Chapter 1: Exposition
Ashley stretched out on the sun-warmed concrete, her purple bikini barely big enough for her sizable breasts. She checked her phone for the billionth time, looking at the time while scrolling through her Instagram feed.
She sighed, placing the phone on her chest while she closed her eyes to the tickle of the sun on her face. It didn't take long for her neighbor to make an appearance from his side of the fence; it was like he had been waiting for her.
Kyle, with his tousled hair, a T-shirt and khaki shorts, looked every inch the budding photographer.
"Ashley, do you need something?" Kyle asked, seemingly amused at her impatience.
Her sunglasses shielded her eyes, still closed, as she gave him a sly smile. "Just wondering when we're starting the photo shoot."
A chuckle escaped him. "I thought you wanted to discuss the details first?
You know, locations, outfits, that kind of thing." Kyle tilted his head curiously, letting the breeze brush his strawberry-blonde hair off his forehead.
"Well, I had those plans all figured out." Ashley took off her sunglasses, her deep hazel eyes alight with determination. "I just wanted the go-ahead. So..." she trailed off, a hint of nervousness creeping into her voice, "is it a yes or a no?"
Kyle looked thoughtful for a moment. "I supposed it couldn't hurt to try.
I mean, I do have all the equipment and I don't have any plans for the day," Kyle finally answered, a faint smile playing on his lips.
Ashley practically jumped from her lounging position like she had received the most exciting news of her life. "So, we're on?" she asked, eyebrows raised. "We're really doing this photo shoot?"
Rolling his eyes playfully, Kyle nodded. "Yes, yes.
