In the Star Trek universe, Lieutenant Dr. Glen Campbell is training two curvy and attractive ensigns on his medical team. One is a human and the other is a Bajoran. He takes them to the holodeck and explains this training is about pregnancy, labor and birth. One of them will go through an accelerated 3 hour pregnancy, a normal speed labor and birth. The other will attend the pregnant ensign and medically assist throughout the process. Then they will switch to each others' roles. They draw straws to aee who goes first.

Chapter 2: Fertile Stroll

The holodeck orchard was a masterpiece of sensory deception. Warm, golden light filtered through broad, lazily spinning leaves, dappling the soft grass underfoot. The air itself tasted of honey and sun-warmed bark, carrying the perfume of jasmine from somewhere unseen.A distant waterfall provided a constant, soothing whisper. It was a place for gentle reflection, for quiet talks—not for this.

Tessa moved through it like a ship navigating a treacherous strait. Her world had narrowed to the immense, taut globe of her belly leading her forward, and the deep, grinding ache in her back that the beautiful scenery did nothing to ease. The silky robe drifted around her, occasionally catching on the damp skin of her thighs, occasionally falling open to reveal the full, ripe curve of her abdomen, the skin stretched so tight it shone in the false sunlight. Her breaths were measured, deliberate, each one a conscious effort against the weight anchoring her.Another tightening began. It didn't crest like a wave; it simply arrived, a band of pure, inexorable pressure cinching around the base of her swollen belly and deep into her spine. She stopped, a low groan escaping her as her hands flew to support the underside of the curve. Her knees bent slightly, her whole body bowing to the force within.

“Another one?” Suri’s voice was close, calm. She had been walking a half-step behind, observing Tessa’s gait, the way her pelvis rocked with each step.

Tessa could only nod, her teeth clenched. The contraction built, a peak of intensity that stole the air from her lungs and turned the orchard’s golden light a stark, blinding white behind her eyelids. She reached out blindly, her fingers scraping against rough, warm bark. She leaned into the tree, pressing her forehead against it, the solidness a comfort against the internal earthquake.Suri was there in an instant. Not with words, but with touch. She stepped close, her strong Bajoran hands settling firmly on the crests of Tessa’s hips, her thumbs digging into the hollows of her lower back. She applied pressure, steady and unyielding, countering the crushing squeeze.

“Breathe into it, Marlowe,” Suri murmured, her mouth close to Tessa’s ear.“Don’t fight the pressure.Let it open you.”

Tessa tried. She gasped in a ragged breath, directing it downwards as if she could fill the very space being compressed. Suri’s hands were a focal point, an anchor. The warmth of her body close behind, the subtle scent of her skin mixed with the jasmine, it all grounded Tessa in the midst of the simulation’s storm. The peak held, a plateau of profound tension, before gradually, mercifully, beginning to ebb. Tessa sagged against the tree, a sheen of sweat now coating her chest and forehead. The robe was fully open, gaping to reveal the deep valley between her engorged breasts, the rapid flutter of her heart visible beneath the skin.

“Good,” Suri said, her hands lingering for a moment before she gently withdrew.“That was longer. About sixty seconds. The intervals are decreasing.”

Dr. Campbell observed from a few paces away, a stylus tapping against his ever-present medical PADD. His keen blue eyes, however, were not on the data stream. They traced the line of Tessa’s body where she leaned against the tree: the powerful sweep of her thigh exposed by the fallen robe, the glisten of sweat in the small of her back, the way her exhausted, panting breaths made her heavy breasts shift and sway. He saw the raw, animal grace of it, the untamed physiology playing out with such breathtaking, vulgar beauty.

A familiar, insistent heat stirred in his own body, a flush of blood that had nothing to do with the holodeck’s ambient temperature. He shifted his stance, adjusting the front of his uniform trousers with a subtle, practiced motion. The attraction was unprofessional, undeniable. It wasn’t for Tessa alone, but for the process, the intense vulnerability and power she was incarnating. He allowed himself a moment to feel it—the tightening in his gut, the quickening of his pulse—before compartmentalizing it behind the wall of his clinical role. His arousal was just another piece of data, another facet of the immersive experiment.

“Ensign Laren’s counter-pressure technique is correct,” he said, his voice betraying none of his internal state. “Leverage against the sacrum can mitigate the back pain significantly. Note the physiological response—see how her breathing pattern changed when you applied it, Marlowe?”

Tessa pushed herself upright, pulling the robe together with a hand that trembled slightly. “I noted it felt like you were holding my spine together,” she said, her voice hoarse. She managed a weak smile for Suri. “Thank you.”

Suri nodded, but her dark eyes were on Campbell for a half-second, a flicker of perception there. She had seen where his gaze had rested.

“Walk,” Campbell instructed, gesturing ahead along the path.“The motion will help the fetal head settle. And we need to assess your endurance.”

They moved again, slower now. The paradise around them felt increasingly surreal against the primal reality of Tessa’s body. A contraction gripped her beside a stream, the sound of the water suddenly too loud, too chaotic. She sank to her hands and knees in the soft grass, a position of instinctual refuge, her great belly hanging low and full between her arms. Suri went down with her, one hand resting firmly on the small of her back, the other monitoring the temporal pulse at her wrist.Campbell watched, the stylus motionless now. On her hands and knees, Tessa was a study in elemental force. The robe fell away entirely from her body, pooling around her elbows. He saw the full, heavy swell of her breasts suspended, the dark areolas widened and pronounced. He saw the dramatic, fertile curve of her hips, the taut, enormous dome of her abdomen almost brushing the grass. Her face was contorted in concentration, sweat-damped red curls stuck to her temples.

“The presentation is correcting,” Suri announced, her fingers palpating Tessa’s lower belly through the taut skin.“I can feel the head rotating anteriorly. The movement… it’s intense.”

Tessa cried out, a short, sharp sound that was ripped from her. “It feels… I need to… I need to push.” The words were guttural, urgent, beyond reason. The urge was a physical imperative, a demand as fundamental as a heart beating.“Not yet,” Campbell said, moving closer. He knelt in the grass beside her, his presence large and focused.“Your cervix isn’t fully dilated. If you push now, you’ll swell it.You have to breathe through this. It’s the hardest part. The transition.”

“I can’t,” Tessa sobbed, the tears finally breaking free, cutting tracks through her sweat. Her body shuddered, caught between an overwhelming need to expel and a conscious command to resist. The conflict was agony.

“You can,” Suri said, her voice unexpectedly fierce. She locked eyes with Tessa.“Breathe.Pant. Like this.” She demonstrated short, sharp exhales.Tessa tried, her body trembling with the effort of restraint. The pressure built, a colossal, imminent force threatening to split her in two. She rocked back and forth on her knees, a low, continuous moan humming in her throat. Campbell’s hand came to rest on the crown of her belly, feeling the rock-hard tension, the holographic life within straining against its confines. His touch was assessment, but it was also connection. He was part of this now, his own blood running hot, his professional detachment a thin veil over the raw, captivating spectacle of her struggle. The contraction peaked and then, slowly, began to relent. The urge to push receded, leaving a vacuum of sheer exhaustion. Tessa collapsed forward onto her forearms, her face buried in the cool grass, her whole body trembling. The orchard was silent except for the sound of her ragged breaths and the distant, mocking chime of the waterfall.

Campbell stayed crouched beside her, his hand still resting on the monumental curve of her stomach. He looked at Suri over Tessa’s heaving back. “Next one,” he said, his voice low and charged with a gravity that went beyond instruction.“Next one, she’ll be complete. Then it’s time.”

Then it’s time.”

The words hung in the perfumed air, heavy with finality. Tessa pushed herself up from the grass, her arms trembling under the weight of her body and the life within it. She turned her head, her sweat-dampened curls sticking to her neck, and looked directly at Campbell kneeling beside her. Her eyes, glazed with pain and a sharp, unnerving clarity, flicked down to the front of his uniform trousers for a fraction of a second before locking onto his.

“I saw it,” she said, her voice a raw, husky scrape against the orchard’s tranquility. “Before. Your hard on.” She inhaled a shuddering breath that lifted her magnificent, burdened chest.“This thing inside me is a stubborn little hologram. My water hasn’t broken.” Another contraction began its slow, deep climb, making her gasp and falter. She fought through it, her words squeezed out between clenched teeth.“Endorphins.Oxytocin. You said it yourself… it’s good for the process. So use it. Help me.”

Campbell’s own breath caught. The clinical part of his mind raced through the physiological literature: seminal prostaglandins, the mechanical stimulation, the cascade of neurohormones that could indeed intensify and accelerate labor. It was sound, in a visceral, taboo sense. He glanced at Suri, who had gone very still, her face an unreadable mask of professional observation. She gave the smallest, most imperceptible nod—an acknowledgment of the medical logic, a deference to the simulation’s brutal authenticity.

“The theory is correct,” Campbell said, his own voice lower, thicker than before. “The cocktail would be… efficient.” He stood, his movements deliberate. “Ensign Laren, continue monitoring vitals. Focus on the fetal heart rate.”

He moved behind Tessa, who was already shifting forward, bracing her weight on her elbows in the soft grass. The position arched her back, presenting the immense, ripe curve of her belly suspended beneath her, the robe fallen completely away. Campbell unfastened his trousers, the sound of the zipper loud in the quiet. He was fully, unabashedly aroused now, the professional veil dissolved in the face of the raw, offering vulnerability before him.

He guided himself to her, finding her already slick with sweat and the simulation’s own preparation. There was no preamble, no false intimacy—just a slow, initial pressure that made Tessa cry out, a sound that was equal parts relief and intense, shocking sensation. Then he was inside, a deep, filling presence that seemed to echo the pressure of the phantom child itself.

He moved with a controlled, rhythmic purpose, his hands gripping the swell of her hips. Each thrust ground against that deep, internal ache, transmuting it. Tessa’s moans lost their edge of pure pain, melting into something throatier, more complex. Her body began to move with his, a desperate, organic synchronization. She pushed back against him, taking him deeper, her own need for release—from the tension, from the wait, from the entire overwhelming simulation—becoming a tangible force.

The fetal monitor beside Suri beeped steadily, the heart rate showing a slight, healthy acceleration. Suri watched the screen, her eyes occasionally darting to the joined forms before her, her expression one of intense, analytical absorption.

Campbell felt the tight coil of his own climax building, a heat suffusing through the clinical purpose. He drove deeper, spurred by Tessa’s ragged, encouraging cries. The peak hit him, a sharp, silent tremor that emptied into her. At the exact same moment, Tessa’s body convulsed around him, a different, more profound contraction seizing her entirely.

There was a sudden, warm gush, soaking her inner thighs and the grass beneath them. It wasn’t the clear, clinical fluid of medical texts, but something more visceral, tinged with the biological reality the holodeck so perfectly mimicked. Her water had broken.

Campbell withdrew, swiftly fastening his uniform. The act was over, absorbed back into the framework of the exercise. Tessa remained on her elbows, panting, a new and different urgency now blazing in her eyes. The pressure was no longer just an ache; it was a commanding, downward force.

“It’s coming,” she growled, the words vibrating with a primal certainty.“Now. It’s coming now.”

The urge was absolute, a tectonic force commandeering every muscle fiber. Tessa’s body bowed, a primal groan tearing from her throat as she bore down into the soaked earth. She pushed.

A fresh, warm gush of fluid, tinged with the biological truth of Campbell’s earlier release, spilled from her. It seeped into the grass, a mingled scent of salt and sex and simulation hanging in the air. Her vulva, already engorged and darkened by simulated blood flow, strained outward, the labia swollen and parted with relentless pressure.

“I can feel it—oh god—it’s moving,” she gasped, her voice taut with terror and awe. The distinct, burning sensation of a firm, broad surface began to stretch her deepest aperture. It wasn't a contraction anymore; it was a tangible, invading presence inching downward, a profound fullness that redefined every nerve ending. “It’s in the canal. It’s descending. Right now.”

Her hands scrabbled at the grass, knuckles white. The panic was clean and sharp, cutting through the endorphin haze.

“That’s the head,” Suri confirmed, her voice steadying as she shifted position. She knelt closer, her eyes fixed on the straining, dilated opening. “Don’t fight the stretch, Marlowe. That burn is normal. Breathe through it, then push with the next wave.”

Campbell watched, his own breathing subtly synced with Tessa’s efforts. “There’s no catheter here,” he stated, his clinical tone anchoring the raw scene. “Your bladder’s full.Let it go. It’s just another pressure valve.” He was right. A hot stream of urine joined the mess on the ground, a humiliation that vanished instantly under the overwhelming, encompassing need to expel the greater weight.

Another contraction mounted, a deep, rolling summit of pure force. Tessa cried out, a raw, open-throated sound, and shoved into it with everything she had. The burning intensified, a star of white-hot sensation concentrated at her very center, stretching, tearing, impossibly wide.

“I see it!” Suri’s announcement was electric.“Hair.Dark hair.Stop pushing, Tessa!Pant! Pant now!” Her hands came up, ready but not touching, a reverent guard against the voracious, crowning head.

Tessa panted in short, sharp bursts, her body shuddering with the effort to obey. The relief of the pause was a phantom. The immense, stretching pressure was constant, a permanent, searing alteration. The baby’s head was a hard, unyielding dome, lodged at the gate of the world.“Good. Easy,” Campbell murmured, his eyes sharp on the process.“The perineum is thinning. Laren, support it.”

Suri’s fingers, still gloved in cool holographic latex, pressed gently against the bulging, glistening tissue. She applied a warm, countering pressure to the baby’s scalp, slowing the relentless advance to prevent a simulated tear. Tessa sobbed, the sensation of those foreign hands on that most exposed, straining part of her both invasive and profoundly necessary.

“Okay,” Suri said, her voice low and focused.“Next one.Slow and steady. Push its head to me.”

The command gave Tessa a target. The contraction built, a tidal return. She gathered the chaotic fragments of her will, clutched Suri’s forearm, and pushed not just with force, but with directed intent. The burning peak crested into a blinding, seamless expansion.

The infant’s head emerged in a slow, viscous revolution, Suri’s hands cradling its wet, slick crown. It turned instinctively, presenting one shoulder, then the other, to the golden orchard light.

“Head is delivered,” Campbell said, the words a formal grace note in the organic chaos. Tessa heaved a shuddering breath, the partial relief astonishing. But the body remained, a dense, twisting weight still lodged within her.

“One more, Ensign,” Suri urged, her voice vibrating with intensity.“The hard part’s done.Push its body out. Push it into my hands.”

Tessa looked down, past the monumental slope of her own belly. Between her trembling thighs, she saw the shocking reality: the purplish, wrinkled scalp, the closed eyelids of the holographic infant, resting in Suri’s sure grip. The sight unleashed a final, ferocious strength. She gave a guttural, grunting push.

The tiny, slippery body slid free in a single, fluid rush, followed by a final trickle of fluid and blood. It poured into Suri’s waiting hands, a sudden, living weight of damp limbs and coiled cord.

The orchard was silent, save for Tessa’s ragged, weeping breaths. Suri lifted the child, swiftly clearing its mouth with a gentle finger. A sharp, indignant cry shattered the stillness, vibrant and real.

The infant’s cry was a piercing, vital thread stitching the surreal orchard back to a moment of stark, breathing reality. Suri held the writhing, vernix-smeared form against Tessa’s heaving chest, the warmth of the tiny body a shocking contrast to the cooling air on Tessa’s skin. Tessa’s arms, clumsy and trembling, instinctively closed around the damp weight, her sobs of exhaustion merging with the baby’s furious wails.

Campbell’s hands, now sheathed in fresh, shimmering holographic gloves, moved with decisive grace. He clamped the pulsing, blue-white umbilical cord in two places, the material yielding with a firm pressure. “A clean cut,” he stated, his voice a calm anchor in the emotional swell. The surgical laser scalpel flashed with a silent, precise light, severing the physical tether between mother and simulation.

The baby in Tessa’s arms gave a startled jerk at the separation, its cries sharpening for a second before settling into a reedy, rhythmic complaint. Tessa stared, mesmerized by the perfect, miniature fingernails, the downy hair plastered in delicate whorls. The primal urge to bring the child to her swollen, aching breast was overwhelming, a deep, hormonal pull that tightened her stomach in a new, possessive way.

“We’re not done,” Suri reminded softly, her own voice thick with a shared, spent emotion. She placed her hands low on Tessa’s abdomen, which still loomed large and firm.“A few more contractions. For the afterbirth. Breathe.”

Tessa nodded, nuzzling the top of the baby’s head, inhaling its inexplicably real scent of salt and new skin. Another, softer clenching seized her insides, a feeble echo of the previous seismic forces. She bore down with a tired grunt, and Suri applied firm, downward pressure just above her pubic bone.

It was a strange, hollow sensation, a slithering internal release. The placenta slid out onto the grass in a dark, corded mass, a final, organic surrender. Campbell scooped it efficiently into a basin, examining its structure with a clinical eye.“Complete.No retained fragments. Good.”

He then looked from the spent, bleeding woman cradling the phantom infant to the Bajoran ensign kneeling in the damp grass. The simulation had reached its natural conclusion. “Computer,” Campbell said, his tone stripping away the orchard’s perfume and the baby’s warmth. “End program.”

The golden light, the sound of water, the scent of jasmine—they dissolved into pixels and vanished. The soft grass under Tessa’s knees and the rough bark she had clung to became unyielding, smooth holodeck grid. The most profound change was in her arms. The comforting, squirming weight simply blinked out of existence, leaving her embrace empty and her muscles twitching with the ghost memory of its form. She gasped, a sound of pure dislocation. Her gaze dropped to her own body. The enormous, taut dome of her belly was gone. Her abdomen was flat, soft, familiar beneath the open, clean robe. The crushing pressure in her pelvis, the deep ache in her back, the heavy, full sensation in her breasts—all of it evaporated, leaving behind only a pervasive, trembling fatigue and a profound somatic echo.

They were back in the warm, ambient blue glow of the holographic medical bay.The pristine birthing bed sat silently nearby, its monitors dark. The air now carried only the sterile, ozonic smell of the holodeck itself. Tessa sagged, catching herself with her hands on the cool, solid floor. She stared at her own normal, freckled hands, then up at Campbell and Suri, who were now just colleagues again in a sterile training room. The transition was absolute, brutal, and complete.
