Chapter 19: The Architect's Blueprint
The storm outside had escalated from a patter to a roar. Rain sheeted down the office windows, turning the garden into a liquid, grey-green smudge. Inside, the only light came from a single brass desk lamp, pooling warm gold across Aidan’s drafting table and glinting off the two empty whiskey glasses.
Catriona stood before the large pane of glass, watching the chaos. The coolness of the room seeped through her thin sweater. She could feel the charge in the air, static and promise.
“Elara’s schedule,” Aidan said from behind her, his voice a low rumble that competed with the thunder. “Thursday. Our allocated resource.”
She smiled, not turning. “She makes it sound so romantic.”
“It’s how she engages. Spreadsheets are her love language.” He moved closer, the warmth of his body displacing the chill at her back. His hands came to rest on her hips. “But it gave me an idea. A proper use of the time.”
“Oh?”
“Mm. She’s scheduled us. But she didn’t specify a location, or an activity.” His lips brushed the shell of her ear. “I want to use it to plan. In detail. For after.”
Catriona leaned back into him, a shiver that had nothing to do with the cold tracing her spine. “Plan what?”
“What you asked for. In the car on the way home. About control.” His hands tightened slightly. “You said you wanted to surrender. To see me take it. Completely.”
She had. In the dark of the Jag, with Isla asleep and the road humming beneath them, the words had slipped out, raw and unfiltered. I want to not think. I want you to decide everything.
Now, in the intimate gloom of his study, the idea took shape in the space between them.
“Show me,” she whispered.
He guided her to the drafting table, clearing a space with a sweep of his arm. The large sheet of blankvellum was stark white under the lamp. He picked up a charcoal pencil, his architect’s fingers poised.
“Here,” he said, his tone shifting into the focused, analytical cadence he used for work. It was unbearably sexy. “The setting. Our bedroom. But transformed.”
He began to sketch, quick, confident lines. Not a literal drawing, but a schematic. A rough outline of the room, the bed, two distinct figures.
“The principles are trust, aesthetics, and intensity,” he said, the charcoal whispering. “You and Isla. You’ll be prepared. Bathed. No decisions to make there. You’ll come in, and you’ll find the scene set. Lighting. Music. The tools laid out.”
“Tools?” Catriona’s mouth was dry.
“Silk ropes. The velvet restraints we bought in Paris and never used. A blindfold for you. Maybe for her, too, if she consents.” He drew a small, neat square to represent the bed. “Positions are crucial. I want you both displayed. For me. For each other.”
He sketched two rough, elegant forms beside the bed. “You here, kneeling. Back arched, wrists bound behind you. Isla here, over the ottoman, hips elevated. Accessible. Vulnerable. The contrast in posture will be part of it.”
Catriona watched the diagram emerge, her heart hammering. It was a blueprint of desire, clinical and filthy all at once.
“The sequence,” he continued, his green eyes catching the light, dark with intent. “I’ll start with you. Because you’re my wife. Because this started with you.” He tapped the figure representing her. “I’ll take you from behind, just like in the library. But this time, you’ll be bound. You won’t be able to move anything but the muscles I’m filling. You’ll feel it all, with nothing to distract you.”
His free hand drifted to the waistband of her jeans, a single finger slipping beneath the denim to stroke the skin of her lower back. She gasped.
“I won’t come in you then,” he said, his voice dropping. “Not the first time. I’ll pull out and finish on your skin. A claim. A preview.” He smudged a line on the vellum with his thumb, a graphic, suggestive mark.
“Then Isla.” His finger moved to the other sketched figure. “I’ll want to taste her first, with you both right there. I’ll want her coming on my tongue while you listen. Then I’ll take her. Hard. Because she can take it, and she loves it. And I’ll fill her. Deep. Let her feel that creampie for hours after.”
Catriona was breathing in short, sharp pulses. The image was visceral, overpowering.
“And then?” she managed.
“And then,” he said, turning to face her fully, leaning back against the table. The storm flashed, illuminating the stark hunger on his face. “I’ll come back to you. You’ll be wet from watching, from listening. I’ll untie you just enough to lay you back. I’ll look you in the eye. And I will fuck my come into you. Her scent, her taste, still on me. I will give you that deepest, most complete creampie. You’ll feel it spill into you, and you’ll know it’s mixed with the proof of what we’ve done. Of what you asked for.”
The crudeness of the words, coupled with the precision of his planning, shattered her. It was the ultimate amplifier. It wasn’t just surrender; it was a curated, architectural collapse.
“Jesus, Aidan.”
“Is it too much?” The question was genuine, a check-in amidst the heat.
“No,” she breathed, grabbing the front of his shirt. “It’s perfect. It’s exactly what I didn’t even know how to ask for. The structure… it makes the surrender safe. Total.”
He nodded, cupping her face. “We need to talk to Isla. Full consent. Every detail. It’s a script she needs to buy into.”
“She will,” Catriona said, thinking of Isla’s hedonistic delight, her appreciation for a well-composed scene. “The photography alone will send her.”
Aidan’s laugh was a short, dark sound. “No cameras. Not for this. This one is just for us. The memory needs to be… bodily.”
Another roll of thunder shook the windows. The whiskey glasses trembled on the desk.
“So we have until Thursday to plan,” she said, her fingers working at the buttons of his shirt. “And then?”
“And then we enact,” he said, pulling her into a kiss that tasted of whiskey and wildfire. “We build it.” He walked her backwards towards the deep leather Chesterfield, the schematic of their desire left behind on the table, a silent promise in the stormy dark.
