Chapter 2: Building Tension

The air outside the door was thick with the humid weight of the night, carrying the faintest trace of salt from the ocean, mingling with the musky scent of sweat and the lingering perfume of the resort’s guests. Shiven exhaled slowly, his breath curling in the warm, damp air like a ghost. The door to the twins’ room was slightly ajar, the glow of a dim lamp spilling out into the hallway, casting long, shifting shadows across the polished wood floor. He hesitated, his fingers brushing against the cool, smooth surface of the doorframe, feeling the faint vibration of laughter from within.

He could hear the soft rustle of fabric, the faint clink of glass, the low murmur of voices. He took a deep breath, the scent of perfume and something else—something warm and sweet—filling his lungs.

As he stood outside the room he saw mr Thompson on his way in his patrol search for students. Shiven quickly ducked back into the shadows, his heart pounding in his chest. He quickly knocked on the door , his knuckles barely touching the wood. The sound was muffled, swallowed by the laughter and clinking glasses from within. He waited, his breath held, listening to the faint rustling of fabric and the low, playful murmurs of the twins.

The door swung open suddenly, revealing Aadya’s striking face, her long brown hair slightly disheveled, her full lips curled into a mischievous grin. Behind her, Advika leaned against the doorframe, her eyes sparkling with amusement, her skimpy black dress clinging to her curves in a way that made Shiven’s pulse quicken.

“Shiven!” Aadya said, her voice a playful purr.

“You’re a little late for the party, sweetheart.”

Shiven’s gaze flicked between the two of them, his breath catching in his throat. The room was a symphony of chaos—lingerie draped over chairs, half-empty bottles of wine scattered across the coffee table, and the faint scent of something sweet and intoxicating—vanilla, maybe, or something more complex, like the twins’ own unique perfume. Aadya’s dress was so thin it might as well have been a second skin, the fabric clinging to every curve, every dip, every swell. Advika’s dress was even bolder, her cleavage spilling over the top, the hem riding dangerously high up her thighs.

"guys mr Thompson is searching for me can I please hide in your room" Shiven said, his voice barely above a whisper.

Aadya’s grin widened, her eyes glinting with mischief. "Oh, Shiven, you’re in luck. We were just about to start a game of hide and seek."

Advika pushed off the doorframe, her hips swaying slightly as she stepped forward. "And you’re the perfect hidey-hole."

Shiven’s pulse quickened, his mind racing with the possibilities. He stepped inside, the door closing behind him with a soft click. The room was warm, the air thick with the scent of their perfume and something else—something electric, like the promise of secrets and forbidden pleasures.

Shiven could feel the twins' eyes on him, their gazes like a physical touch, trailing down his body, lingering on the muscles of his arms, the curve of his hips, the bulge in his jeans. He swallowed hard, his mouth suddenly dry.

"Well, Shiven," Aadya said, her voice a low purr, "you know the rules. You have to hide. And we have to find you."

Advika smirked, her eyes gleaming with mischief. "But don't worry, sweetheart. We promise to make it worth your while if we catch you."

Shiven's heart pounded in his chest, his mind racing with the implications of their words.

"guys it's not a joke Mr Thompson will kill me if he finds me" Shiven said, his voice barely above a whisper.

Aadya's grin widened, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Oh, Shiven, always so serious. We're just having a little fun. But don't worry, we won't let Mr. Thompson catch you. Not if you play by our rules."

Advika stepped closer, her voice dropping to a sultry purr. "And our rules are simple. You hide, and we'll... find you. And when we do, you have to do whatever we say."

Shiven's breath caught in his throat, his pulse quickening at the promise in her voice. He knew he should say no, that he should walk away right now.
