Chapter 8: Retreat Ends
Lucius and the leadership team members were ecstatic to have pulled off a fantastic young adult retreat, one free from the cruel, ulterior motives of Pastor Michael and his like. They’d taught all the Christian young adults about desire, sexual and emotional safety, and all sorts of admittedly unorthodox lessons for a Christian retreat.
By the end of the two weeks, the formerly repressed 18-21 year old attendees had a new sense of what adulthood could look like for them. Once, a whole group of purity driven individuals who had resigned themselves to never being themselves and finding a boring, safe marriage. Now they were an eclectic mix of sexual submissives, slutty femboys, kinky cat girls, and horny sluts, as well, Lucius had specifically taken the few with truly dominant desires under his wings, helping them learn how to safely and consensually break down and pleasure their submissives, even giving the queer ones an innate sense of which repressed ‘straight’ people around them were most needing to be forced into a gay, slutty lifestyle change.
As the last of the attendees left the campground, Nora, Lucius, Sarah Lynn, Jason, and Dani looked around at the transformed camp. It was no longer the repressive, conservative retreat it once was. Instead, it was a vibrant, sex-positive community where people of all ages and orientations could express themselves freely and safely.
Lucius smiled, his golden cat eyes scanning the camp. "Well, my pets, it seems that our work here is done. And what a job we've done, wouldn't you say?" he purred, his tail wrapping around Nora's waist, pulling her close to his side.
"You have all worked so hard, and it shows. This place is a beacon of hope and freedom now, a sanctuary for those who struggle with their desires and identities. I am proud of each and every one of you."
Sarah Lynn beamed with pride, her arms wrapped around Jason's waist. "It's been an incredible journey. I never thought I'd see the day when our camp would become a place like this. It's truly magical."
Jason nodded in agreement, his eyes reflecting the same sense of pride and accomplishment. "It's been a lot of work, but it's been worth it.
We've helped so many people find themselves and their happiness," Nora agreed, her voice filled with emotion. She looked up at Lucius, her eyes shining with unshed tears. "And we couldn't have done it without you, Master. Thank you for everything."
“It was my pleasure to help you all. I am proud of what we have achieved together." He turned to the group, his tail swishing gently behind him. "But now, it’s over… I suppose. And you’ll all go back to your lives, though hopefully you’ll continue to live them in the manner I’ve taught you.” He spoke gently, though it was clear he had a touch of unspoken uncertainty.
They all had lives to return to, but Luci didn’t, not really. His life was one led by moving place to place, he’d never been the sort to settle down. But he’d also never gotten attached to a group of his projects, never considered them… friends, or even more. This was different for him, but he had no intention of forcing them to leave their lives nor any presumption that they’d want to continue having a demon in their lives. For as fond of them as he’d grown, he would not force his presence into their lives.
They were all adults, capable of making their own choices. If he was unwanted, he would not fight them on it. "I'm going to miss you all, having you by my side. I didn’t expect this retreat to have such a profound impact upon my life but it certainly has. Thank you for that, for having me in your lives, even if just for this short time.” The normally confident demon spoken soft and wistfully, intentionally avoiding any eye contact. He wanted to ask them to keep him in their lives, to want to be a part of his, but he feared they’d accept only out of politeness or a desire to please him, or worse, fear. He didn’t want their lives to be ruined by ill-advised decisions made in a heat of the moment.
Nora’s hand gently squeezed his. She looked up at him, her eyes soft and kind. “Master, we’re not going to forget you just because the retreat is over. You’re a part of our lives now, whether you stay or go. That isn’t something that can just be erased.”
Sarah Lynn nodded in agreement, her eyes shining brightly.
"Absolutely. You've changed our lives, Lucius. We'll never forget you, and we wouldn't want to. You're... you're family now."
Dani, who had been quietly observing the exchange, chimed in, her voice soft but resolute. "Yeah, Luci. You're like, our big, demonic daddy, and we love you for it. Like, you’ve taught us so much, shown us so much, and given us all the tools we need to be happy and free.
Like, we can't just forget that, nor do we want to." Dani finished, her voice filled with emotion.
Lucius looked down at them, his golden cat eyes welling up with unshed tears. He had never expected this, never imagined that his pets would come to care for him so deeply. He had always been alone, moving from place to place, never settling down, never letting anyone get too close. But these four had broken down his walls, had shown him that there was more to life than just his mission. That there was love, and friendship, and family.
"I...
I don't know what to say," Lucius stammered, his voice thick with emotion. He looked down at the hands that gently squeezed his, his tail coiling around them protectively. He had never felt this way before, never been so deeply moved by words.
Nora looked up at him, her eyes filled with understanding and love. "You don't have to say anything, Master. Just know that we care about you, and we want you in our lives."
Lucius nodded, his tail tightening around their hands as he leaned down to softly kiss each of their foreheads in turn. I care about you too.
More than words can express. I had never expected to find such... warmth. Such connection. Such love,” Lucius whispered, his voice thick with emotion. He pulled back, his tail unraveling from their hands, but his arms remained wrapped around their waists, holding them close.
“So what happens now? What do we do?” Jason asked, his voice filled with a mix of anticipation and uncertainty.
Lucius looked at each of them in turn, his golden cat eyes shining with determination. “Now, we build on what we’ve started here. We continue to spread love, acceptance, and freedom. Your church’s organization may have been deeply corrupted but it’s clear from you all that your congregation is full of good people, people who deserve a place they can go to, a community they can trust. I’d been thinking, perhaps you all should give them that, replicate what we’ve done here with your community back home. Jason, I presume you’ll be taking over as head pastor now that Pastor Michael is handled, and I think you all are capable of making a great difference in your home community.” Luci offered, hoping to continue the more positive path he’d started. “I can help, if you want. I can give you guidance, maybe help find ways to fund the new community center, and even help find more mentors like me to help with the new programs. I could come by from time to time too, maybe lead some workshops or retreats.”
Sarah Lynn’s eyes lit up at the idea, “That would be amazing, Luci! Thank you so much.”
Jason nodded in agreement, “Yes, that would be incredible. We could use all the help we can get to make this a reality.”
Lucius smiled, happy to see his offer accepted and appreciated.
“I’m glad you think so. I think it could be a wonderful way to continue the work we’ve started here. And who knows, perhaps we could even expand beyond your own community, reach out to other areas, help them build similar communities focused on love, acceptance, and freedom.”
Dani clapped her hands excitedly, her eyes shining with anticipation. “Oh, that would be amazing! I’d love to help with that, like, I could totally be like a workshop leader or something. I’d be like, the sex-ed teacher and kink educator, you know?”
Nora laughed softly, her eyes twinkling with amusement.
"I can just see it now, Dani leading a workshop on 'Kink 101 for the Curious Christian.' It's gonna be a hit!"
Dani grinned widely, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "Right?! I mean, think about it, all those repressed kids just waiting to explore and express themselves. And who better to guide them than someone who's been there, done that, and got the t-shirt?"
Lucius chuckled, his tail swishing gently behind him. "Well, I must say, that does sound like an... interesting workshop. But before we get ahead of ourselves, let's focus on the task at hand.
