Chapter 1: Introduction
The sun was just beginning to set, painting the room in a warm, golden light that seemed to highlight every curve and contour of Kyle's body. I tried to ignore the way my heart skipped a beat as he stretched out on the table, his well-defined muscles flexing beneath his tanned skin. But it was hard to concentrate on his physical therapy needs when his bulging biceps and massive chest were demanding my attention.
I'm a professional, dammit, I thought to myself, taking a deep breath and trying to focus on the task at hand. I was Kindra, a physical therapist who had been working at this clinic for years.
My office was a sterile, cold space filled with the hum of medical equipment and the quiet rustle of paperwork. A single, large window offered a view of the bustling city below, while a sink, toilet, and exam table took up a substantial portion of the floor space. The walls were painted in a clinical white, with a few framed certificates attesting to my qualifications.
Kyle, my latest patient, was a tall, muscular man with a thick mop of dark hair and a grin that could light up a room. He was also incredibly well-endowed, a fact that was impossible to miss as I examined his injuries.
I had seen my fair share of naked bodies in this line of work, but none had quite the... presence that Kyle did. I felt a blush creeping up my neck as I tried to maintain a professional demeanor.
"So, what did you do to yourself this time?" I asked, trying to keep my voice light and casual. I grabbed a pair of gloves from the nearby counter and began to gently manipulate his wrist.
Kyle chuckled, his deep voice filling the small room. "You know me, Kindra. Always up to no good. This time, it was a stupid motorcycle stunt gone wrong."
I sighed, shaking my head.
"You're lucky it wasn't worse, Kyle. I've seen some nasty breaks in my time."
He grinned up at me. "Ah, come on, Kindra. Where's your sense of adventure? It was a hell of a ride while it lasted."
I couldn't help but laugh. "Well, at least you can still walk. That's something, I guess."
He flexed his legs, the muscles in his thighs and calves bulging. "What can I say? I'm a natural-born show-off."
I tried to keep my eyes on his face, but they kept drifting south.
His hands were wrapped in thick casts, but the rest of him was on full display, and it was... a lot to take in. I felt my face flush again and quickly looked away, focusing on the casts.
"How are they feeling today?" I asked, changing the subject.
"A little stiff, but otherwise okay," he replied. "You're the expert. What do you think?"
I started to unwrap the casts, careful not to hurt him. "Well, it's only been a week, so they're still healing. We need to be careful not to rush things."
As I worked, I felt his eyes on me.
