"I'll get us some snacks too." I said
"You don't have to do that," she said. "I know I don't. But it makes me feel good to do nice things for you. Like last week when I got you that dress at the mall."
"You looked amazing in it."
"Thank you," she responded with a smile.
I walked over to the snacks cart and got us some snacks.
