Chapter 1: Restrained and Ready
The stainless steel operating table felt like ice beneath Reece’s naked skin. He shivered violently, the tremors starting deep in his belly and radiating outwards, making the thin paper gown rustle uselessly around his hips. Above him, the large, circular OR light glared down, a cold, unblinking eye. The air hummed with the low thrum of machinery and the sharp, clean scent of antiseptic that couldn't quite mask the underlying metallic tang. It was sterile. Efficient. Terrifying. Exactly how he’d imagined it. Exactly how he’d begged them to make it.
“Cold, champ?” Daniel’s voice, low and playful, cut through the sterile quiet. He stood near Reece’s feet, adjusting a gleaming IV stand, his tall frame looking entirely at home in the blue scrubs. His dark eyes held a familiar spark of daring, one Reece knew well from countless late-night conversations and shared secrets. Now, that spark was focused entirely on him, pinned beneath the unforgiving lights.
Reece tried to nod, but the movement felt jerky, uncontrolled. His throat clicked dryly. “F-freezing,” he managed, his voice barely a whisper.
“Good,” Daniel murmured, a smirk playing on his lips. He moved closer, his movements deliberate. He picked up a thick, padded leather restraint. “Helps with the… realism.” He leaned over Reece’s left arm, his biceps flexing under the thin scrub material as he began securing the strap around Reece’s wrist. The buckle clicked shut with a sound that echoed far too loudly in the quiet room. Solid. Final. “Just like we discussed, right, Reece? Pre-op cocktail, then lights out. Nothing to worry about.” His fingers lingered on Reece’s pulse point for a second, feeling the frantic flutter beneath the skin. “Elevated, though. Excited?”
Before Reece could formulate a response, the door hissed softly open. Kennedy strode in, her long blonde hair pulled back in a severe ponytail, her blue eyes sharp and assessing behind thin-framed glasses that perched low on her nose – purely for effect, Reece knew. She scanned the room, her gaze landing on Reece, pinned and trembling.
“Vitals stable?” Her voice was crisp, professional, but a hint of amusement danced in her eyes. She walked to the opposite side of the table, her movements efficient as she checked the monitors displaying Reece’s skyrocketing heart rate and shallow breaths.
“Like a rabbit in headlights,” Daniel answered smoothly, moving to secure Reece’s other wrist. “Primed and prepped.”
Kennedy leaned over Reece, her presence close, invasive. The scent of her perfume – something warm and subtly floral – clashed oddly with the antiseptic. “Nervous?” she asked, tilting her head. Her voice had dropped, losing its clinical edge, becoming softer, more intimate. “Don’t be. We’ve got you. We know exactly what you need.”
Reece swallowed hard, his eyes darting between their faces. The sheer audacity of what they were doing, right here in the OR they used for actual procedures, sent another wave of tremors through him. The stark white tiles, the gleaming instruments on a nearby tray, the quiet whir of the ventilator – it all screamed real, stripping away any pretense of fantasy. This was the fantasy. The ultimate surrender of control.
Daniel finished the last wrist restraint, his fingers brushing the sensitive skin on the inside of Reece’s forearm, sending an involuntary jolt through him. Then he moved down to Reece’s ankles. He lifted Reece’s left foot, the sole pale and exposed. Reece tensed, sucking in a sharp breath.
“Easy,” Daniel soothed, though his eyes held a predatory gleam. He buckled the padded cuff securely around Reece’s ankle, the leather cool against his skin. He repeated the process with the right foot, pulling the strap tighter than necessary. Reece’s feet were now held apart, vulnerable, the soles turned slightly upwards. Daniel paused, one hand resting possessively on Reece’s bare calf. He leaned in close, his breath warm against Reece’s ear, his voice dropping to a low, conspiratorial murmur pitched just for him, beneath the hum of the machines.
“These,” Daniel whispered, his gaze fixed on Reece’s soles, “are going to feel amazing wrapped around my cock the second those drugs kick in. Think about that while you’re drifting under, Reece. Think about how thick I am, how I’m going to slide right between them while you’re completely out. Helpless. You’re gonna wake up so damn sticky. Wonder if you’ll dream of it?” His thumb rubbed a slow circle on Reece’s calf muscle, a possessive, grounding pressure that was somehow both threatening and intensely erotic. Reece whimpered, a small, helpless sound escaping his lips. The image Daniel painted sent a molten rush straight to his core, warring violently with the primal fear of unconsciousness.
Kennedy chuckled softly from her position near Reece’s head. “Stealing the spotlight already, Daniel?” She placed her hand lightly on Reece’s chest, right over his pounding heart. “Don’t forget who he begged to taste first.” Her voice was honey-sweet, laced with promise.
Reece’s eyes snapped to her, wide and pleading. Kennedy met his gaze, a slow, knowing smile spreading across her face. Then, with deliberate slowness, she lifted one bare foot onto the edge of the surgical table near Reece’s shoulder. She’d kicked off her clogs. Her toenails were painted a deep, gleaming crimson. She wiggled them playfully.
“Open wide, sleepyhead,” she murmured, her voice dropping back into that intimate, smoky register. She moved her foot closer, the sole hovering mere inches from Reece’s face. It smelled faintly of clean skin and the vinyl of the OR floor, an intoxicatingly forbidden scent in this setting. Her big toe brushed lightly, teasingly, against his lower lip. “Give me something wet to remember you by before you go night-night.” She traced the curve of his lip. “Promise you’ll wake up satisfied. Or… maybe just sticky.” She grinned wickedly.
Reece’s breath hitched. His lips parted instinctively under the gentle, insistent pressure of her toe. The coolness of her skin against his mouth, the slight saltiness, the sheer taboo of it happening here, now, while Daniel secured his other ankle – it was overwhelming. His tongue darted out nervously, tasting the cool skin, a silent, involuntary plea. He could feel Daniel’s intense gaze on him, watching him submit to Kennedy’s foot.
Kennedy hummed approvingly, pressing her toe a little more firmly against his lips. “Good boy. Just like that. Keep those pretty lips ready.”
Daniel straightened up, giving the ankle restraint one final, firm tug. He met Reece’s wide, hazy eyes. “Ready for the good stuff?” he asked, his voice still low and thick with intent. He picked up a large syringe filled with a clear liquid – the propofol, Reece knew, the milky-white agent they jokingly called “milk of amnesia”. Daniel tapped the syringe, sending tiny bubbles swirling. The fluorescent light caught the liquid inside, making it look deceptively innocent. “Count backwards from ten, Reece. Nice and slow.”
Reece’s heart hammered against his ribs like a trapped bird. Panic and arousal warred, twisting his gut. He felt Kennedy’s toe still resting possessively on his lip, a constant, grounding pressure. Daniel’s words echoed in his head – thick cock sliding between your bare soles. The cold air bit his exposed skin. The antiseptic smell burned his nostrils. He opened his mouth, trying to form the first number, but his throat seized. The crimson-painted toenail pressed gently against his teeth.
Kennedy leaned closer, her breath mingling with his. Her eyes locked onto his, intense, commanding. “Ten,” she prompted softly, her voice the only anchor in the swirling chaos of sensation and fear. “Show me how badly you want to forget. How badly you want to wake up… changed.”
Reece dragged in a ragged breath. His lips moved, forming the word silently against Kennedy’s toe. Ten. He could feel the slight tremor in her foot pressed to his face, or was it his own trembling? Daniel moved alongside him, positioning the syringe near the IV port taped securely to the back of Reece’s hand. The glint of the needle was sharp, terrifying. The cool plastic of the port pressed against his skin.
“Nine,” Reece whispered, the sound thin and shaky, muffled against Kennedy’s skin. The world seemed to narrow – the blinding light, the cold steel beneath him, the scent of disinfectant and Kennedy, the pressure of her toe, the looming shadow of Daniel and the syringe. Reality started to fray at the edges, dissolving even before the drug entered his bloodstream, replaced by the terrifying, exhilarating promise of surrender. The last coherent thought was the phantom sensation Daniel had described – the impossible heat and slide between his helpless, restrained feet – followed by the overwhelming need to taste more of the cool, forbidden skin against his lips as the cold fire of the drug hit his vein and the lights began to swim.
The word dissolved on his tongue, lost in the taste of Kennedy’s skin and the sudden, icy invasion flooding up his arm. Propofol. Cold fire indeed. It raced through his veins, a shocking counterpoint to the heat blooming low in his belly. His vision didn't just swim; it fractured. The blinding OR light splintered into a dozen shimmering orbs, Kennedy’s face above him smearing like wet paint, her crimson toenail a blur against his lip. Daniel’s dark silhouette near his feet became a shifting shadow, impossibly tall.
"Easy, Reece," Kennedy's voice floated down, sounding muffled, distant, like she was speaking through thick glass. Her toe pressed more insistently, a grounding pressure in the swirling chaos. "Just let go. Down you go..."
He tried to cling to consciousness, to the sensation of her skin, to Daniel’s promise hanging thick in the antiseptic air. But the drug was relentless. His eyelids felt like lead weights. The tremor in his limbs intensified, then abruptly stilled, replaced by a terrifying, heavy numbness that spread upwards from his toes. He couldn’t feel the cold steel table anymore. He couldn’t feel the restraints. He could only feel the fading echo of Kennedy’s sole against his mouth and the suffocating wave of nothingness rising to drown him.
Daniel’s low chuckle seemed to vibrate through the floor, resonating in Reece’s bones. "Watch his eyes, Ken. See that flicker? He’s fighting it. Stubborn little thing." A hand, large and warm, closed around Reece’s bare ankle, the touch registering dimly through the chemical haze. "Gonna be so good between these..."
Reece felt a desperate, soundless plea form in his throat. Don’t leave me alone down here. But his tongue was sludge. His lips wouldn’t obey. The world tilted violently. Kennedy’s face swam into view again, closer now, her blue eyes sharp, observant, utterly devoid of the earlier playful malice. Pure clinical assessment.
"Fighting won't help," she murmured, her voice flat, detached. Professional. She leaned over him, her blonde hair a pale curtain momentarily blocking the fracturing light. Her finger touched the IV port taped to his hand, checking the flow. Then, with a movement so practiced it was chilling, she depressed the plunger on the syringe fully. A final, decisive push. "Lights out."
The effect was instantaneous and brutal. The last shreds of resistance shattered. The fractured lights coalesced into a blinding white tunnel, rapidly narrowing. The hum of the machines warped into a low, dissonant drone, then faded to silence. Kennedy’s face, her cool toe, Daniel’s grip on his ankle – all sensations dissolved into a thick, velvety blackness. His last coherent sensation wasn't sight or sound, but a phantom pressure – the imagined, impossible heat and friction Daniel had described, sliding between his utterly vulnerable, restrained feet. A promise imprinted on his vanishing mind.
Then, absolute void.
Kennedy straightened up, pulling her foot away from Reece’s slack mouth. She watched the monitor, the steady beep of the heart rate monitor slowing, the oxygen saturation holding strong. "Vitals stable. He's under." Her voice was crisp, back to business. She capped the empty syringe and placed it on the instrument tray with a soft clink.
Daniel released Reece’s ankle. He moved around the foot of the table, his gaze fixed on Reece’s unconscious face, pale and peaceful beneath the harsh light. A slow, predatory smile spread across Daniel’s face, completely transforming his features. The playful friend was gone. In his place stood something darker, hungrier. He ran a fingertip slowly down the sole of Reece’s bare right foot, watching for any flicker of response. There was none. Utterly pliant.
"Beautiful," Daniel breathed, the word thick with anticipation. He glanced at Kennedy, his dark eyes gleaming. "You seeing this, Ken? Perfectly still. Perfectly... ours." He unfastened the top button of his scrub top. "Time to make good on that promise. He’s gonna wake up with the best kind of confusion." His hand moved to his waistband, his gaze never leaving Reece's exposed feet, the restraints holding them slightly apart. He took a step closer to the end of the table, positioning himself directly between Reece’s soles.
