A man named Kelly found a new wife in his books and work

Chapter 1: Chapter 1

How I lost my job and business and couldn't pay the bills was one big, long, terrible blur. One thing that stayed clear though was the fact that I had two wives. It was a truth that I clung to like a lifeline. It was the reason I kept going when all around me seemed to be falling apart. I had to keep working.

When you work for yourself, there's always a chance of going broke. No one really knows how much work it takes to run a business, especially one that is yours. The books don't tell you that you have to pay yourself first and then pay your staff. The banks don't tell you that if you borrow money, you have to pay it back with interest. No one tells you that being your own boss means you have to take on all the risk and responsibility.

When my second wife, Carly, came into my life, things seemed to be looking up. I had a beautiful wife, a beautiful home, and a successful business. Then the bottom fell out from underneath me. My company went under, I got fired, and I had to borrow money just to pay the bills. As soon as I paid off the last of my debt, I had to start paying myself first and then my staff. It was a vicious cycle. I kept going because I had to. There was no one else to pay.

I have a very short fuse, and it doesn't take much to set me off. I used to get angry very easily, but I have worked hard to control my temper. I used to get so angry when my wife would go out and get drunk and cheat on me. I used to get so angry when my in-laws would come down and try to take over our lives. I used to get so angry when my brother would try to take over my business. I used to get so angry when people would tell me that my wife and I were a perfect match.

But now I'm just plain old angry all the time. It's easier that way. I don't have to think about why I'm angry or why I'm reacting this way. I just get mad and yell at whoever is closest to me. I yell at my second wife, Carly, and I yell at my staff. It's easier that way.

I never get mad at Carly. It's not her fault. She doesn't know what it's like to run my business or to have me as a husband. She doesn't know what it's like to have me as a father, either. She doesn't know what it's like to have me as a brother, either. I don't blame her for anything. She's just my second wife, and she doesn't know what it's like to be me.

I used to get very angry when my brother would try to take over my business. Now I just want him out of my life. He's my elder brother, and it's his last year of college. I don't want him to think that I'm like that all the time. I just want him to focus on his final year and getting a good job. I don't want him to think that I'm like that all the time. I just want him to be a normal person for one year. I don't want him to be like me.

I used to get very angry when people told me that my wife and I were a perfect match. Now I just laugh at how wrong they are.
