Chapter 1: The First Touch of Latex

The envelope was on the mat, plain and white, no stamp. Elena almost didn’t see it, tucked under the edge of the welcome mat that said ‘Bless This Home’. Her name was typed on the front in a generic font. Inside, the world ended.

Not a letter. Evidence.

A photograph, printed on glossy paper. Her, in the blue twilight of her bedroom last Tuesday. Head thrown back, mouth open in a silent cry, one hand shoved beneath the waistband of her cotton pajamas, the other clutching a pale pink vibrator. The angle was from the high corner of the room, near the smoke detector.

Beneath it, printed sheets. Her browser history from the last six months. A damning ledger of desperation: latex catsuit how to measure, mother son taboo stories, BDSM for beginners, is it normal to fantasize about your adult child.

Her stomach emptied itself into the kitchen sink, the acid burning her throat. She scrubbed at her mouth with the back of her hand, trembling so hard her knees knocked against the cabinet. The hyper-religious silence of her suburban house pressed in, the cross-stitched ‘Faith’ on the wall, the quiet hum of the refrigerator. A prison she’d built herself.

Alex was upstairs. Her son. Twenty-two, lean from college workouts, a stranger who shared her roof and her DNA and nothing else anymore. The distance between them was a cold, wide ocean. She’d seen the way he looked at her sometimes, a flicker of something that wasn’t filial, before his face shuttered with a guilt that mirrored her own. She knew why he spent so much time at the gym, why he was always first to leave the room.

She heard his footsteps on the stairs and shoved the papers into the junk drawer, behind the takeout menus and dead batteries.

“You okay, Mom? You’re white as a sheet.” He stood in the doorway, his broad shoulders filling the frame. He looked like his father, but softer. Kinder.

“Fine. Just a dizzy spell.” Her voice was a brittle thing. “You’re going out?”

“Meeting some friends from the study group. Might be late.” He didn’t meet her eyes. He was lying. She could always tell.

“Okay. Have fun.” She wanted to reach for him, to bridge the ocean. She clutched the edge of the counter instead.

As his car pulled out of the driveway, her panic sharpened into a single, lucid point. The instructions in the envelope were clear. Come alone. Tell no one. Or he sees everything.

Alex drove with the windows down, the night air doing nothing to cool the heat under his skin. The letter in his backpack felt like a live wire. Printed pages. His own private shame, weaponized: search histories for latex fetish, older women in bondage, forums with titles that made his face burn. And worse, the sketches he’d done in the margins of his notebooks, never meaning for anyone to see—curves he knew too well, but clad in shiny, second-skin black.

Whoever sent it knew his darkest shit. Knew about the dreams that woke him up hard and sweating, images of his mother not as she was, but transformed. Powerful. Encased in gleaming black latex, her smile not gentle but commanding. The guilt afterwards was a physical sickness.

The address led him to an industrial part of the city he never visited. Warehouses and closed auto-body shops. The only light came from a single neon sign that hummed, ‘Fetish Fashions’, in a deep, arterial red. His palms were slick on the steering wheel. This was a mistake. A catastrophic, life-ruining mistake.

He parked around back, as instructed. The metal door was unmarked. He knocked, the sound echoing in the empty lot.

It was opened by a person he couldn’t immediately gender. Mid-thirties, with a severe, elegant haircut and eyes the color of polished slate. They wore a simple black turtleneck and trousers. “Alex,” they said, not a question. “Come in. She’s already here.”

She?

He stepped into a space that wasn’t a warehouse but a boutique, a labyrinth of shadows and mirrors. The air was thick, warm, and carried a distinct, sweet-rubber scent that went straight to his groin. Clothes hung like shadows, gleaming dully under pin-spot lights. And in the center of the room, frozen like a deer, was his mother.

Elena whirled, her hand flying to her throat. “Alex? What… what are you doing here?” Her eyes, those striking green eyes wide with terror, darted from him to the androgynous receptionist and back.

“I got a letter,” he stammered. “You?”

Her silence was answer enough. The awful truth hung between them, suffocating. They were both here for the same reason. Their private filth was public, and it was shared.

“This is a sick joke,” Alex spat, turning to the receptionist—Miss E, as they’d introduced themselves. “Who the fuck are you? What do you want?”

Miss E smiled, a small, knowing curve of the lips. “We want nothing. We merely… provide access. To the truth you both already know.” Their gaze was unnervingly direct. “The letters were not sent to destroy you. They were sent to liberate you. From the lies. From the repression. From this… painful distance.” They gestured between mother and son, a space charged with a lifetime of unsaid things.

Elena made a small, broken sound. “This is wrong. We have to leave.”

“You can,” Miss E said softly, picking up a garment bag from a velvet chaise. “You can walk out that door and go back to your separate silences. Your pious suburb. Your dutiful dinners. Your lonely beds. Or…” They unzipped the bag with a slow, deliberate hiss.

Inside hung a single suit. Latex. Blacker than anything Alex had ever seen. It shimmered under the light, a liquid second skin. With it, a hood, featureless except for a subtle, suggestive shaping around the mouth.

“You can choose to see each other. Not as mother and son. But as the man and woman you are. Full of desires you did not ask for, but cannot deny.”

The silence in the room was absolute, broken only by the hum of the neon sign. Alex stared at the suit. It was the material of every one of his forbidden fantasies. He saw Elena’s eyes trace its contours, her breath coming quicker. He saw not his mother, but a woman—a beautiful, lonely woman, her curves still stunning, her auburn hair beginning to gray at the temples, her eyes full of a hunger she’d spent forty-four years starving.

“It’s monstrous,” Elena whispered, but she didn’t look away.

“It’s honest,” Miss E corrected. “The changing rooms are there. And there.” They pointed to two arched doorways, veiled by black curtains. “When you are ready, you will come out. Or you will not.”

They turned and walked to a discreet desk at the rear of the boutique, leaving them alone in the fragrant, shadowy space.

Elena looked at Alex, her face a mask of shame and terrible want. “We can’t.”

“I know,” he said, his voice rough. But he was already moving, his feet carrying him toward one of the curtained arches. He couldn’t look at her as he passed, the scent of her perfume—jasmine and vanilla—mixing with the latex in the air.

Behind his curtain, the room was small, lit by a single red bulb. His hands shook as he stripped. Jeans, shirt, boxers, piling on the floor. The latex suit was cool and heavy. He stepped into the legs, the material resisting, then yielding with a soft, sucking sound that was obscenely intimate. He pulled it up over his hips, his ass, his already-hard cock, which strained against the tight, unyielding rubber. He worked his arms in, shrugged the shoulders into place. The zip in the front went from groin to throat. He pulled it up, the sound loud in the quiet room. Zzzzzip. Sealing himself in.

The hood was last. He pulled it over his head, the world narrowing to the faint glow of light through the rubber. His breathing was loud in his own ears. He was no longer Alex. He was a shape. A desire. A man in a rubber skin.

He pushed the curtain aside.

She was standing in the center of the room. Transfigured.

The latex embraced every one of her curves, made a sculpture of her. The swell of her hips, the dip of her waist, the full, heavy weight of her breasts—all were glossed in perfect, unbroken black. The hood obscured her hair, her ears, turning her into an anonymous goddess of dark eroticism. Only her green eyes were visible through the eyeholes, wide and terrified and blazing.

They stared at each other. Son and mother were gone. Vanished behind the membrane of rubber.

He saw her eyes drop, take in the pronounced, rigid bulge at his groin. A choked gasp escaped her, muffled by the hood. She didn’t look away.

He took a step forward. Then another. The rubber of his suit whispered against itself. He stopped a foot from her. He could smell the latex, her sweat, the faint jasmine trapped beneath.

Slowly, so slowly, he raised a gloved hand. He watched his own black fingers hover near her cheek, then finally make contact. The latex-on-latex sensation was alien, smooth and frictionless and incredibly hot. He traced the line of her jaw, down the column of her throat, over the prominent rise of her breast.

Elena shuddered, her eyes fluttering closed. A low moan vibrated in her throat. Her own hands, clad in the same gleaming black, came up. They didn’t push him away. They settled on his waist, fingers gripping the material, pulling him closer.

When their bodies met, it was with a soft, sticky sound. The full, hot length of his cock pressed against the rubber-covered mound of her stomach. Her head fell back, offering her throat. He bent, nuzzling the hollow through the hood, his breathing ragged.

“Oh, god,” she whimpered, the words distorted. “Alex…”

“Don’t talk,” he growled, the command rough and new in his voice. He found the zip at the front of her suit, just below her throat. He tugged it down. Zzzzip. An inch. Two. Revealing a strip of her flushed, vulnerable skin. He lowered his mouth, licking the salty sweat from the valley between her breasts.

Her hips jerked, grinding against his thigh. She was shameless now, a raw, wanting thing. All the years of repression, of quiet devotion, of lonely nights, exploded into this single, desperate point of contact. Her hands scrabbled at his back, his ass, pulling him harder into her.

He walked her backwards until her shoulders met a cool mirror. He pinned her there, his body rigid against hers. One black-gloved hand slid down her side, over the incredible curve of her hip, and cupped her between the legs. The latex was thin there. He could feel the heat, the swelling, the wetness already soaking through.

“Fuck,” he hissed, rubbing the heel of his hand against her. She cried out, her body arching, pushing into his touch.

This was wrong. It was a sin. It was the most powerfully, devastatingly right thing he had ever felt. The guilt was still there, a scream in the back of his mind, but it was drowned out by the roaring of his blood, the scent of her, the sight of his anonymous, rubber-clad mother writhing against him, lost to a pleasure she’d denied herself for decades.

He worked his fingers against her, the slippery rubber sliding over her sensitive flesh. He could feel her climax building, her thighs trembling, her breath coming in sharp, muffled pants behind the hood. He watched her, this beautiful, monstrous, desired creature, as she came apart against his hand. Her whole body tightened, a silent scream contorting her features behind the mask, and then went pliant, sagging against the mirror with a long, shuddering sigh.

For a moment, they just breathed, the sound harsh in the quiet room. Then her green eyes opened, meeting his through the hoods. They were clear. Unashamed. Hungry in a new way.

Her gloved hand moved down, fumbling for his zip. She found it, at the very crest of the throbbing bulge. She tugged it down.

The zip parted with a sound like a sharp sigh. The tight rubber peeled back, and his cock sprang free, rigid and flushed, curving up against his stomach. A thick bead of precum glistened at the tip.

Elena stared, her breath catching in the hollow silence of the hood. This was not the abstract concept of sin. This was flesh. Her son’s flesh. Heat radiated from it, a primal, undeniable reality that burned away the last scraps of her old self. She watched a single drop trace a slow path down the shaft.

Without thinking, acting on a hunger deeper than thought, she leaned forward. Her hooded face descended. The scent of him, salt and skin and clean sweat, filled the small space. Her tongue, tentative at first, flicked out and caught the drop. The taste was musky, bitter, profoundly intimate.

A guttural groan tore from Alex’s chest. His hands, still gloved in black, fisted in the hood at the back of her head, not forcing, but holding. Anchoring. “Jesus, Mom,” he breathed, the title a blasphemy that made her cunt clench.

She took him into her mouth.

It was an awkward, frantic fit at first, her lips stretched wide around his girth. The latex of her hood created a strange, slick barrier. But the feeling—the hot, velvety-hard fullness on her tongue, the shudder that wracked his body—drove her on. She found a rhythm, bobbing her head, sucking hard, her own need a throbbing, insistent pulse between her legs. She was good at this. She’d forgotten she could be good at anything but being a mother.

“Fuck, yeah… just like that,” he hissed, his hips beginning to piston gently, fucking her mouth. “Your mouth is so fucking hot.”

The filthiness of his praise speared through her, a lightning bolt of pure pleasure. She moaned around him, the vibration making his knees buckle. He tasted of everything forbidden, of every lonely night she’d spent wondering who she was, of every glance between them that had lasted a second too long.

One of his hands left her head and slid between her legs. His fingers, slick from her own wetness which had soaked through the thin latex there, found her opening. He pushed two fingers inside her, deep and curling.

Elena convulsed, a muffled scream trapped in her throat as she came again, instantly, violently, her cunt milking his fingers while her mouth still worked frantically on his cock. The double sensation short-circuited her brain. She was just a body now, a vessel for unspeakable pleasure.

He pulled her off him, her lips making a wet pop. Strings of saliva connected her hood to his shining cock. “Turn around,” he commanded, his voice ragged. “Brace against the mirror.”

She obeyed, moving like she was in a dream. The cold glass met her front as she placed her palms flat against it. Her reflection, a featureless black form, stared back, anonymous and wanton. She saw his reflection behind her, a dark demon rising at her back.

He gripped the zip at the back of her suit and pulled. It parted from the nape of her hood down to the cleft of her ass. Cool air hit her skin, followed instantly by the scorching heat of his body as he pressed against her. He didn’t peel the suit off, just opened it, exposing her back, the curve of her ass.

His hands, still in their rubber gloves, gripped her hips, his thumbs digging into the soft flesh of her ass cheeks. The head of his cock nudged against her, slippery with her saliva and his precum. He rubbed it through her wet folds, coating himself, a slow, torturous tease that made her whimper.

“Please,” she begged, the word muffled and desperate. “Alex, please…”

He leaned forward, his hooded mouth near the opening in her hood where her ear would be. “Tell me you want it,” he growled. “Tell me you want your son to fuck you.”

She saw their reflection—the monstrous, beautiful tableau. “I want it,” she sobbed, pressing back against him. “I want you to fuck me. I need it.”

He drove into her in one brutal, deep stroke.

The fullness was shocking, devastating. He was huge, stretching her exquisitely, filling a hollow she hadn’t known was there. He didn’t pause, didn’t give her time to adjust. He pulled back and slammed home again, setting a relentless, pounding rhythm.

The sounds were obscene. The slap of rubber against rubber, their harsh breaths, the wet, sucking noise of him fucking her deeply. Each thrust rocked her entire body against the cool mirror. Pleasure, sharp and electric, radiated from her core with every impact.

“God, you’re so tight,” he grunted, his fingers biting into her hips. “So fucking wet for me. You’ve been thinking about this.”

“Yes,” she cried.“Always. I didn’t know… but yes.”

His pace increased, becoming savage, animalistic. He was chasing his release, and she was hurtling toward another. The pressure built, coiling tighter and tighter in her belly. The world narrowed to the feel of him splitting her open, the sight of their dark, anonymous forms rutting in the mirror, the scent of sex and rubber thick in the air.

“I’m gonna come,” he warned, his voice strained. “I’m gonna come inside you, Mom.”

The final taboo. The ultimate act. It snapped the last thread of her restraint.

Her third climax detonated, a silent, seismic wave that clenched around his driving cock, pulling a roar from his lungs. She felt him pulse, hot and deep inside her, his own release triggering endless, fluttering aftershocks in her own body. He collapsed against her back, his weight pressing her into the mirror, their sweaty, rubber-clad bodies sticking together as they gasped for air in the red-lit gloom.

Slowly, the world seeped back in. The hum of the neon sign. The faint scent of jasmine under the rubber. The cooling trickle of his cum down the inside of her thigh.

Reality, cold and sharp, began its return.

She freed his cock, the softening length slipping wetly from her body with a final, intimate sound.

Silence crashed in, broken only by their ragged breathing. The initial rush of raw pleasure and power was dissipating, leaking out of the room like air from a punctured balloon. In its place came the cold, slow seep of what they had just done.

Alex pulled back, the rubber of their suits making a sticky, ripping sound as they separated. He stared down at the mess he’d left on the inside of her thigh, gleaming white against the black latex and her flushed skin. The sight of his own cum there, on his mother, sent a jolt of such profound horror through him that he stumbled back a step. His own back hit another mirror with a soft thump.

“Oh, god.” It was Elena’s voice, thin and cracked, muffled by the hood. She was staring at their reflection in the mirror she still braced against. Two black, faceless monsters, one dripping with the evidence of their mutual ruin. Her gloved hands trembled violently on the glass.

This wasn’t liberation. It was a trap. A perfect, awful trap, and they’d walked right into it. The letters, the boutique, the suits—it was all engineered to break them. And it had. The shame wasn’t a scream anymore. It was a physical coldness settling in his marrow, a nausea that rose bitter in his throat.

He fumbled for the zip at his throat, yanking it down with a frantic jerk. The air hit his sweaty chest like ice. He tore at the hood, pulling it off his head. His hair was plastered flat, his face pale and slick with sweat in the red light. He looked young. Terrified. A boy who’d done something unforgivable.

Elena watched him in the mirror. Watched the man—the stranger who had fucked her with such commanding brutality—vanish, replaced by her son. Her Alex. The baby she’d rocked to sleep, the boy she’d driven to soccer practice, the young man she’d worried about. The reality of him, raw and vulnerable, was a thousand times worse than the anonymous figure in rubber.

She turned, her own movements clumsy. Her hands reached for the seam of her hood, but they were shaking too badly. A pathetic, frustrated sob escaped her.

“Let me,” Alex said, his voice flat. He stepped closer, not meeting her eyes, and his fingers, now bare as he’d stripped off the gloves, found the edges of her hood at her neck. He pulled it up and over her head with a soft, plasticky whisper.

Her auburn hair tumbled out, a mess of damp waves. Her face was streaked with sweat and tears, her mascara smudged into ghostly shadows beneath her shattered green eyes. She looked decades older than she had an hour ago. She looked broken.

They stood there, half in and half out of their rubber skins, breathing the same devastated air.

“We have to go,” he said, turning away, unable to look at her exposed face. “We have to get out of here and never… never fucking think about this again.”

“Think about it?” Her laugh was a tiny, broken thing. “Alex, it’s inside me. How do I not think about it?”

The crudeness of the words hung between them, another violation. He flinched.

He turned back, grabbing his discarded jeans and shirt from the changing room floor. He dressed quickly, his back to her, the ordinary act of pulling on cotton boxers feeling like a absurd parody of normality. The scent of her, of sex, clung to his skin. It would never come off.

Elena remained standing by the mirror, the back of her suit still open, a slice of pale, vulnerable skin running down her spine. She felt the slow, illicit trickle of his release tracing a path down her inner thigh. A part of her, a deep, shameful, hidden part, wanted to leave it there. To keep it. Proof that for ten minutes, she had been desired, powerful, real. Not just a mother. Not just a ghost in a blessed house.

The rest of her wanted to peel her own skin off.

She heard the soft footsteps first. Miss E emerged from the shadows near the desk, carrying a thick, white towel and a small spray bottle. Their expression was neither judgmental nor triumphant. It was calm.Clinical. “The clean-up station is through there,” they said, nodding toward a curtained archway they hadn’t used. “Biodegradable shiner for the suits. Mild antiseptic for yourselves.”

Alex whirled, his face contorted with rage and shame. “Who the fuck are you? Was this a game for you? Setting this up? You’re a goddamn monster.”

Miss E didn’t blink. “We presented an opportunity. You both made a series of choices. Every step of the way. We merely removed… the obstacles of your ordinary lives. The costumes. The expectations.” Their slate-gray eyes moved to Elena, who was still trembling. “The result belongs to you.”

“We’re leaving,” Alex snarled, shoving his feet into his shoes.

“Of course.” Miss E placed the towel and spray on the velvet chaise. “The suits are yours. A memento.Or not. Discard them if you wish. But you should clean yourselves. The alternative is… conspicuous.”

Elena knew what they meant. The smell. The physical evidence. Walking out into the cool night air like this, sticky and spent, would make the sin tangible in a new way. It would be in her car, on her seats, in her house. She couldn’t bear it.

Without a word, she picked up the towel and bottle and walked on unsteady legs toward the clean-up station. Alex stood rigid, fists clenched, but after a moment, he followed her. He couldn’t let her go alone.

It was a tiled, sterile space, like a hospital bathroom designed by a fetishist. A drain in the floor, a handheld showerhead, a bench. It smelled of clean rubber and a hint of bleach. The sound of a hidden extractor fan hummed softly.

Elena mechanically hung the towel on a hook. She finally found the zip at her wrist and peeled the suit down her arms, letting the top half fall to her waist. The cool air bit her bare breasts. She couldn’t look at Alex. She sprayed the towel with the antiseptic and began to wipe between her legs, her movements harsh, trying to scour the feeling of him away. The white towel came away stained with pink and beige.

Alex watched, his stomach churning. He saw the curve of her back, the familiar slope of her shoulders that he’d hugged a thousand times, now marked faintly pink from the pressure of his grip. He turned on the showerhead, adjusting it to lukewarm, and rinsed the rubber suit he still wore from the waist down, the water running dark at his feet. The act was so mundane, so bizarrely practical after what they’d done.

When he was done, he turned off the water. The silence was heavy. He could hear the soft, damp sound of her towel on her skin.

“We can’t tell anyone,” he said, his voice hollow. “Ever.”

“Who would we tell, Alex?” Her voice was weary. “Who in our world would understand anything but the sin? They wouldn’t see… what it felt like.” She paused, the towel freezing over her stomach. “What did it feel like for you?”

He shut his eyes. The question was a landmine. “It felt… powerful. And then it felt like dying.”

She nodded, a slow, accepting motion. “For me, it was the opposite. It felt like being alive for the first time in twenty years. And then it felt like a funeral.”

The brutal honesty of the exchange was more intimate than the sex had been. They were staring into the crater they’d made together.

He finally peeled the lower half of the suit off, stepping out of it. Naked now, he took the damp towel from her hand. She didn’t resist. He sprayed it fresh and gently wiped a smudge of mascara from under her eye. The gesture was so tender it made her throat ache. This was her son. This was the boy who’d drawn her pictures, who’d cried when he skinned his knee. The man who had just fucked her raw against a mirror.

They finished in silence, dressing in their real clothes—the khakis and soft sweater she’d arrived in, his jeans and hoodie. The ordinary fabrics felt like a prison sentence. They gathered the wet, heavy latex suits, stuffing them into the garment bag Miss E had provided. It felt like carrying a corpse.

Miss E was gone when they emerged into the main boutique. The only sound was the hum of the neon. The door to the night was unlocked. They walked out into the cool, diesel-scented air of the industrial lot. The world outside was shockingly normal. Distant traffic. A sliver of moon.

They walked to their separate cars, parked spaces apart. The silence stretched, vast and unbridgeable.

Alex stopped at his driver’s side door, the garment bag a dead weight in his hand. “So we just… go home. Act normal.”

“Normal.” Elena tested the word. It tasted like dust. She looked at him across the roof of her sedan. His face was a pale smudge in the darkness. “The house rules are all we have left, Alex. We have to follow them. Strictly. Or we’ll drown.”

He nodded. It was the only plan they had. A life of rigid, silent routine. No more lingering glances. No more quiet dinners filled with unasked questions. Just mother and son. Boundaries of steel. It was their only hope of survival.

He got in his car. She got in hers. Two engines coughed to life in the empty lot. He pulled out first, not looking back.

Elena sat for a moment, the car idling. She looked down at the passenger seat, at the black garment bag. A memento. Or not. She reached over, her hand hovering above the slick material.

Then she slowly, deliberately, unzipped the bag. The sweet, chemical scent of latex bloomed in the car. She didn’t pull the suit out. Instead, she slid her hand inside, feeling the cool, damp interior. Her fingers traced a seam, then the curve of a breast, then dipped into the hidden, gusseted space between the legs. The material was still faintly damp there.

She brought her fingers to her nose and inhaled.

It was all there. The musk, the salt, the proof.

A strange, cold calm settled over her. The funeral was over. The burial had been premature.

She put the car in drive and pulled onto the empty street. But she didn’t turn toward the freeway that led to the suburbs, to the ‘Bless This Home’ mat, to their gilded cage of rules.

She flicked her turn signal. The click was loud in the quiet car. The green arrow blinked on the dashboard, pointing left.

Alex, in his car a few blocks ahead, saw her headlights swing away from the route home in his rearview mirror. He watched them recede, his heart thudding against his ribs. He slowed, his grip tight on the wheel. The taillights of her sedan glowed like demon eyes in the dark, then vanished around a corner, heading deeper into the raw, neon heart of the city.

Toward no rule they had ever known.

He found himself parked outside her house twenty minutes later, engine off, lights dead. His own home. It was dark, empty, waiting. A museum of their former lives. He couldn’t go in.

The silence in his car was screaming. The ghost of her scent was on his fingers. He lifted his hand, staring at it in the faint glow of the streetlight. He remembered the heat of her, the shocking wetness. The power. He remembered the broken look in her eyes afterward.

And he remembered the green arrow, blinking left.

He threw his car door open and strode back out into the night, not toward the house, but around the side, to the garage. He punched the code into the keypad. The door rumbled upward. He didn’t turn on the light.

He went to the far corner, past the neatly stacked gardening tools and his father’s old golf clubs—relics of a life that felt like it belonged to other people. He knelt in the dust, his hands searching the concrete floor until his fingers found the small, hidden hoop. He pulled, and a section of the floor, a perfect square, lifted on silent hinges. His father’s secret. A stashing place for his gambling cash, his cheap vodka, the things he hid from his pious wife.

Alex reached into the cold, dark space. His fingers closed not around money, but around the slick, cool surface of the garment bag he’d hidden there five minutes after getting home. He hauled it out.

He didn’t go back to his car. He walked back into the silent house. He didn’t turn on lights. The cross-stitch ‘Faith’ glowed dimly in the moonlight from the window.

He took the stairs two at a time, not to his room, but to hers. Her bedroom door was open. The bed was neatly made. The pink vibrator was gone from her nightstand drawer—the one from the photograph. A chill went through him. He stepped inside.

He dropped the bag on her pristine floral quilt. The sound was obscenely loud. He unzipped it.

The black suit gleamed, a pool of liquid shadow in the moonlight.

He didn’t hesitate. He stripped, right there in the middle of her room, his clothes piling on her cream-colored rug. He stepped into the latex. It was still slightly damp, clinging to his legs, his thighs. He pulled it up, over his cock, which was already thickening at the memory, the defiance. He sealed himself in with the zip, the sound a vow in the quiet house.

He was not following her.

He was waiting.

The headlights cut through the bedroom window an hour later, painting slow arcs across the ceiling as her car turned into the drive. He didn’t move from where he stood, a black statue beside her bed. He heard the key in the front door, the soft click of it closing. He heard her footsteps, slow and hesitant, on the stairs.

She paused in the doorway. A silhouette backlit by the hall nightlight. She saw him. The latex caught a sliver of light, outlining every muscle, the proud, full bulge at his groin. Her breath caught.

She didn’t speak. She walked into the room and closed the door behind her. The lock engaged with a soft, final click.

She didn’t turn on the light. She came to stand before him. Her eyes, wide and dark in the dimness, traveled over the suit, over his face which was set, hard, waiting. Her fingers reached out, trembling, and touched the zip at his chest.

“The rules,” she whispered, her voice raw.

“Fuck the rules,” he said, his voice low and clear.

THEY BREAK THE RULES.
