What started off as just sex was now threatening to completely derail two marriages. 49 year old, married mother of 2, Renee Johnston had been sleeping with her son 25 yr old son Flynn, off and on for years. But now, they simply could get enough of each other and were taking bigger and bigger risks to be together

Chapter 1: The Laundry Room Tryst

The fluorescent light buzzed and flickered, painting the laundry room in pulses of sickly yellow. Renee Johnston folded a towel with precise, automatic motions, the warm cotton a familiar anchor. The dryer churned beside her, a rhythmic thump-thump-thump against the silence of the house. It was Tuesday afternoon. Simon was at the office. Dee was at her book club. The mundane normality of it was a blanket she wore every day, a perfect, suffocating disguise.

The click of the door latch was soft, but she heard it. Felt it. A current went through her, immediate and liquid, right down to her core. She didn’t turn.

His smell reached her first—sawdust, sweat, and the specific, musky scent that was just Flynn. Then his heat, a solid wall at her back. His hands, large and rough from work, slid around her waist, not over her cashmere sweater but underneath it, skin to skin. His palms were hot against the flat of her stomach.

“Mom,” he breathed into her neck, his voice already ragged.

Her eyes closed. She pressed the towel to her chest, a useless shield. “Flynn. Not now. Dee will be back in twenty minutes.”

“Then we have nineteen.” His fingers hooked into the waistband of her yoga pants and her plain cotton panties, dragging them down in one rough, decisive pull. The cool air of the room hit her exposed skin, a sharp contrast to the fever of his hands. The folded towel tumbled from her grip.

He turned her, pressing her back against the vibrating metal of the dryer. The hum travelled up her spine. He was already unbuckled, his jeans shoved down just enough. He was huge, jutting thick and angry from his body, straining up toward his navel. Even after all this time, the sight of him caught the air in her throat. She loved Simon, loved her gentle husband, but his body was familiar territory. Flynn was a landscape of reckless hunger.

“Flynn, wait,” she whispered, but it was a reflex, the ghost of a morality long since incinerated. Her hands came up to his chest, not to push but to feel the hard plane of it through his t-shirt.

“I can’t,” he growled, and it was the truth. He hooked one of her legs over his arm, opening her up. He was not gentle. There was no tender prelude, not here, not with the clock screaming in their heads. He pressed the blunt, swollen head of himself against her, and she was slick, she always was for him, but he was so damned big.

He shoved forward.

A choked, guttural sound was torn from her throat. It was a stretch, a breathtaking, glorious burn as he filled her, inch by impossible inch, forcing her body to accept him. Her head fell back against the shuddering dryer with a dull thud. Her fingers clawed at his shoulders.

“Oh, God… Flynn…”

“Yeah,” he grunted, his hips snapping forward to bury himself to the hilt, his pelvis grinding against her. “Take it. Take all of it.”

He set a brutal, driving rhythm. Each thrust slammed her back into the metal, the thump of the machine’s rotation syncing with the slap of their flesh. The noise was obscene, wet and sharp in the sterile room. She bit down on her own lip to stifle her cries, but they leaked out as desperate, keening whimpers. She hated vulgarity, but what he was doing to her was vulgar. It was magnificent and degrading and she craved it like oxygen.

His face was buried in her neck, his breath scalding. “You’re so tight,” he rasped. “So fucking perfect. My perfect mom.”

The words, the terrible, beautiful words, coiled the tension in her belly tighter. Her nails dug into the back of his neck. Her other leg wrapped around him, heels locking at the small of his back, pulling him deeper, taking him even harder. The world narrowed to the smell of laundry soap and sex, the stutter of the light, the exquisite friction of him pistoning inside her. She was unspooling, pleasure fraying her edges into bright, white sparks.

“I’m gonna… I’m gonna come, baby,” he warned, his pace becoming frantic, erratic.

“Inside me,” she gasped, the command shocking her own ears. “Please, I need it. I need to feel it.”

With a raw, broken shout, he obeyed. He jammed himself deep and held, his whole body rigid. She felt the hot, pulsing release flood her, a visceral claim that made her own climax detonate. It crashed over her silently, a wave that locked her muscles and stole her vision, leaving only pure, shuddering sensation.

For a long moment, they stayed fused, breathing in jagged sync. The dryer clicked, its cycle ending, the sudden quiet roaring in her ears.

Slowly, he softened and slipped from her. He kept her propped against the machine, his forehead resting on hers. She became aware of the damp chill between her thighs, the ache in her muscles, the reality seeping back in.

With a tenderness that belied their frantic coupling, he lowered her leg. He reached for a clean hand towel from the basket, and with careful, almost reverential motions, he cleaned himself, then her. He pulled her panties and pants back up, his hands smoothing the fabric over her hips. He tucked himself away, fastened his jeans.

Renee reached for him, her fingers tracing his jaw. She guided his face to hers and kissed him, deep and slow, tasting herself and him. Then she sank to her knees on the linoleum.

He didn’t have to ask. He watched, his hazel eyes dark with spent passion and fresh awe, as she took him back into her mouth. He was still semi-hard, softening, slick with both of them. She worshipped him with her tongue, cleaning him with a devoted thoroughness, swallowing the last evidence of their sin. It was salty, bitter, and hers.

When she was finished, she rested her cheek against his thigh. He stroked her blonde hair.

“We can’t keep doing this here,” she said softly, but there was no conviction in it.

“We can. We will.” His thumb brushed her ear.

She looked up, meeting his gaze. The words had been burning a hole in her heart for months, years maybe. They tumbled out now, raw and terrifying. “I want to have a baby.”

His hand stilled in her hair. The only sound was the drip of a faucet.

“What?”

She climbed to her feet, her body feeling used and powerful all at once. She cupped his face, her maternal, nurturing instinct surfacing even in this abyss. “I know, my love. I know how it sounds. But I mean it. I want a child. Your child. Our child.”

He stared at her, his reckless charm gone, replaced by a dawning, staggering comprehension. This wasn’t just another risk, another frantic fuck. This was a line, bold and permanent, that once crossed, would unravel everything.

Outside, a car door slammed. Dee was home.

Renee jumped, her perfect hostess smile instinctively snapping into place even as the heat of him still coated her throat. She picked up the fallen towel, folded it once, perfectly.

Flynn just looked at her, his expression unreadable, the ghost of her impossible desire hanging in the detergent-scented air between them.

Then his face changed. The shock melted, replaced by that reckless, boyish hunger she could never deny. A slow smirk spread across his lips. “Yeah. Okay.”

Her heart stopped. “Okay?”

“Let’s make a baby.” He said it like he was agreeing to grab a pizza.

The sheer, terrifying finality of it made her legs tremble. She lunged for him, capturing his mouth with hers in a kiss that was all gratitude and desperation. He gripped her hair, pulling her head back to deepen it, his tongue claiming her all over again. She could taste their own mess, salty and intimate. It was a seal. A promise.

The sound of a car pulling into the gravel driveway crackled through the window.

They broke apart, eyes wide. Reality, with its clocks and schedules and other people, came crashing back in.

“Shit. Laundry,” she breathed, pushing against his chest.

He nodded, stepping back. He swiped his thumb over her smudged lipstick. “Tonight. The Bar room, after they’re all asleep.”

He unlocked the door, slipped out, and was gone. The hollow thud of the dryer door closing behind him echoed in the sudden quiet.

Renee’s hands flew to her hair, patting the blonde strands back into place. She straightened her cashmere sweater, tugged her yoga pants smooth. Her body felt fundamentally altered, buzzing and oversensitive. Between her thighs was a tender, liquid warmth. She snatched the hand towel he’d used, stained with their coupling, and shoved it deep into the hamper under a pile of dirty jeans. She grabbed a fresh dryer sheet, crumpled it in her fist, and held it under her nose, inhaling the synthetic lavender to mask the musky scent of sex that clung to her skin.

Out the small window over the sink, she saw Flynn. He was back at the riding mower, pulling the cord. The engine sputtered, then roared to life. He didn’t look back at the house. He just started cutting wide, methodical stripes into the green lawn, a picture of mundane duty.

“Hello? Anyone home?” Dee’s voice, bright and clear, floated from the front foyer. The click of her heels on the hardwood.

Renee took one last breath, pushed a serene smile onto her face, and emerged from the laundry room.

Dee was dropping her tote bag and keys on the hall table. She was 24 and absolutely beautiful, vibrant, with long blonde hair. “There you are! I thought the house was empty. Book club ran late. Margaret would not stop dissecting the protagonist’s motivations.” She glanced at Renee, her eyes kind, utterly unaware. “You okay, honey? You look a little flushed.”

“Just fighting with that old dryer,” Renee said, her voice remarkably steady. She walked forward and gave her friend a brief, light hug. The normalcy of the gesture was a cage. “It gets so hot in that little room. How was the discussion?”

“Oh, you know. Lots of wine, not much discussion.” Dee laughed, following Renee into the kitchen. “Where’s my hardworking nephew? I saw the mower going.”

“Finishing up the yard. He’s been a gem.” Renee opened the refrigerator, needing the cool air on her face. She pulled out ingredients for a salad, her movements automatic. “I thought I’d do lemon chicken and orzo for dinner. Simon should be home by six.”

“Perfect. I’ll set the table.” Dee moved to the cupboard, chatting about a new recipe she’d found.

Renee placed a chicken breast on the cutting board. She picked up the sharp chef’s knife. The steel glinted under the kitchen lights. As Dee’s chatter washed over her, Renee pressed the tip of the knife gently into the firm, pale flesh.

Tonight. The bar room, after they’re all asleep.

Her finger traced the faint silver line of her c-section scar, hidden beneath her clothes. The old wound. The promise of a new one. She began to cut, her slices clean and precise, each one a measured beat in the countdown to darkness.

The back door slammed. Boots stomped on the mat. Flynn.

Renee didn’t turn. She heard the faucet run in the mudroom sink, the splash of water, the rough scrubbing of his hands. Dee flitted past her, setting napkins on the table.

“Hey, you,” Dee said, her voice bright with wifely affection.

Renee forced herself to look. Flynn stood in the kitchen doorway, leaning against the frame. His t-shirt was damp with sweat, clinging to the lines of his chest and abdomen. A streak of dirt smudged his temple. He looked like work and heat and youth. He looked like hers.

He pushed off the frame and walked to Dee. He slid a hand around the back of her neck, possessive and casual, and bent to kiss her. It wasn’t a long kiss, but it was full on the mouth. Renee watched his lips move against her friend’s, saw Dee’s hand come up to rest on his sweaty chest. A casual, married kiss. It felt like a razor sliding between Renee’s ribs.

“Grass is done,” Flynn said, pulling back, his voice normal. “Smells good in here.”

“Your mom’s doing lemon chicken,” Dee said, smiling up at him. She kept her hand on him. “Hey, so, Elise gave me the card of a friend of hers who’s a real estate agent.” She began, once again raising her desire to get their own place. “Your mom and dad need their own space. We’ve been here almost a year.”

Flynn’s eyes flickered, just for a microsecond, to Renee. Then back to his wife. “Yeah? You got the card?”

“Right here.” Dee pulled a crisp white business card from her pocket. “I was thinking we could just call for a consultation. See what’s out there.”

“Ridiculous,” said Renee as she put the salad on the plate. Her tone was light, a perfect melody of maternal warmth. She turned, a bowl in each hand, her face a mask of gentle rebuke. “Chris and I love having you here. We were only talking the other day about renovating, giving you more space. The whole attic could be a proper suite. A little kitchenette, even.”

She set the plates down with a soft click. She smiled at Dee, then at Flynn, her gaze lingering on him with practiced innocence. “This house is too big for just two people. It’s meant for family. The sound of you two here… it brings it to life. I won’t hear of you leaving.”

Dee looked touched, but stubborn. “Renee, you’re the sweetest. But we can’t live in your attic forever. We’re adults. We need to plant our own roots.”

“And you will. When you’re ready.” Renee walked over and took Dee’s hands in hers. She could feel Flynn watching, a hot, silent pressure in the room. “But there’s no rush. The market is terrible. Stay here, save your money. Let us spoil you a little longer.” She gave a playful squeeze. “For me.”

Dee sighed, defeated by Renee’s impeccable kindness. “You’re impossible to argue with. Fine. But let’s at least look at the renovation ideas.”

“Of course, darling. Anything.” Renee released her and moved back to the stove, her heart hammering against her sternum. Crisis averted. For now.

The rest of the evening was a masterpiece of performance. Simon came home, pressing a dry kiss to Renee’s cheek, his mind still on a patent filing. They ate at the polished oak table. Renee laughed at Simon’s jokes, asked Dee thoughtful questions about book club, passed the roasted vegetables. Her foot did not seek Flynn’s under the table. Her eyes did not linger on the way his throat worked as he drank his beer. She was present, perfect, hollow.

She cleared the plates. She loaded the dishwasher. The card from the real estate agent sat on the counter by the fruit bowl, a little white flag of impending disaster.

Later, in the dark silence of the master bedroom, Simon snored softly beside her. Renee stared at the ceiling. The digital clock glowed 2:17 AM. The house was a tomb, save for the creak of its bones.

She slid out of bed, bare feet on cool hardwood. She didn’t put on a robe. She wore only her thin silk nightgown. It whispered against her thighs as she moved, ghost-like, through the familiar darkness. Past the closed door of the guest room where Dee slept. Alone. Flynn had claimed the basement rec room as his man-cave, his sanctuary. His den.

The stairs to the basement were carpeted. She made no sound. The door at the bottom was slightly ajar, a bar of weak, blue light from a computer monitor leaking out.

She pushed it open.

The room smelled of him—musky, male, with an undertone of weed. He was sitting on the edge of the worn leather sofa, playing a first-person shooter on the massive TV, the sound muted. He was shirtless, wearing only low-slung sweatpants. The light from the screen played over the defined planes of his back.

He didn’t turn. He knew it was her.

Renee closed the door. The click of the latch was deafening. She turned the lock.

He paused the game. The room plunged into near-darkness, lit only by the static console menu.

“You came,” he said, his voice a low rumble in the dark.

“You knew I would.”

He finally turned. His eyes were black pools. He looked at her, at the silhouette of her body through the sheer silk. “You want that baby?”

“More than anything.” The words were a breath.

He stood. He crossed the room in two strides. His hands weren’t gentle now. They were claiming. He grabbed the neckline of her nightgown and ripped. The delicate silk tore with a sick, satisfying sound, splitting cleanly down the front. She gasped, not in fear, but in liberation. The ruined fabric fell from her shoulders, puddled at her feet. She stood naked before him in the blue gloom.

“Then let’s make it.”

He backed her toward the heavy pool table. The green felt was cool and slightly rough against the backs of her thighs. He gripped her hips and lifted her, seating her on the edge. The colored balls trembled in their triangle.

He yanked his sweats down. He was already fully hard, that monstrous thickness springing free. He was bigger now than he’d been in the laundry room, swollen with intent. It was terrifying. It was everything.

“No pretending tonight,” he growled, spreading her knees wide. “You’re not my mom tonight. You’re just a woman who wants to be bred.”

The vulgarity should have shocked her. It ignited her. She nodded, frantic, her hair tumbling around her shoulders. “Yes. Breed me. Please, Flynn. I need it.”

He positioned himself, the broad head pressing against her entrance. He didn’t ask if she was ready. He just pushed.

The initial penetration was a brutal, stretching burn. She cried out, a sharp, guttural sound she muffled by biting her own fist. He kept pushing, inch by relentless inch, stuffing her impossibly full, until his balls were tight against her. She could feel every vein, every pulsing inch. She was achingly, painfully open.

“Fuck,” he hissed, his body trembling with the effort of holding still. “You’re taking it. You’re taking all of it for me.”

He began to move. This wasn’t the frantic pace of the dryer. This was deep, deliberate, punishing strokes. Each withdrawal was almost complete, each thrust a forceful, claiming reunion. The pool table rocked slightly with their rhythm, the balls clacking a soft, random accompaniment.

“This is how you get a baby,” he grunted, his hands clamping on her hips, digging in. “You take this dick. You take this fucking seed. You let it plant in you.”

“Yes!” she sobbed, her head thrown back. The pleasure was a sharp, coiling wire, tightening with every slam of his pelvis. Her own hands gripped the edge of the felt, tearing at it. “It’s yours. It’s all for you. Give it to me!”

His pace grew harder, faster. The slaps of flesh grew louder, wetter. She was so slick, a mess of her own desperate need. He leaned over her, capturing a nipple in his mouth, sucking hard, biting. The dual sensations—the deep, pounding fullness and the sharp pull at her breast—unraveled her.

“I’m coming,” she whimpered, her body seizing. “Oh, God, Flynn, I’m coming!”

Her orgasm ripped through her, violent and silent, a convulsion that clamped around him like a vise. He roared, a muffled sound against her skin, and drove in one last, brutal time. He held, deep, and she felt the hot, pulsing release flood her core. Jet after jet, a claiming. A potential.

He collapsed against her, spent, his weight pressing her into the table. They stayed like that, joined, breathing in ragged harmony. Slowly, he softened and slipped from her. A slow trickle of his release followed, warm on her inner thigh.

He lifted his head. In the blue light, his eyes were serious. He wiped a strand of hair from her damp forehead. “You really want this?”

She cupped his jaw, her thumb stroking his cheek. “It’s all I want. I calculated it. I’m ovulating. Right now.”

A slow, dark smile spread across his face. He leaned down and kissed her, softly this time. “Then we try again in the morning.”

“What all this morning talk, how about we do it again right now?
