A guy in college living with his unreasonably loyal 7 friends learns that magic is real and he has to protect them from it

Chapter 2: Start

A gentle breeze rustled the first leaves of autumn, and Marco paused at the end of the driveway to pull on a hoodie. The sweatshirt was a deep, vivid blue, a shade that made his eyes seem even more intense. The sweater was new, or at least it had been new when he bought it last week. It didn't matter. Even with the patches on the elbows and stains on the front, it was a damn sight better than the hoodie he'd been wearing for the past few months.

He glanced back at the house, a three-story brick colonial. The trees and shrubs that surrounded it hid most of the house from view, making it seem secluded and mysterious. He liked that. When he'd first seen it, he'd thought it was too big, too pretentious. But then he'd gone inside and seen the library.

It was the kind of room he'd always dreamed of having, with floor-to-ceiling shelves filled with books, and a ladder that slid along the wall. The room was big enough for a couch, too, and that's where he was headed now. He pushed open the heavy wooden door and stepped inside.

The couch was soft and comfortable, and Marco sank into it with a sigh of relief. He pulled out his phone and checked for messages, but there was nothing new. With a shrug, he set the phone aside and leaned back against the cushions. He closed his eyes and let his thoughts drift.

He had no idea how long he sat there before he heard the door open again. He opened his eyes and turned his head. There they were, his girls, the ones he'd been waiting for.

The first one through the door was July, the older sister. She was wearing skintight short jeans and a black tank top, and she had her black hair in a cute curly messy bob. She looked every inch the badass she was.

The second one through the door was May, the younger sister. She was wearing a long, skintight short jeans ans well and a white blouse, and she had her white hair in a cute curly messy bob. She looked every inch the innocent girl-next-door she was.

But Marco knew better.

Both girls had a wild streak that ran deep, and that was one of the things he loved about them. They were fierce and independent, and they lived life on their own terms, except when it came to Marco. They were the kind of friends he'd always wanted, and the kind he knew he could count on, no matter what.

The girls made their way over to the couch and sat on his lap. July leaned back and stretched out her legs, while May curled up next to him, with her head on his shoulder, nuzzling into his neck. July looked at him and smiled.

"Hey, you."

Marco grinned. "Hey, yourself. I didn't hear you pull up."

"That's because I parked in the garage," she said. "I didn't want to wake you up."

"As if that would ever happen," Marco said with a snort. "You know I can sleep through anything."

"Maybe so," July said. "But I don't want to take any chances with May's snoring."

May glared at her sister but didn't say anything.

Instead, she nuzzled even closer to Marco and closed her eyes. He could feel her breath on his neck, hot and fast, and he knew that she was already on the verge of sleep.

He wrapped his arms around both of them, holding them close, and let his thoughts drift again. He knew that he was lucky to have such good friends, and he never took them for granted. He also knew that they were lucky to have him, too.

May began to kiss his neck.

He felt his body react to her touch, his heart rate quickening and his skin tingling. Marco couldn't help but smile. He had always had a soft spot for May, and she knew it. But he didn't mind. It was one of the things he loved about their friendship, the way they could be so comfortable and natural with each other.

As May continued to kiss his neck, July leaned in and whispered, "We missed you at the game last night. Where did you disappear to?"

Marco chuckled. "I had some things to take care of," he said massaging Julie’s chest like he usually does.

"You know how it is."

"Yeah, I guess," July said with a sigh. "But it's not the same without you there. We need you on our team."

"I'll be there next time," he said, kissing her forehead. "I promise."

Just then, they heard the door open again, and they all turned to see who it was. It was her, the one who always seemed to be in the background, but never really a part of their group. The one who had been orphaned and grown up with Marco.

The one who had been alone and unpopular all her life until Marco had invited her to play D&D. She was wearing her usual attire, a blue and white sundress and round glasses, with her black hair a mess with large bangs covering her cute face. She looked like she always did, a little guarded and a little wary, as if she were expecting the worst at any moment.

She paused just inside the doorway, her eyes scanning the room before settling on the three of them.

She didn't say anything, but Marco could see the relief in her eyes when she realized it was just the three of them.

He smiled at her, and she smiled back, but then her eyes widened, and she looked down. He followed her gaze and saw that the blanket that covered the lower half of his body had shifted, revealing the growing bulge in his pants.

“Your hands seem full. I’ll join next time.” She said , and entered the room, shutting the door behind her. Marco’s heartbeat quickened as he realized she was going to stay and hang out with them.

He wasn’t sure if it was the thought of having her join them, or the fact that she had just seen his arousal, but either way, he couldn't deny that he was excited.

He cleared his throat and shifted awkwardly, trying to adjust himself without being too obvious.

"Hey," he said, trying to sound casual. "Glad you could make it. We were just hanging out."

She nodded and walked over him slowly. Marco could feel the heat from her body as she got on her knees in front of him and placed her hand on his thigh. Her eyes were locked on his, and he could see the desire in them. She leaned in and kissed him, and he could feel the tension in her body, the way she was holding herself back.

He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer, deepening the kiss. He could feel her shaking, the way she was trying to hold herself back, and he knew that she wanted him just as much as he wanted her.

He ran his hands through her hair, pulling her closer still, and she responded by pressing herself against him. He could feel her breasts against his chest, and he could feel her nipples hardening through the thin fabric of her dress.

He reached down and slid his hand up her thigh, feeling the warmth of her skin through the thin fabric of her dress. He could feel her trembling, the way she was trying to hold herself back, and he knew that she wanted him just as much as he wanted her.

He broke the kiss and looked at her, and she looked back at him, her eyes wide and dark with desire.

May leaned in stealing the next kiss from Tina. July fingers slid up Tina’s thigh and under her dress.

She was met with wetness. July groaned, "Fuck, Tina, you're soaked."

Tina moaned against Marco's lips, her body trembling as July's fingers explored her folds. Marco could feel her wetness through his pants, and he knew that he had to have her.

"Get on your knees, Tina," he growled, his voice husky with desire.

Tina did as she was told, sinking to her knees in front of him.
