Mary was on her last legs. She'd been shot in the stomach, her arm, and her leg. She was bleeding out. A moan escaped her lips as she coughed, blood and stomach bile mixing in her mouth. The world dimmed as her eyes shut, pain lacing her vision like a spider's web.
