Chapter 11: Break into Three
The cops ask Nora questions but she's barely listening just enough to absentmindedly answer, meanwhile her mind is reminicing the days events.
She's was thinking about the electric mix of violation and satisfaction she had felt, and how that had led to an intense climax.
The woman's scornful voice is the only thing that brings her back to reality. "We have video evidence of your actions." Nora's heart skips a beat as she remembers the cameras in the alleys and on the streets. The cops must have seen everything.
"Why did you do this?" The woman continues, her tone dripping with disgust.
"You sicken me, Mrs. Winters. Why couldn't you just behave like a normal woman and not indulge in these dangerous and perverse desires? "
Nora bites back a retort, instead choosing to remain silent as she struggles against the cuffs that bind her wrists. She studies the cop's face, noting the hardened lines that run across her brow and the cold, calculating gaze that holds her prisoner.
The woman, Detective Kelly, tightens her grip on the folder in her hand, her fingers digging into the documents within.
"Do you deny that these images show you, Mrs. Winters, engaging in lewd acts in public?" she asks, holding up the file as if to prove her point.
Nora scoffs at the question, unable to contain her laughter anymore. "You really want to know why I did it?" she says, meeting the detective's gaze head-on. "It's simple, really. I did it because I wanted to."
Detective Kelly's face hardens. "That is not an acceptable answer."
Nora shrugs.
"It's the truth" Nora says nonchalantly, afterall it's the truth. "I realized that I didn't care about my life before or who I was before. I awakened to my own desires and decided to follow them." Talking about her desires making Nora's holes tighten in need.
Nora's statement hangs in the air, heavy with implications. Detective Kelly looks at her, almost as if she's trying to understand Nora's motives.
" You know that your actions have consequences, don't you?" Detective Kelly says finally, breaking the silence. " There are laws in place to protect the public from this type of behavior."
Nora nods her head, acknowledging the detective's words. " I understand that, but I can't help how I feel.
This is who I am now, and I won't apologize for it," Nora says, her voice firm and unwavering.
Detective Kelly sighs, running a hand through her short hair. " Look, I get it. You're feeling liberated and alive, but you need to understand that what you did was illegal," she says, trying to reason with Nora.
" It's not just about the law, Mrs. Winters. It's about respecting the people around you and their boundaries. By engaging in such acts in public, you're disregarding their personal space and invading their privacy. It's selfish behavior, and it needs to stop." Detective Kelly's words hung heavy in the air.
Nora sighed, understanding the detective's point of view but not willing to back down. "What if I told you that I can't help the way I feel? I can't change who I am, no matter how much you or anyone else wants me to. I need this, Detective Kelly."
The interrogation continues like such for a few back forths further until finally they call enough as enough and bring Nora back to her holding cell for now. Nora sits down on the bench and starts thinking about the reasons behind her actions today, the memories causing her to get horny, she quickly undresses fully as she masturbates fingering her holes absent mindedly as she continues pondering the nature of her new self.
