Chapter 2: Preparations
Over the next few days, Henry tried to act natural around Carl, going about their daily routine. He occasionally let slip a knowing smirk, hinting that he knew Carl's deepest secret. Each time, he observed the flashes of panic in Carl's eyes before being replaced by guarded curiosity.
Henry felt a strange tension building between them as he suppressed his urges to bring up the topic, waiting for the right moment. Carl, too, seemed hesitant to broach the subject, and their once comfortable companionship grew fraught with awkward glances and unspoken words.
But every now and then, Henry would catch Carl stealing surreptitious peeks at him, a curious glint in his eyes.
Henry dreamed about taking charge, commanding Carl's full submission and devotion. He envisioned nights filled with the allure of manacled wrists, tender whispers exchanged in hushed tones, and bodies intertwined. It was a tantalizing possibility, one he wanted to explore, but he needed to ensure it was something Carl desired as well.
Tensions rose in their shared dorm room.
Each passing day, the stories Carl wrote seemed to possess a more potent fervor. Something deep within Henry knew that it was time to confront Carl about what he had discovered on his laptop during the late-night study session.
One evening, about two weeks after his initial discovery, Henry decided it was time. In the middle of the night while Carl was deep asleep, Henry ventured online and secretly ordered a substantial collection of adult toys, bondage items, lingerie and feminine attire, and fetish gear that would help bring their now shared fantasies to life.
His heart raced as he clicked "Confirm Order" for the bundle from a discreet online shop, unable to shake off the excitement bubbling inside him. The anticipation was unbearable; every moment felt like an eternity waiting for the package to arrive.
When it finally did about another awkwardly tension filled week later, Henry carefully hid the black box under his bed, between two concealing stacks of clothes. He was relieved that Carl hadn't come back to the room early, but at the same time, Henry wanted nothing more than to tear the package open and revel in the contents.
The day dragged on, and Henry found himself struggling to concentrate on the lecture, just feeling desperate to embark on their new deviant adventures together.
When Carl finally came back to the room that evening, Henry felt his nerves ignite. But with time, Henry's anticipation slowly dissolved into witty, real-life banter, as they talked about everything but their tantalising hidden desires.
As the night went on and they even found themselves bickering about the latest world events and which college sports team was superior — being as competitive as always — Henry knew that whether they broached the forbidden matter or not, they'd never let it soak up the joy in their friendship.
He also knew though that this could not wait, he had to bring this secret out in the open soon or it was going to consume him. His plan had to be put into action tomorrow, it was time.
