My mother is dating my husband.

My husband is dating my mother.

I found out when my husband sent me a text one evening saying he was running late because his mother needed him. I waited an hour before sending him a text telling him I was ready for him. He didn't reply. Thirty minutes later, I heard pounding on our door.I didn't know anyone in the apartment and I hadn't seen anyone come and go, so I was a little worried. When I opened the door "I'm here!" my mother yelled through the door. "Stop hiding and come out!"

I sighed and closed the door. "What do you want?" I asked my mother.She stood at the bottom of the stairs and looked up at me. Her eyes were bloodshot and her hair was a frizzy mess on top of her head. "Why are you acting like this? You know I love you." I crossed my arms and stared daggers at her. "And I never said you could date my husband. That would be ridiculous.I don't even know your husband."

"Oh, but I know you, my sweetie," she said, stroking my hair. " Mama knows best' is what you say, and I know you think your father and I are foolish for getting married, but we know better than you. It takes two to tango, and we found each other.That's what love is." I took a deep breath and let it out again. "Now come out and stop hiding."

My mother didn't reply. She was waiting for me to come out so she could berate me for being in love with my husband. Instead, I sat in my room and cried. How could she not know?My husband had been trying to tell me something for months. What was it? Was he in love with my mother? Or was it just a physical attraction? I wanted to know. After all, they lived together. It was only logical that they would be intimate. But when I thought about it, it seemed illogical.
