Chapter 2: Set Up
Merak was getting concerned. He and Ombre, they both had their moments. Nice ones, scary ones, goofy ones, chaotic ones. Though, these recent ones have had Ombre come back with even more wounds. Hell, he even refuses help as well! Stating how, "It'll heal on its own!" or "I'm fine, brav!", is getting old, Merak thought to himself as he woke up the next morning. He glanced over at Ombre, who was still fast asleep, his wings twitching slightly in his dreams. Despite his rough exterior and constant need for adventure, Ombre was a light sleeper. Merak had to be careful not to wake him, or he'd be greeted with a barrage of questions and an energy level that could power a small city.
Merak slipped out of bed, careful not to rustle the sheets too much.
Ombre jumped, before turning his head frantically. He then jumped into the kitchen, wearing his normal outside clothes, "Good morning, brav!" Ombre cheerfully said, a bowl of cereal in his hand. He was already dressed in his signature yellow and green checkered shirt, shamrock jacket, and baggy black jeans. His wings were slightly ruffled, but otherwise, he looked like he was ready to take on the day. Or at least, he looked like he wanted Merak to think so.
Merak raised an eyebrow, "Morning, Ombre," he replied, walking over to the coffee maker. He could feel Ombre's eyes on him, watching his every move.
"Wow, how can you drink coffee?" Ombre asked, moving around like a fly, "I'm glad my blood is made of plasma that keeps me energized! That stuff is bitter!" Ombre wrinkled his nose, his star-pupiled eyes wide with distaste. "I'd rather lick a frog than drink that, brav."
Merak chuckled, pouring himself a cup of the steaming brew. "Well, everyone's got their vices, sweetheart," he said, taking a sip. "And coffee just happens to be mine."
Ombre stuck out his tongue, making a fake gagging sound. "Ew, I can't even, brav." He then pointed at Merak's turtle sweater, "By the way, you're wearing that again? It's like you decide to "hang out" with Ankoku. And he left... a little mess." Ombre winked, before giggling like a child, "Unless..." Ombre gasped, "You did!!!" Ombre gasped, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "You finally admitted your feelings for Ankoku! Is that why you're wearing his favorite sweater? To feel closer to him?"
Merak rolled his eyes, taking another sip of his coffee. "No, Ombre," he said, his voice calm and steady. "I'm wearing this sweater because it's comfortable, and it's the only clean one I have left. Not because of Ankoku."
Ombre pouted, his lower lip sticking out in a dramatic display of disappointment. "Aw, come on, brav," he said, his voice whiny. "Just admit it to him, you're gay, he's gay. And he's gay in a gay way. I mean, he wears piercings like there's no tomorrow." Ombre said, leaning against the counter, his wings fluttering softly behind him. "And he's always talking about how much he loves 'the scene'. Not that I blame him, brav. I mean, have you seen the guys at the club? They're like, 'whoa, mama' hot."
Merak raised an eyebrow, taking another sip of his coffee. "Ombre, I've told you before," he said, his voice firm yet gentle. "Ankoku and I are just friends. Nothing more, nothing less."
"Then why do you look at him all lustfull?" Ombre snickered, "And... well, saying that I've heard, why'd you ask if you wanna... "Lay on the couch and watch some porn?" Ombre suggested, wiggling his eyebrows playfully. "I mean, if you're not gonna confess your feelings to Ankoku, at least get some action, brav."
Merak almost choked on his coffee, his eyes widening in surprise. "Ombre!" he exclaimed, his voice stern. "First of all, that's none of your business. And secondly, I am not going to watch porn while you're here. Especially not with you making those kinds of suggestions."
Ombre pouted, crossing his arms over his chest. "Fine, fine," he said, his voice sulky. "Wait, you watch porn?"
Ombre asked, his eyes widening with curiosity. "Like, with other people? Or just by yourself?" He leaned in closer, his wings fluttering softly with excitement. "Tell me more, brav. I wanna know everything." "Ombre, we are not having this conversation," he said, his voice firm. "Especially not before noon."
Ombre pouted, but he was far from defeated. "But you owe me. And I'll remember this, brav." Ombre chuckled, before seeing the time, his features falling, "I gotta go, brav..." Ombre said, his voice suddenly serious. "I've got something to do, something important. I can't miss it. But I promise, I'll be back before you know it." He grabbed his rollerblades from the corner, quickly lacing them up.
Merak raised an eyebrow, setting his coffee cup down on the counter. "Ombre, what are you up to?" he asked, his voice stern. "And don't you dare say 'nothing'. I can tell when you're hiding something."
Ombre looked up at him, his star-pupiled eyes wide and innocent. "It's... something that I have to do that if I tell you I'll get in trouble." Ombre's voice was low, his eyes darting nervously between Merak and the door. "It's just... it's something I promised someone, okay? And I can't back out now."
Merak sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Ombre, I don't want you getting into trouble," he said, his voice firm yet gentle. "Whatever it is, we can figure it out together. You don't have to do this alone."
Ombre hesitated, his wings twitching slightly. Then, he shook his head, a determined look in his eyes. "No, brav."
Ombre then left.
Merak was left alone, his mind racing with worry. He knew Ombre had a mind of his own, but this was different. This was dangerous. He had to find out what was going on. He couldn't just sit around and wait for Ombre to come back, not knowing if he was safe or not.
Merak quickly finished getting ready, pulling on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, before grabbing his coat and heading out the door. He knew Ombre was fast, but he wasn't about to let that stop him. He had to catch up to him, had to make sure he was okay.
But first, he called Ankoku, for back up in case things go wrong.
He was also the quickest to answer.
"Heeey, cutie!" Ankoku said, being gay, like usual. "Wanna watch some por-"
"Not now, Anky..." Merak said, "Also, you haven't told Ombre about us yet, right? It's for their birthday."
"Of course not, sweetie pie~!"
"Thanks, Anky..." Merak sighed, "I need you to come to my apartment, the lobby." He heard Ankoku pause, his voice suddenly serious. "What's wrong, Merak?" "It's Ombre, he's up to something, and I think it's dangerous. I need your help to keep an eye on him." "I'll be there in a flash, babe." Ankoku hung up, leaving Merak to pace around his apartment, his mind racing with worry.
Merak knew Ombre had a tendency to get into trouble, but this time felt different. This time, it felt like Ombre was hiding something big, something dangerous. And Merak couldn't just sit back and do nothing.
There he was, Ankoku Marshal. He was wearing black, slim jeans, a red turtle neck sweater, with slim golden necklaces and sliver pierces for a gay touch.
"Hey, baby..." Ankoku said, kissing Merak, "How's it going, sugarplums?" He winked, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "I see you're all dressed up for the occasion. Trying to impress someone?" He grinned, looking Merak up and down, his eyes lingering on the turtle sweater.
Merak rolled his eyes, pushing Ankoku gently. "Not now, Anky," he said, his voice firm. "We need to find Ombre. He's up to something, and I don't want him getting hurt."
Ankoku's expression sobered, his eyes filled with concern. "Alright, babe," he said, his voice serious. Though, he gave Merak another kiss before doing so, "But be careful, baby. I'll handle the things that are too tough for you, hm? I am a stronger, sweetpea." Ankoku winked, giving Merak a confident smile. "Besides, it's not like I'm going to let anything happen to our little moth, right, Merak?" He playfully nudged Merak's shoulder, attempting to lighten the mood.
Merak allowed himself a small smile, appreciating Ankoku's effort. "Right," he agreed, feeling a spark of determination. "Let's go find him, then."
They stepped out into the bustling city street, the neon lights reflecting off the wet pavement. The air was thick with the scent of rain and exhaust fumes, but Merak barely noticed.
Merak then saw two figures, dragging an beatened Ombre into an alleyway. He grabbed Ankoku's arm, pointing towards the commotion. "Anky, look!" he hissed, his heart pounding in his chest. Ankoku's eyes narrowed, his expression turning serious.
"Alright, babe," he said, his voice low. "Let's go get our little moth back."
They crept towards the alleyway, Merak's heart pounding in his ears. He could see Ombre struggling, his wings fluttering weakly as he tried to break free from the two figures. Merak's hands clenched into fists, anger coursing through his veins.
There was a door stating, "Death to all hybrids!" on it. That's when Ankoku realized what was going on.
"M-merak, baby..." Ankoku muttered, "That's... that's a..." Ankoku muttered, his voice barely above a whisper. "That's a hybrid hatred group's headquarters, Merak. The Crimson Claws. They're known for their violent attacks on hybrids like Ombre."
Merak's heart skipped a beat, his grip tightening on Ankoku's arm. "Ombre," he whispered, his voice filled with fear and determination. "We have to get him out of there."
Ankoku nodded, his expression serious. "I know, babe," he said, his voice low. "But we have to be careful. They use Hybrids to get money, saying how you can beat them for twenty bucks, or do anything to the poor things that get caught!" Ankoku whispered, his voice filled with rage. "We have to be smart about this, Merak. We can't just barge in there and expect to get Ombre back without a fight."
Merak nodded, his mind racing. "Alright, Anky," he said, his voice low. "We'll need a distraction. Something to draw their attention away from Ombre."
Ankoku's eyes lit up, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. "I've got an idea," he said, winking at Merak. "But it's gonna require some... finesse."
Ankoku knocked on the door, and a very muscular man opened.
"Ah, hello, newcomers!" He said, pleased, "We got that mothboy back again! Wanna have a nudge at giving it a good beatin'? Or get it raped?"
Merak nearly gagged.
Ankoku nodded, "Yeah," He lied, "A great beatin' to do with those hideous hybrids." Merak's eyes widened at Ankoku's sudden change in personality, but he played along, "Yeah, we've been lookin' for a place to... let off some steam." The muscly man grinned, "Well, welcome to Crimson Claws, boys! We've got all sorts of fun in store for you!" He stepped aside, allowing Ankoku and Merak to enter.
As they stepped inside, Merak's stomach churned at the sight before him. Hybrids of all shapes and sizes were huddled in the corners, beaten and bruised.
Then there was a cage in the middle. That's where Ombre was, the golden prize.
"That's the only one who's worth somethin' though, boys." The man stated, pointing at Ombre, who was tied to a stick in the middle of the cage, getting beaten, raped, or worse. "The only cute one here. Price for that one is a hundred." The man's eyes gleamed with greed, "But for you two, I can make it fifty each. A deal, yeah?"
Ankoku and Merak exchanged a glance, a silent understanding passing between them. They had to play along, at least for now.
"Deal," Ankoku said, his voice cold. "But we want the mothboy first. To... warm up."
The man grinned, revealing a set of yellowed teeth. "Sure thing, buddy," he said, leading them towards the cage. "But remember, no killing, just rapin' or beating, yeah?" the man added, licking his lips greedily. Ankoku and Merak exchanged another glance, a silent promise passing between them. They would play along, but they wouldn't let anyone harm Ombre any further.
"Of course," Ankoku replied, his voice smooth and calm. "We wouldn't want to damage the merchandise, now would we?"
The man chuckled, leading them to the cage where Ombre was being held. The sight of their friend, bruised and battered, made Merak's blood boil, but he kept his composure. They needed to be smart about this.
Merak paused, having another idea, "How much... Uhm, how much would it cost to purchase... this... uhm... Moth?"
"Well, I dunno. You gotta go to the "Daily Prizes" to do that. 'S what we do with all the cute hybrids." The man said.
"But I can tell you, he's the most expensive one here. We're talkin' at least five thousand for that one. He's a real prize, ain't he?"
Merak's heart sank. Five thousand dollars was a lot of money, more than he had saved up. He looked at Ankoku, who seemed to read his mind.
"Hey, Merak..." Ankoku whispered, "I'm as rich as hell, you think I can't afford me a little moth?"
"Hey, if yur talkin' 'bout getting the moth, you gotta go to the Daily Prizes first." The man pointed at one of the stands, "You gotta earn the mothie boy, then buy 'em for five thousand. To just straight up buy him is like... One hundred thousand, 's so high 'cause it's against the rules."
The man then said, "You gotta buy five tickets to either beat or rape the mothie boy, then ya gotta decide whether to buy him as a daily pass for a thousand, or a weekly on for five." Merak's stomach churned at the man's words, but he kept his composure.
Ankoku, on the other hand, seemed to be enjoying the man's company a little too much. "Well, isn't that just peachy," he said, a wicked grin spreading across his face. "I think I'll take a shot at the mothboy myself. What do you say, Merak? Fancy a round?"
Merak glared at Ankoku, trying to convey with his eyes that now was not the time for his twisted sense of humor. "D-do... Do we have to hurt the moth..?"
"Well, duh!"
"A-ah... I see."
Ankoku got the message when he saw Merak's face droop.
"Well, see ya gay wads later then!"
The man then left.
"Hey, we can go easy on our little friend, okay?" Ankoku suggested, cupping Merak's cheek, "Nice and easy, maybe it'll hurt, but it's so we can safe them, okay?" Merak nodded, his eyes flickering to the cage where Ombre lay, his wings twitching weakly. Ankoku followed his gaze, his expression softening. "We'll get him out of here, Merak," he promised, his voice low. "No matter what it takes."
Merak took a deep breath, steeling himself for what was to come. "Alright," he said, his voice firm. "Let's do this."
Ankoku grinned, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "That's the spirit, babe," he said, clapping Merak on the back.
"Now, let's get this show on the road. I've got a plan."
Merak raised an eyebrow, but he trusted Ankoku. If anyone could get them out of this mess, it was him. "What's the plan?"
Ankoku leaned in close, his voice barely above a whisper. "I'm gonna pretend to be into this whole...thing," he said, his lip curling in disgust.
"And you're going to play along, okay? We need to get close to Ombre, and we need to find out where exactly we are. Then, we'll make our move."
Merak nodded, understanding the plan. "Okay, Anky," he said, his voice low. "But be careful. We don't want to tip them off."
Ankoku winked, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. "Don't worry, babe," he said, his voice smooth. "I've got this."
The two then went to the Daily Prizes counter.
A tall, lanky woman with a pierced nose and a scowl for a smile stood behind the counter. She looked them up and down, her eyes lingering on Ankoku's piercings and Merak's turtle sweater.
"Whaddya want?" she barked, her voice like nails on a chalkboard.
Ankoku flashed her a charming smile, leaning against the counter. "We're here to buy some tickets, darling," he said, his voice smooth. "The mothboy caught our eye, and we'd like to...
get to know him better, if you know what I mean," Ankoku said, winking at the woman. She raised an eyebrow, her eyes narrowing as she took in his appearance. "You two are new here, ain't ya?" she snapped, her voice sharp. "Yeah, well, ain't none of my business what you do with the hybrids, long as you pay for it," she continued, her tone gruff. "Tickets are twenty bucks each. You want five, that's a hundred. And that's just to get in the cage with him to beat 'em. Wanna rape 'em? Well, that'll be another twenty!" she snapped, her eyes gleaming with greed. "And if you wanna buy him after, that's another thousand for a daily pass, or five thousand for a weekly one. But remember, no killin', that's against the rules."
Ankoku's smile never faltered, but Merak could see the anger simmering in his eyes. "We'll take five tickets to... beat him," Ankoku said, his voice smooth. "And a daily pass. We'll see how it goes from there."
The woman grunted, taking the money from Ankoku and handing him the tickets.
"Here ya go, pretty boy," she sneered, her eyes lingering on his piercings. "Have fun with your little... toy." She cackled, a sound like nails on a chalkboard, as Ankoku and Merak turned away.
Ankoku's hand found Merak's, giving it a reassuring squeeze. "We're in this together, babe," he murmured, his voice low. "We'll get through this, and we'll get Ombre out of here."
Merak nodded, taking a deep breath to steady himself. "Together," he agreed, his voice firm.
"Though... you heard the man, baby boy..." Ankoku sighed, "One of us has to either rape or beat Ombre." He looked at Merak, "And as much as I love you, babe, I don't think you're ready for that yet." Ankoku winked, making Merak blush. "So, I guess it's up to me. But don't worry, I'll go easy on him. I promise." Ankoku gave Merak a reassuring smile, before turning to the cage where Ombre was being held.
Ankoku approached the cage, the two guards on either side of it eyeing him warily. "Alright, pretty boy," one of them smirked, "You got your tickets.
What's it gonna be? Beat or...?" He wiggled his eyebrows suggestively, making Ankoku's skin crawl.
Ankoku flashed them a charming smile, leaning against the cage. "Oh, I think I'll give him a little... beating," he said, his voice smooth. "Just to warm up, you know?"
The guards chuckled, unlocking the cage door. "Suit yourself, pretty boy," the other one said, his eyes gleaming with amusement. "But remember, don't kill."
The other guard then said, "You used one ticket, so you get 10 minutes. If you wanna buy that mothie boy, you gotta use all five."
Merak seemed nervous as Ankoku went into the cage, seeing Ombre heaving for air, tied to the bottom of a stick with his arms chained to it, defenseless. His wings were twitching, and tears were streaming down his face. The sight of his friend like that made Merak's heart ache, but he knew they had to play this smart.
Ankoku sauntered into the cage, his eyes locked onto Ombre. He could see the fear in the little moth's eyes, and it made his heart ache. He had to be careful, had to make this look real. He couldn't let on that he was here to rescue Ombre, not yet.
"Well, well, well," Ankoku said, his voice smooth and cold. "Look what we have here.
A pretty little moth, all tied up and ready for me to play with." Ankoku's voice dripped with mock cruelty, but Merak could see the concern in his eyes. He knew Ankoku was acting, putting on a show for the guards.
Ombre's eyes widened in fear, his wings fluttering weakly as he tried to shrink back from Ankoku. "P-please," he whimpered, his voice barely above a whisper. "Don't hurt me."
Ankoku chuckled, a cold and harsh sound that made Merak's skin crawl. The sound of cheers came from the crowd watching for fun.
Ankoku, regretfully, stomped directly where - if Ombre was a guy - his crotch would be. Ombre cried out in pain, his wings fluttering wildly as he tried to curl into himself. The crowd roared with laughter and cheers, the sound of their enjoyment making Merak's stomach churn.
"Please," Ombre whimpered again, tears streaming down his face. "Please, no more."
Ankoku hesitated, his heart aching at the sight of Ombre in pain. He knew he had to be convincing, had to make this look real, but seeing his friend like this was almost too much to bear. He gritted his teeth, steeling himself for what he had to do next.
He tugged Ombre's hair up, making Ombre look at him. A single black eye, bite marks, hickeys, bruises, deep cuts and wounds covered Ombre completely. His once vibrant wings were now broken and torn, barely twitching. Ankoku swallowed hard, trying to keep his composure. He had to make this look real, but seeing Ombre like this was almost too much to bear.
"Please," Ombre whimpered again, his voice barely audible. "Please, don't."
Ankoku let go of Ombre's hair, his hand trembling slightly. He took a deep breath, steeling himself for what he had to do next. He had to make this look real, had to make the guards believe that he was enjoying this.
He almost whimpered as he kicked Ombre in the stomach, before punching him in the face. The crowd roared with laughter and cheers, but Merak could see the tears streaming down Ombre's face, could see the pain in his eyes. He wanted to rush in, to stop this, but he knew he had to be patient. They had a plan, and they had to stick to it.
Ankoku, despite the sickening feeling in his stomach, continued his charade. He grabbed Ombre by the throat, lifting him up so that his feet dangled off the ground. "You're not so tough now, are you, mothboy?" he sneered, his voice cold and cruel.
"You're just a pathetic little insect, aren't you? Good for nothing but being a plaything for people like me."
Ombre's eyes filled with tears, his wings fluttering weakly as he struggled to breathe. "P-please," he gasped, his voice barely audible. "Please, stop."
Ankoku's grip tightened, his knuckles turning white as he fought to keep up the act. He could feel Ombre's pulse racing beneath his fingers, could see the fear in his eyes.
He then tossed Ombre against the pole that kept him in the middle. The ten minutes for the first ticket was up, now for the second.
"Alright, do you wanna beat him again, or rape him, buddy?" The guard asked.
The crowd was still cheering, eager for more. Ankoku glanced at Merak, who looked pale and sickened by the scene unfolding before him. Ankoku gave him a small, reassuring nod, before turning back to the guard.
"Rape," Ankoku said, his voice cold and steady. The guard grinned, unlocking the cage door. "Good choice, pretty boy," he said, his eyes gleaming with amusement. "Here's your second ticket. You got another ten minutes."
Ankoku stepped back into the cage, his heart pounding in his chest.
He knew what he had to do, but the thought of hurting Ombre any further made his stomach churn. He took a deep breath, steeling himself for what was to come.
He approached Ombre, who was slumped against the pole, his wings twitching weakly. Ankoku could see the fear in his eyes, and it made his heart ache. He knew he had to be convincing, had to make this look real, but he also had to find a way to let Ombre know that he was here to help.
He reached out, grabbing Ombre by the chin and tilting his head up to look at him.
"You know what's going to happen now, don't you, mothboy?" Ankoku growled, his voice low and menacing. Ombre's eyes widened in fear, but he nodded slightly, his wings fluttering weakly.
"Good," Ankoku purred, his thumb brushing over Ombre's bottom lip. "I'm going to fuck you, mothboy. I'm going to fuck you hard and rough, just like you deserve."
Ombre whimpered, his eyes filling with tears. "Please," he begged, his voice barely audible.
Ankoku's grip on Ombre's chin tightened, his heart aching at the sight of his friend's tears. He knew he had to push through, had to make this look real. He leaned in close, his voice low and menacing. "You're not in a position to beg, mothboy," he growled. "You're mine now, to do with as I please."
Ombre whimpered, his wings fluttering weakly as he tried to shrink back from Ankoku. But there was nowhere for him to go, no escape from the cage that held him captive.
Ankoku could see the resignation in Ombre's eyes, the acceptance of his fate. It made his heart ache, but he had to push through, had to make this look real.
He roughly pulled Ombre's head back, exposing his neck. Ombre gasped, his wings fluttering in surprise. Ankoku could see the pulse point in his neck, throbbing with fear and anticipation. He leaned in, his tongue snaking out to lick a path up Ombre's neck, tasting the salt of his sweat and tears.
Ombre shivered, a small whimper escaping his lips.
Ankoku could feel the little moth's body trembling beneath his touch, could see the goosebumps rising on his skin. He smirked, knowing that he was affecting Ombre, even if it was in a way that neither of them wanted.
He reached down, his hands going to the waistband of Ombre's baggy jeans. He could feel the little moth tense beneath his touch, could hear his ragged breathing. Ankoku looked up, his eyes locking onto Ombre's. "Relax, mothboy," he growled, his voice low and menacing.
"This is going to happen, whether you like it or not." Ankoku's hands worked quickly, unbuttoning Ombre's jeans and pushing them down, along with his underwear, revealing his smooth, uncut cock. Ombre whimpered, trying to cover himself with his wings, but Ankoku was having none of it. He grabbed Ombre's wrists, pinning them above his head, his powerful body pressing down on the smaller creature.
"You're not going to fight me, are you, mothboy?" Ankoku asked, his voice dangerous. Ombre shook his head, tears streaming down his face.
"N-no," he whimpered, his voice barely audible. "Please, don't do this."
Ankoku's grip on Ombre's wrists tightened, his eyes gleaming with a cruel, mocking light. "Too late for that, mothboy," he purred, his voice low and dangerous.
Ombre whimpered, trying to struggle against Ankoku's hold, but it was no use. The larger man was too strong, too powerful.
Ombre's struggles were futile, his wings fluttering weakly as he tried to escape Ankoku's iron grip. Ankoku just chuckled, a cold and mocking sound that sent shivers down Ombre's spine.
"Feisty little thing, aren't you?" Ankoku taunted, his eyes gleaming with cruel amusement. "I like that. Makes it more fun when you finally give in."
Ombre glared at him, his eyes filled with defiance and hatred. "I will never give in to you," he spat, his voice shaking with rage and fear.
Ankoku just chuckled, a dark and dangerous sound that made Ombre's blood run cold.
"Strong words from such a weak little creature," Ankoku taunted, his eyes gleaming with malice. "But I like a challenge. It makes the victory that much sweeter."
With that, Ankoku released Ombre's wrists, only to grab him by the hips and flip him over. Ombre cried out in surprise and pain as he was forced onto his hands and knees, his wings fluttering wildly as he tried to regain his balance.
After ten minutes, Ankoku was done.
He stood up, leaving Ombre on the ground, panting and shaking. It was time to use the third ticket.
Ankoku looked down at Ombre, his body still trembling, his wings twitching weakly. He knew he had to push this further, had to make it look real. He grabbed Ombre by the hair, tugging his head back roughly. Ombre gasped, his eyes widening in pain and fear.
"Get on your knees, mothboy," Ankoku growled, his voice low and menacing. "It's time for the main event."
Ombre hesitated, his body shaking with fear and revulsion. But Ankoku wasn't asking, he was demanding.
He yanked Ombre's hair harder, making the little moth cry out in pain. "On your fucking knees, mothboy," Ankoku snarled, his voice like thunder. "Now."
Ombre whimpered, but he complied, slowly shifting onto his knees, his wings dragging on the cold, hard ground. Ankoku released his hair, but only to grab him by the chin, tilting his head up to look at him. Ombre's eyes were filled with tears, his lip trembling, but there was also a spark of defiance in them that made Ankoku's cock twitch.
He could see the fear and revulsion in the little moth's eyes, but he also saw something else, something that made his heart ache. Trust. Despite everything, Ombre trusted him.
Ankoku took a deep breath, steeling himself for what he had to do next. He reached down, unbuckling his belt and unbuttoning his jeans, pushing them down along with his boxers, revealing his thick, hard cock to Ombre.
The little moth's eyes widened in fear and revulsion, but Ankoku could see the spark of defiance in them, the refusal to give in. It made his cock twitch, made him want to break that defiance, to make Ombre submit to him completely.
"Open your mouth, mothboy," Ankoku growled, his voice low and dangerous. "It's time for you to taste my cock."
Ombre hesitated, his eyes filled with disgust and fear. He grabbed Ombre by the hair, tugging his head forward roughly.
"I said, open your fucking mouth, mothboy," Ankoku snarled, his voice laced with malice. Ombre whimpered, but he complied, his small mouth opening just enough for Ankoku to push his thick cock inside.
Ankoku groaned at the feeling of Ombre's warm, wet mouth enveloping his cock. He could feel the little moth's tongue pressing against him, trying to push him out, but Ankoku wasn't having it.
He grabbed Ombre's hair tighter, holding him in place as he began to thrust his hips, fucking Ombre's mouth with brutal force.
"Take it, mothboy," Ankoku growled, his voice laced with cruelty. "Take my cock like a good little slut."
Ombre gagged, his wings fluttering wildly as he struggled to breathe through his nose. Tears streamed down his face, his eyes watering as Ankoku's thick cock hit the back of his throat, again and again.
"You're doing so good, mothboy," Ankoku taunted, his voice mocking.
"Choking on my cock like a good little bitch." He punctuated his words with a particularly brutal thrust, making Ombre gag again. "Is this what you've been wanting, huh? A big, hard cock to fill that hungry little mouth of yours?"
Ombre tried to shake his head, but Ankoku's grip on his hair was too tight. He could feel his eyes watering, his lungs burning as he struggled to breathe through his nose. He could taste the metallic tang of blood in his mouth, his gums aching from the force of Ankoku's thrusts.
He wanted to scream, to beg Ankoku to stop, but all that came out was a muffled gagging sound as Ankoku's cock hit the back of his throat once again.
He could feel his body starting to shake, his vision beginning to swim as he struggled to stay conscious.
Ankoku seemed to sense his distress, slowing his thrusts slightly. "That's it, mothboy," he murmured, his voice suddenly gentle. "Just a little longer. You can take it."
Ombre wanted to cry, to beg Ankoku to stop, but all he could do was whimper around the thick cock in his mouth. He could feel himself starting to drift, his body growing heavy and sluggish as he struggled to stay awake.
He could hear the distant sound of cheers and catcalls, the crowd watching and enjoying his humiliation. It made him want to scream, to lash out, but he was powerless to do anything but kneel there, helpless and humiliated.
Ankoku was merciful, pulling out of his mouth with a final, brutal thrust. Ombre gasped for air, his body wracking with coughs as he tried to catch his breath. He could taste blood and bile in his mouth, the bitter taste of his own humiliation.
Those were the final tickets. All they needed to do was purchase Ombre to free him!
Merak watched anxiously, his heart pounding in his chest, as Ankoku left the cage, leaving Ombre on the ground, coughing and shaking. The crowd, still eager for more, booed and hissed, but Ankoku ignored them, making his way back to Merak.
"Here he comes," Merak muttered, nudging Ankoku. "Let's just buy him and get out of here."
Ankoku nodded, a determined look in his eyes. They approached the counter, where the woman was waiting, a smug smile on her face.
"Changed your mind, pretty boys?" she sneered.
"That'll be a thousand for the daily pass, or five for the weekly one.
Ankoku pulled out his wallet, counting out the bills. "We'll take the daily pass," he said, his voice steady. The woman's smile widened greedily as she took the money, shoving a receipt into Ankoku's hand.
"Enjoy your little... pet," she cackled, her eyes gleaming with malice.
"But remember, no killin'. That's against the rules." She leaned in closer, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. "But if you wanna make sure he doesn't try anything funny, you can always use the... special collar." She nodded towards a wall behind her, where a row of collars hung, each one more ominous-looking than the last.
Ankoku followed her gaze, his eyes narrowing as he took in the collars. "What do they do?" he asked, his voice casual, but Merak could hear the tension underlying it.
His heart pounded in his chest, anxiety coursing through him.
The woman cackled, a sound like nails on a chalkboard. "Oh, they're just a little... insurance policy," she said, her eyes gleaming with malice. "Each one has a different... effect. Some make 'em compliant, some make 'em... painful." She smirked, leaning in closer. "The one at the end, that's my personal favorite. Makes 'em... eager, if you know what I mean." She winked, making Merak's stomach churn.
"But don't worry, pretty boys, they're all perfectly safe. As long as you follow the rules, of course." She leaned back, her eyes gleaming with amusement. "So, what'll it be?"
Ankoku glanced at Merak, who shook his head slightly. They didn't need any of those, not when they were planning to rescue Ombre. "We'll pass on the collars," Ankoku said, his voice firm. "But thanks for the offer."
The woman's smile faded, replaced by a scowl. "Suit yourselves," she snapped, turning away.
"But don't come crying to me if your little pet gives you trouble."
Ankoku and Merak exchanged a glance, both relieved and anxious. They had the receipt, and now they just needed to get Ombre out of there. They turned to leave, but the woman's voice stopped them.
"Oh, and one more thing," she called out, a cruel smile on her face. "You might want to hurry. The next act is about to start, and let's just say, your little friend won't be the only one in the cage."
Ankoku's heart skipped a beat, his blood running cold.
As they saw Ombre get replaced, they asked the guard how will they get Ombre.
"Well," The guard said, "We can shove them in a cage right now, and you get bring them where ever."
"I-is the cage mandatory?" Merak asked, clinging onto Ankoku's side.
"Yeah, it is." The guard replied, his eyes gleaming with amusement at Merak's discomfort. "But don't worry, pretty boy, it's not like he's gonna be in there forever. Just until you get him home and... settled in." He winked, making Merak's stomach churn.
Ankoku spoke up, his voice steady despite the anxiety coursing through him. "Can we see the cage first? Make sure it's... suitable for our friend?"
The guard shrugged, leading them to a row of cages lined up against the wall. "Sure thing, pretty boy.
Here you go." The guard stopped in front of a cage, larger than the others, with a thick layer of straw on the floor. It was cleaner than the one Ombre had been in, but it was still a cage, a cold, hard reminder of the power dynamics at play.
Ankoku inspected the cage, running his hands over the bars, checking the lock. He nodded, satisfied. "This will do," he said, his voice casual, but Merak could hear the tension underlying it.
The guard grinned, revealing a set of stained teeth. "Glad to hear it.
Now, let's go get your little friend." The guard led them back to the stage, where Ombre was now slumped against the pole, his wings twitching weakly. The new audience was already gathering, their eyes gleaming with anticipation.
Ankoku stepped forward, flashing the receipt at the guard. "We're here to pick up our purchase," he said, his voice steady despite the anxiety churning in his stomach.
The guard glanced at the receipt, then back at Ankoku, a smirk on his face. "Alright, pretty boy, but you gotta do it in front of the crowd.
Boss's orders," the guard said, jerking his thumb towards a burly man standing nearby, his arms crossed over his chest.
Ankoku nodded, trying to hide his apprehension. He had to make this look real, had to make the crowd believe that he was claiming Ombre as his prize. He stepped forward, his eyes locked onto Ombre's prone form.
"Get up, mothboy," he growled, his voice loud enough to carry over the murmur of the crowd. Ombre stirred, his wings twitching as he slowly pushed himself to his feet.
Ankoku scoped Ombre up, before shoving him in the cage.
"Here you go, pretty boy," the guard said, locking the cage with a loud click. "All yours now, until you decide to bring him back or let him go." He winked, a cruel smile on his face. "Enjoy your new pet." They had Ombre, but now they had to get him out of there and somewhere safe. They started to make their way through the crowd, the cage clattering behind them, drawing curious glances and whispers.
As they exited the building, Merak finally let out a sigh of relief.
"We did it," he breathed, looking back at the cage. Ombre was huddled in the corner, his wings wrapped around him, his eyes closed. Ankoku could see the rise and fall of his chest, the slight twitch of his wings, and he knew he was alive, but barely.
Ankoku nodded, his heart still pounding in his chest. "We did," he agreed, his voice low. "But we're not out of the city yet. We need to get him somewhere safe, somewhere we can take care of him."
Merak nodded, looking around.
The streets were still bustling, but the crowd from the arena had dispersed, leaving only the usual nighttime hustle and bustle. "Where do you think we should go?" he asked, looking up at Ankoku.
Ankoku considered their options. They needed a place that was safe, quiet, and preferably not too far away. Suddenly, an idea struck him. "I know a place," he said, a small smile playing on his lips. "It's not far from here. My friend runs a small clinic on the outskirts of the city.
It's quiet, private, and he owes me a favor," Ankoku explained, starting to walk with the cage in tow. Merak hurried to keep up, his eyes darting nervously around them. "Do you think he'll have a problem with us bringing... this here?" he asked, gesturing to the cage.
Ankoku shook his head. "No, he won't. He's seen worse, trust me. Besides, it's not like we have many other options right now," he replied, his voice firm. Merak nodded, falling silent as they made their way through the crowded streets.
Ankoku led the way, the cage clattering behind him, drawing curious glances from passersby. Merak walked close to his side, his eyes darting nervously around them, making sure no one got too close to the cage or asked too many questions.
After what felt like hours, they finally reached the clinic. It was a small, unassuming building nestled between two larger ones, its plain, white exterior blending in with the surrounding architecture. A small, worn sign above the door read "Dr. Kaito's Clinic" in faded letters.
Ankoku didn't bother knocking, pushing the door open and stepping inside, Merak close on his heels. The clinic was quiet, the only sound the soft hum of an old refrigerator in the corner. A narrow hallway stretched out before them, leading to a small reception area. Ankoku headed straight for the door marked "Office," pushing it open without ceremony.
Dr. Kaito sat behind a cluttered desk, his head of silver hair bent over a stack of papers. He looked up as they entered, his sharp blue eyes taking in the sight of the cage and its occupant with a single, assessing glance.
"Ankoku," he greeted, his voice calm and steady. "What brings you here at this hour? And with... company?" His gaze flicked to Merak, who shrank back slightly under the scrutiny.
Ankoku set the cage down with a clatter, ignoring the way Ombre flinched at the sudden movement. "We need your help, Kaito," he said, getting straight to the point. "This is Ombre. He's... been through a lot.
He needs medical attention, and I can't take him back to my place, not with... not with people who might recognize him." Ankoku's voice was firm, but Kaito could hear the underlying tension, the worry that he tried to hide.
Kaito leaned back in his chair, his eyes narrowing as he studied Ankoku and Merak. He knew Ankoku well enough to know that he didn't ask for help lightly, and the fact that he was here, with a injured creature in a cage, meant that something was seriously wrong.
Kaito's gaze shifted to the cage, taking in the sight of the small, winged figure huddled inside. He could see the rise and fall of its chest, the slight twitch of its wings, and he knew that it was alive, but barely.
"What happened to him?" Kaito asked, his voice steady despite the concern he felt. He was a doctor, after all, and he had seen his fair share of injuries and abuses. But there was something about this creature, something that made his heart ache with pity and anger.
Ankoku hesitated, glancing at Merak.
They hadn't discussed how much to reveal, but Kaito deserved to know the truth, at least in part. "He was... held captive," Ankoku began, his voice low. "In a place called the Arena. They made him fight, made him... perform. We managed to buy him out, but he's hurt, Kaito. Badly."
Kaito's expression darkened, his hands clenching into fists on top of his desk. "I see," he said, his voice tight with barely contained anger.
