The doorbell rings and I run to the window to see who has arrived. It's my boyfriend, Alex, with a take-awayI open the door and he pulls me inside, kissing me full on the lips. I melt into him and let his tongue explore my mouth as he s done every day for the past four months since we met. My belly feels tight as I breathe in his scent and feel the warmth of his body as he presses his lips to mine."I've ordered us some food, baby," he says, smiling through his thick, ginger locks. "I know you don't like em, but I get hungry when I play the computer."We eat in silence, his head resting on my shoulders as we watch the street. Afterward, he pays for the food and we head back to the sofa to continue our game.
