Chapter 2: Chapter 2
The word that finally fell from Agnese’s lips was not yes.
It was, “No.”
It hung in the salted air, small and defiant. A bubble of resistance in the humming stillness.
Michela let out a shuddering breath, as if she’d been holding it for a century. “No,” she echoed, her voice gaining strength, sculpting the refusal into something solid. “Fuck no. You can keep your… your emotional surgery. We’re leaving.”
For a heartbeat, there was only the whisper of the stones. Then Isabella’s perfect, placid smile tightened at the edges. Olivia’s oceanic gaze, which had been placidly predatory, frosted over.
“A pity,” Isabella said, the words silk-covered ice. She stood, the dark shawl slipping entirely from her shoulders. The moonlight seemed to worship her form. “The gate is open. The old stones are listening. To refuse them after awakening their appetite… that is less simple than walking away.”
“We’re not giving you pieces of our souls,” Agnese snapped, her feminist fury reigniting, burning away the fascination. “It’s grotesque. You’re grotesque.”
Olivia moved. One moment she was on the plinth, the next she was directly in front of Michela, so close her bare skin almost brushed the fleece of Michela’s jacket. Michela recoiled, but Olivia’s hand shot out, not to grab, but to hover, palm open, beside Michela’s cheek. “You smell of want,” Olivia murmured. “It pours off you like cheap perfume. You reek of it. You think your no is principled? It’s fear. You’re afraid of what you truly desire.”
“Get away from me,” Michela growled, but she didn’t move. Her body was rigid, a contradicting testament to Olivia’s words.
Isabella drifted toward Agnese, a phantom of jasmine and shadow. “You think it’s a nobility, to cling to your conflict?” Her laugh was a soft, cruel thing. “It’s just vanity. The vanity of believing your suffering is more pure than your satisfaction.” She reached out and, with a touch like a cool feather, traced the line of Agnese’s collarbone through her shirt. Agnese flinched as if scalded. “Let us show you another currency. Not memory. Not conviction. Something more… immediate.”
Before Agnese could protest, Isabella’s fingers hooked into the neckline of her shirt and thermal top, and pulled down, not violently, but with an inexorable pressure. The cool night air hit Agnese’s bare skin, her small, modest breasts exposed to the moonlight and the two women’s flat, appraising stares. A gasp ripped from her throat—part shock, part utter vulnerability.
“Don’t you fucking touch her!” Michela roared, lunging forward, but Olivia was there, an immovable wall of chill flesh and terrifying strength. Olivia’s arm wrapped around Michela’s chest from behind, pinning her, while her other hand yanked Michela’s hiking pants and leggings down over the muscular curve of her ass in one brutal, efficient motion.
“Stop struggling,” Olivia whispered into Michela’s ear, her voice a subsonic command. “You want to see. You want to know. This is knowing.”
Agnese tried to cover herself, but Isabella caught her wrists, her grip stronger than stone. “Look at her,” Isabella commanded, forcing Agnese to look at Michela, pinned, half-naked, her face a mask of fury and humiliation. “Look at her body, the body she’s built. All that work, that discipline. For what? To stand in the woods, exposed and ashamed of what she doesn’t have?”
Isabella released one of Agnese’s wrists and brought her hand to Agnese’s bare breast. Her touch was clinical at first, then deliberately, devastatingly sensual. Her thumb circled the nipple, which pebbled tight against the cold and the violation. “You hate girls like me,” Isabella breathed, leaning in, her lips brushing Agnese’s ear. “But you dream of these, don’t you? The weight of them. The way they change the balance of a room. The way men’s eyes catch and stick. The power of it.”
Agnese squeezed her eyes shut, a tear of shame tracking hot down her cheek. The touch was an abomination. It was also, sickeningly, lighting pathways in her body she had ignored for years. Her breath hitched.
“Open your eyes,” Isabella ordered. When Agnese didn’t comply, Isabella pinched her nipple, hard. A sharp, bright pain-pleasure shot through her, and her eyes flew open.
Meanwhile, Olivia had spun Michela around. She kicked Michela’s legs wider apart, holding her in place with a hand fisted in her long blonde hair. With her other hand, she reached around and cupped Michela between her legs from behind. Michela jerked, a strangled sound escaping her.
“All this tight, fierce strength,” Olivia mused, her fingers pressing, exploring through the thin fabric of Michela’s underwear. “And so wet already. For me? Or for the idea of it? For the surrender?”
“Go to hell,” Michela spat, but her hips gave an infinitesimal, traitorous jerk against the pressure.
“We are already there, darling. And it’s so very comfortable,” Olivia said, and her fingers slid under the waistband, into the hot, slick flesh beneath. Michela cried out, a sound of pure outrage that twisted into something else as Olivia’s expert fingers found her clit, circling with a merciless, knowing rhythm.
Isabella watched Agnese’s face, seeing the conflict, the horror, the unwanted flicker of arousal. She bent her head and took Agnese’s other nipple into her mouth.
The sensation was electric, a bolt of pure, carnal lightning that bypassed Agnese’s mind entirely. Isabella’s tongue was hot, rough, swirling, her teeth grazing with just enough threat. Agnese’s knees buckled. Isabella held her up, sucking harder, lavishing attention on her small breast with a devotional intensity that was somehow more degrading than indifference.
“See?” Isabella murmured, pulling away with a wet, obscene sound. “The body wants what it wants. It doesn’t care about your pamphlets. It doesn’t care about your principles. It cares about sensation. About being seen. About being wanted.”
She shoved Agnese backward. Agnese stumbled, the backs of her knees hitting the moss-covered stone of the plinth. She fell onto it, the cold, damp moss a shock against her bare back. Isabella climbed over her, a predatory goddess in the moonlight. She didn’t undress. She simply opened the tie of her bikini bottoms and guided Agnese’s hand between her own legs.
“Feel,” Isabella commanded, forcing Agnese’s fingers inside her. She was already soaked, hot, impossibly ready. “This is the power you deny yourself. This is the attention. It is a language. And you are illiterate.”
Agnese’s fingers were inside this stranger, this beautiful monster. The sensation was overwhelming—the intimate, wet heat, the muscular clench, the sheer, debasing reality of it. She felt her own body responding, a deep, aching throb building between her own legs.
Across the clearing, Olivia had forced Michela onto her hands and knees on the moss. She had Michela’s pants tangled around her thighs, her ass exposed, her face pressed into the wet green. Olivia knelt behind her, one hand splayed on the small of Michela’s back, holding her down.
“You worship this ass,” Olivia said, delivering a sharp, stinging slap to the rounded flesh. It jiggled, a perfect, strong curve. Michela yelped. “You build it, you showcase it, you think it’s a consolation prize.” Another slap, harder. A red handprint bloomed. “But you want the whole fucking package. You want the tits to match. Admit it.”
“Fuck you,” Michela sobbed, but she pushed her ass back, into the contact, into the shame.
“Oh, I will,” Olivia purred. She produced a small, ornate vial from nowhere, slicked her fingers with an oil that smelled of sea salt and myrrh, and without ceremony, pushed two fingers into Michela from behind.Michela screamed. It was a raw, open sound that ripped through the night. It wasn't just pain. It was the sound of her rigid control shattering. Olivia worked her fingers, scissoring them, stretching her. “Such a tight, angry little cunt,” Olivia observed, her voice bored, clinical. “So much tension. Let’s see if we can fuck it out of you.”
She withdrew her fingers and positioned herself. With one hard, relentless thrust, she buried herself inside Michela.
The sound Michela made was swallowed by the moss. Her body arched, strained, then collapsed, accepting the invasion. Olivia set a brutal, punishing pace, each thrust jarring Michela forward. “This is what you want,” Olivia grunted, her own composure slipping into raw, physical dominance. “To be filled. To be overwhelmed. To stop thinking. To just be a body. A beautiful, fuckable body.”
On the plinth, Isabella had shifted. She released Agnese’s hand, now slick with her own fluids, and brought it to Agnese’s mouth. “Taste it,” she insisted, smearing it over Agnese’s lips. “Taste the power.” The flavor was musky, alien. Agnese, tears streaming, opened her mouth. She sucked her own fingers clean, the act a final, gutting surrender.
Isabella smiled, a victor’s smile. She undid Agnese’s pants, yanking them down with her underwear. She positioned herself between Agnese’s spread legs. “This isn’t a trade of memories,” Isabella whispered, lowering herself. “This is a trade of pride. Your precious, brittle pride for a preview. A sample.”
She didn’t use her fingers. She lowered her mouth to Agnese’s cunt and began to eat her out with a ruthless, focused expertise.
Agnese’s head slammed back against the stone. Every nerve, every filament of her being, was concentrated on that point of contact. Isabella’s tongue was a fucking weapon, licking, sucking, plunging inside her. It was blasphemy. It was revelation. The complex knot of her feminism, her envy, her identity—it all unraveled under the relentless assault of sensation. She came, hard and sudden, a silent, screaming convulsion that shook her to her core. Isabella drank it down, not letting up, pushing her through the peak and into a second, more terrifying wave of pleasure.
In the moss, Michela was sobbing openly, her body moving in frantic rhythm with Olivia’s relentless thrusts. The pain had melted, transformed into a deep, grinding fullness that tipped into something else. Her own climax was torn from her, a brutal, unwanted thing that wracked her body, leaving her limp and shaking as Olivia continued to pound into her, chasing her own finish with grim efficiency.
The clearing was filled with the sounds of it: wet flesh, ragged breath, choked sobs, and the low, satisfied hum of the stones.
Finally, it stopped.
Olivia pulled out of Michela with a slick, final sound. She stood, rearranging her linen wrap, as composed as if she’d just taken a stroll. Michela lay collapsed, her face hidden, her body trembling violently in the aftermath.
Isabella lifted her head from between Agnese’s thighs. She licked her lips slowly, savagely. Agnese lay spent, hollowed out, staring at the jagged arches cutting the starless sky.
Isabella stood, looking down at both of them, broken and exposed on the moss and stone. “The offer remains,” she said, her voice once more smooth, melodic. “But now you understand the true nature of the transaction. It’s not about taking. It’s about wanting. And you,” she said, her gaze sweeping over their ravaged forms, “want so very, very much.”
She collected her shawl.Olivia joined her. Together, they melted back into the deeper shadows of the temple ruins, leaving the two women alone in the moonlit clearing, stained with sweat and salt and the undeniable, horrifying truth of their own hunger.
The whispering in the stones grew louder, sweeter. It sounded like laughter.
The laughter in the stones faded into the hum, leaving only the ragged sounds of their breathing. Agnese felt scraped raw, her body a foreign landscape of aches and shameful, residual tremors. She fumbled for her clothes, her fingers numb and clumsy on the wet fabric.
Michela was a motionless heap a few yards away. Then she jerked, a violent spasm, and scrambled to pull her leggings up. She wouldn’t look at Agnese. The air between them was fractured, thick with unspeakable things.
“We need to go. Now.” Michela’s voice was a shredded rasp. She stood, wobbled, and took an unsteady step toward the tree line.
“You won’t get far on those legs.” The voice came from behind them, from the darkest seam of the ruins. Isabella emerged, not from the shadows, but composed from them. Olivia materialized beside her. They were different now. Their earlier predatory stillness was replaced by a languid, post-coital glow, a shared secret curling at the edges of their mouths.
“We’re leaving,” Agnese stated, forcing steel into her hollowed-out tone. She stood, buttoning her jeans, refusing to let her hands shake.
“Of course you are,” Olivia said, her ocean eyes fixed on Agnese with renewed, terrible interest. “But the gate is still open. The appetite, once woken, is so very hard to put back to sleep.” She took a slow step forward. Isabella mirrored her, circling toward Michela with the grace of a stalking cat. “It learned your taste. Both of your distinct, delicious flavors.”
Isabella stopped in front of Michela, who stood frozen, defiance and terror warring in her eyes. “You,” Isabella purred, reaching out to tuck a sweat-damp strand of Michela’s hair behind her ear. Michela flinched. “So much noise in that strong little body. So much fight. It’s exhausting, isn’t it?”
“Don’t touch me,” Michela whispered, the command having no force.
“But you liked it when I touched you,” Isabella whispered back. Her hands came up, not to Michela’s face, but to the tie of her own bikini top. She pulled the knot slowly, deliberately. The fabric fell away.
Michela’s breath hitched. In the cold moonlight, Isabella’s breasts were perfect, high, voluptuous curves. The nipples were pale pink, erect in the night air. They were utterly, devastatingly ideal. The fantasy given form.
“Look at them,” Isabella murmured, cupping her own flesh, lifting it slightly. The movement was obscenely casual. “This is what you picture in the gym, isn’t it? When you’re pounding out another set, building this magnificent ass,” one hand slid back to squeeze Michela’s buttock, making her jump, “you’re picturing this on top of it. The complete fucking picture.”
She took Michela’s limp wrist. “Touch them.”
“No,” Michela breathed, trying to pull back. Isabella’s grip was iron.
“Touch. Them.” Isabella’s voice lost its purr, becoming a blade. She pressed Michela’s palm flat against the swell of her right breast.
The sensation was a shock. It was warm, impossibly soft, yet unnaturally firm. There was a resilient, solid roundness beneath the skin that felt nothing like real flesh. Michela’s fingers spasmed. She wanted to recoil. She wanted to squeeze. A choked sound escaped her throat.
“They’re not real,” Isabella whispered, leaning close. “They’re saline and silicone. A lie sculpted by a surgeon’s knife.” She moved Michela’s hand, making her knead the implant.“Feel that? The perfect, fake curve. The promise that’s just a plastic bag. This is what you’re killing yourself for. This illusion.”
Across the clearing, Olivia had closed the distance to Agnese. Her approach was quieter, more direct. She didn’t speak. She simply took Agnese’s hand in her own cool one and placed it on her own bare chest.
Agnese’s fingertips met the same shocking perfection. Olivia’s breasts were slightly smaller than Isabella’s, but just as flawlessly shaped, with a pert, gravity-defying fullness. The skin was cool silk over unyielding substrate.
“Go on,” Olivia said, her voice low. “Explore the merchandise. You’ve been comparing yourself to it for years. Here it is. Get your fill.”
Agnese’s hand, as if disconnected from her will, curled. Her fingers sank into the pliant outer layer, then met the immutable core. It was a sickening violation. It was a revelation. This was the enemy. This firm, alien, beautiful object.
“They’re glorious, aren’t they?” Olivia mused, watching Agnese’s face. “And they’re complete fucking frauds. Just like the confidence that comes with them.A purchased truth. And you want it. You want the fraud so badly you can taste the saline.”
She guided Agnese’s hand roughly over the contour, over the nipple. “This is what wins. This fabrication. This simple, stupid trick. And you, with all your books and your principles, you’d trade a piece of your brilliant mind to have it.”
Agnese wanted to vomit. She wanted to weep. Her thumb rubbed a stiff peak, and a jolt of something electric and hateful shot through her.
“Now you know the material,” Isabella said to Michela, releasing her wrist as if it were trash. Michela’s hand dropped to her side, fingers still curled, remembering the shape. “You’ve felt the cheap prize. The question is, what cheap part of yourself will you trade for it?”
The sirens stepped back, covering themselves again with an air of finality. The transaction was complete. Not of souls, but of understanding. They had forced the object of coveted hatred into their hands, made them intimately familiar with its tempting, hollow reality.
“The path will be clear now,” Olivia said, nodding toward the woods. “For a time. The stones are… sated, for the moment. They have fed on your shame. It is a rich meal.”
“Go home,” Isabella added, her smile benevolent and cruel. “Look in your mirrors. And know exactly what is staring back. A woman who has touched her deepest want and found it to be plastic. We will be here when the knowing becomes too much to bear.”
The women turned and disappeared into the black mouth of the temple ruins. This time, they did not melt away. They were simply gone.
The humming stopped. The forest night sounds rushed back in—crickets, the rustle of a night creature, the distant hoot of an owl. The normalcy was a slap.
Agnese and Michela stood in the clearing, miles apart. They could not look at each other. The memory of the other’s violation was a mirror to their own. The feel of those perfect, fake breasts was seared into their palms, a brand.
Without a word, they turned and stumbled toward the tree line, into the dark, away from the temple. They walked separately, a chasm of unspeakable experience between them. The only sound was their ragged breathing and the crunch of leaves underfoot.
Behind them, the jagged arches stood silent against the sky. Waiting. The air no longer hummed. It simply held the lingering, salt-and-jasmine scent of their own surrender, and the cold, hard knowledge of what they now carried in their hands, and in their heads.
