Chapter 5: Resolution

The Restaurant was stuffed to burst with the wealthy and powerful of the city. A who's who for the elite of the city. Old money, New Money, CEOs, deal maker, stock brokers, Monied men, and their floozies. Bloated egos and raging ids congratulating themselves on being masters of the universe.

Draped in designer labels like capes, strutting like peacocks among the guests.

Soon, Emily was enmeshed in a conversation with a group of women who were discussing the latest fashion trends. She listened patiently, nodding her head and offering occasional comments, but her mind was elsewhere. She was waiting for the big signal that told her that her witch companions would turn the entire room into big fat monstrous trolls.

Or, the male part of the room, anyhow.

One particularly obnoxious young man was boasting about his latest business deal, punctuating each point with loud laughter and slaps on the back from his equally repulsive cronies. His name was Robert, or rather, Bob, as everyone called him. Bob the Conqueror, Bob the Magnificent, Bob the Blowhard. He wore the title proudly, relishing in the adulation of his sycophants.

As Emily listened to his nauseating braggadocio, she couldn't help but wonder why women ever found men like him attractive. She wanted him to be the fattest, ugliest troll. Badly.

Sure, he was rich and successful, but he lacked any trace of human decency or compassion. She pitied the poor woman who ended up marrying him someday, trapped in a loveless marriage with a monster.

Suddenly, there was a commotion at the entrance of the restaurant. Everyone turned to see what was happening, and Emily caught sight of a figure moving towards them through the crowd. Her heart skipped a beat when she recognized Lily walking towards her, a mischievous smile playing at the corners of her lips.

Behind her followed Amelia and Sophia, both looking equally pleased with themselves.

"Full attention, all eyes on me!" Lily said, bubbly and giggling. She was dressed as provocatively as possible while still being considered decent.

Plunging necklines, tight skirts, killer heels, her hair cascading down her shoulders like a waterfall of red gold. Everything about her screamed sex appeal, and the men in the room couldn't help but notice.

Bob's eyes landed on her immediately, and he made his way over to her, his entourage trailing behind him like mosquitoes drawn to blood.

"Well, no reason not to have my eyes on you, my sweet." he said, smiling lasciviously.

"We have an important message from the Trollfabrikant Foundation, Amelia." She made a wide gesture to Amelia, who was similarly dressed.

Both ladies were dripping with elegance and beauty, their bodies honed to perfection, their curves accented by their clothing. In contrast, Sophia stood apart, dressed modestly yet effortlessly chic, her intelligence and wit shining through her gaze.

"Ladies, and gentlemen, Before you I hold the key to a new vision of tomorrow, a world filled with large piles of green, a world with all of you in it." Amelia Said, swaying her body back and forth in a sexual manner so no man would look away.

"As a representative of the TrollFabrikant Foundation, let me share with you that future." On cue, the room erupted with a thick green fog. The men in the room started to transform.

Their skin grew rough and scaly, their faces contorted into grotesque masks of rage and confusion. They tried to fight against the changes, but their muscles refused to obey their commands. Soon enough, they were all massive, towering trolls, their bellies protruding comically and their limbs twisted into impossible angles.

Emily watched in shock as the once-proud and powerful figures were reduced to pathetic creatures. Her initial horror gave way to a sense of satisfaction.

She had always hated these arrogant men who treated women like objects, and now they were paying the price for their misdeeds.

Emily watched as the transformed trolls stumbled around, unsure of what to do with their newly deformed bodies. Some of them cried in fear and confusion, while others simply roared in anger, attempting to attack the source of their transformation.

The diners around them scattered, some running for the exits while others hid under tables or behind chairs. The staff members, caught off guard, fled to safety, leaving the room in chaos.

The big fat trolls reacted differently, some curled up and cried, cradling their big fat belies for comfort, some panicked and tried to flee, over indulged bodies tripping them up and causing them to fall pathetically and comically, some seemingly embraced their change, feeling their new found extreme masculinity pump through their veins, bodies grown with renewed vigor. One particularly fat one in the corner, masturbated, this was his fetish, after all.

The women had a similarly varied reaction. Some ran, some stayed by there men, some laughed and mocked their counterparts and some barely reacted.

The room was a spectacle of pure pandemonium. Women, children and staff scattering everywhere.

The three witches belted out high hyena laughs in triumph. Emily looked over the hoard of big bellied trolls and smiled with smug satisfaction.

She always knew these men were beneath her, and now she had proof. As she surveyed the chaos around her, she noticed Lily speaking quietly with several other patrons, their expressions ranging from shock to amusement. Again, varied. Emily started to wonder if something was wrong.

She scanned the crowd for Bob, and she found him.

"Aw, motherfucker." She drooped, not only was he not the fattest or the ugliest, he had taken his transformation well. Super well. He looked strong and powerful, his pot belly stood proud and full, with a soft, velvety fur coving it. He was admiring his new form, and some of the ladies around him took notice. Even Emily had to admit he looked great, just an ounce less attractive than Jack.

There was whispering and pointing, some jealousy too. But mostly awe and appreciation. He posed, flexing his bulging biceps and showing off his impressive package. It seemed like the transformation hadn't affected his ego at all.

Emily felt her anger rising again. How could these men be so selfish? Always putting their own needs before anyone else's. She shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts. This wasn't about her; it was about exposing the corrupt system that allowed these men to thrive. Something that wasn't working they way she had hoped.

She turned away in disgust and left, as the witches continued to laugh at the mad scene before them.

A month later, Emily was cuddled up in Jack's massive green arms. He had been brought on as the building's structural manager, and fixed everything what needed fixing, and he was paid handsomely for it. He moved out of his old place and in with Emily.

She loved having him around, especially since he was such a handyman. Jack could fix anything - from leaky pipes to broken furniture. He was strong, reliable, and incredibly considerate. Emily felt safe and secure with him around, and they quickly became inseparable.

Jack, however, was still struggling with his new reality. He was big and green and scary, but now, he was just another resident in the building, albeit a very large and strong one. He still wasn't ready to consumate his relationship with Emily, but she understood. It wasn't too long since he had been violated. He'd be ready sooner or later, and she was willing to wait for him.

He held her as they watched TV. That night had been a mixed bag. On one hand, they turned the richest men in the city into grotesque monsters. On the other, they had missed their mark. Badly.

The TV anchor women clucked like hens over the hot new craze that was sweeping the western world. Troll bods were now THE fashion for men. Large, muscular, powerful and above all, masculine, it took the fashion world by storm. They wrapped up the movement in Scandinavian sounding names and motifs, and sold the world Troll Bods wrapped up in a bow, gutting their political statement and wearing it's corpse as a frock.

The media lapped it up, creating articles dedicated to this new trend, calling it "the year of the troll". People were fascinated, intrigued by the sudden turn of events. Who wouldn't want to date a giant? Or, at least, try. And so began the age of the troll man, the incompatibility issue was solved fairly quickly, science had it's own miracles to give. 'Bob the Magnificent' spearheaded it all, later winning sexiest man of the year in a vote that was sure to be condemned by history in 20 to 30 years. Let him have his fun, his fame was on barrowed time.

The three witches made a fortune, by using the troll spell and by giving the cheaper option of turning men into ogres, which was sold as troll bod lite, basically, you got the most of the height, the muscles, the belly and the furry tummy, but not the green skin, the messed up face and the hunching posture. It too became popular, the silver to the troll's gold, with the added benefit of being less extreme, so if and when the fad ended, they'd still be reasonably normal. The ogre version was unreasonably popular in the upper Midwest for unknown reasons. Emily thought it had something to do with their winters.

No one could deny that they deserved every penny, even if the money was tainted. Greed fueled their fires, ambition guided their steps. Money was all that mattered, love was weakness. These were principles the women wholeheartedly believed in. Their motives weren't pure, but their intentions were good. The wanted to make a difference, create awareness, stand up against the oppressors. They were taking advantage of an opportunity, exploiting the situation to serve their cause, and yet, they had learned to appreciate men. They liked their business and their hard work. All the same they began work on a version for women or at least an equivalent. Sophia believed that women would want to be closer to harpies or sirens.

Emily saw all this, but she didn't care. She was happy. She had her happy little house troll, She enjoyed her life. She was able to rattle off fashion toot about trolls for the time being, and was able to put aside time to write a novel. Using her writing skills to her full abilities, with a loving and supportive boyfriend, she felt unstoppable.

Every day she sat down to write, her fingers danced across the keyboard, weaving magic on the page. The book came alive under her touch, pulsing with energy and passion. Emily poured her heart and soul into her work, creating characters that leapt off the page and into the hearts of readers. Her talent was undeniable, and soon enough, she had a bestseller on her hands.

But for right now, curled up with her soft, warm, strong, gentle troll boyfriend, she didn't want for anything in the world. She rested her head against his chest, she heard his powerful heart pound in his chest. she wrapped his muscular arms around her, kissed his hands, and they nodded off into the night.
