Chapter 2: Chapter 2
Oh, my God. It is her."
"I don't know. She looks different from the pictures." I said, looking at the woman €™s face for the first time. She had a gap-toothed smile and dark, soul-stealing eyes that took in everything and everyone. "Maybe it is her. What do you think, Aly?Isla, you remember her face?"
"Yeah, it's her. I remember her face," I said, smiling. "She's one a them big girls, you know. The kind that make you wonder how she gets into those clothes. And those shoes. Man, she can pull off anything she wants. She has that effect on people. And those curves. Oh, those curves."
"She's stunning," I said, turning away from the picture and back to her. "But there are others like her. Right now, there are at least three in this room. Why do you think she chose me? What makes me different from the others?" The question seemed innocent enough but I knew the answer.I knew why she picked me.
"You're the only one that doesn't want to have sex with her," my passenger said. "And that makes you different from every other man on the planet. Now stop thinking with your dick and give her a chance. She might surprise you."
"How do you know what I think?" I asked her and she blushed."I don't know. Maybe it's the fact that you're the first person that she's ever let get close enough to take a picture of that makes you different. Or maybe it’s the fact that you drive an Uber and have a beard and look like a lumberjack that makes you different. But whatever it is, I know that look on your face.
