful grin softened into something resembling respect. “Okay then, counsellor. Let’s get you prepped.” She stood and offered a hand. “First, we lose the robe. Makeup needs to see the canvas. Then, we go make some magic.”
Kathryn stood, her legs steady. She untied the silk belt. The robe slid from her shoulders, a pool of crimson at her feet on the cold, polished floor. The sterile air touched her naked skin, raising goosebumps. She did not try to cover herself. She followed Serena, walking bare toward the blinding lights, the heat, and the waiting, hungry eyes.
