Chapter 1: Introduction
Clarissa was in her bed looking at the book when Isabelle entered. Isabelle what is this book about?" Clarissa asked.
"Ah, you've found it. That is the "Maid's Revenge," Isabelle replied casually as she finished dusting the fireplace.
Clarissa sat upright in her bed, letting the covers drop, exposing her lace nightgown. She held the book up, inspecting it with keen interest. "But what is it all about, Isabelle?
"Well my Lady it is about a cruel maid who seeks revenge on her Mistress" Isabelle responded, careful to keep her true intentions hidden.
"That sounds fascinating, I've never read such a thing! I thought all books were about romance and good morals" Clarissa replied with a tint of excitement and curiosity in her voice.
"Would you like me to read it to you Mistress? asked Isabelle.
She was eager to see Lady Clarissa's reaction to the racy content. Soon Clarissa fell asleep and Isabelle smirked as she looked down on her.
"Yes, please do!" Clarissa agreed, scooting over on the bed, leaving enough room for Isabelle to join her.
Isabelle sat down on the bed, placing the duster on the side table. She took the book from Clarissa and began to read the first chapter aloud.
Clarissa's eyes widened as she listened to Isabelle read. The words were so different from anything she had ever heard. Isabelle began to read the story in great detail. "There was once a maid named Helga who was jealous of her Mistress" she began.
"She had been serving her for years, but her Mistress never appreciated her. Instead, she preferred to spend her time with wealthy and handsome men."
As Isabelle continued reading, a mischievous glint sparkled in her eyes. She was thrilled to be sharing this taboo story with Lady Clarissa, whose cheeks had grown flushed with each passing moment.
"One day, Helga decided to take matters into her own hands.
She devised a plan to enslave and humiliate her Mistress. Helga would use her cunning intelligence and manipulative skills to gain control over the household.
