Chapter 1: Introduction
The tall, wooden sign marking the driveway swung gently in the breeze, "The Forest Villa." The earthy, winding one-lane road eased our car into a peaceful haven, and bright-green ferns and wildflowers danced beneath the sun's dappled light. The dense canopy of the woods surrounded the welcoming cabin—a hideaway blanketed in emerald leaves—almost entirely encircled by a rich, lush wilderness.
Nestled amongst the brush, blooms of every shape and color adorned a patchwork quilt of soft moss and earth. As twilight approached, the forest hummed with life, promising sultry encounters shared between the trees.
Checking in via a lockbox system proved effortlessly discreet, and my boyfriend Thomas eagerly threw his shoulder bag onto the plump sofa while I wheeled our suitcases inside. The cabin had a rustic charm, with its slatted wooden walls and exposed beams.
Our worn footsteps on the reclaimed hardwood floors echoed through the cozy living room, where a big stone fireplace beckoned. We unloaded our cases just as the sun gently kissed the horizon. The last bit of sunlight warmed the cabin, painting it in glorious shades of apricot.
"Markus, do you smell that?" Thomas asked, inhaling deeply.
"Mm, something delicious." I joined him by the front door, just as our nosy neighbors appeared.
Two couples materialized from the dense foliage, seemingly out of nowhere, waving cheerily. Introductions were exchanged; Paul and Alex were the newest additions to our wooded sanctuary. Paul, a charming and friendly man in his late twenties, had dark brown hair and piercing green eyes. Alex, slightly older and more reserved, possessed long black hair, intense blue eyes, and an impressive physique.
The faint scent of musk and sweat emanated from him, a pheromonal whisper that hinted at the pure animalistic nature of his desires.
"I hope we're not intruding," Paul said, grinning mischievously. "Or maybe you're the ones interrupting our peace?"
The two couples shared nervous laughter as we found ourselves in this secluded shared space. Alex's lingering gaze washed over us, an unspoken yearning I couldn't ignore.
I knew instinctively that he and I shared the same carnal desires, and as he swallowed hard, I could see his chest rising and falling with an eager hunger.
"I, um, I was just heading out for a run," Alex stammered. "Care to join me, Markus?"
A bolt of electricity flashed between us, the spark of insatiable curiosity lighting a fire in my loins.
"Forget running—let's explore the woods another way," I murmured.
