Chapter 1: Introduction
The WWE Women's Division had taken over the private island paradise, their laughter ringing against the azure sky as they reveled in their escape from the harsh glare of fame. There was nothing as refreshing as a week of sun, sea, and debauchery. Away from the wolves, the cameras, and a thousand demanding fans.
Stephanie McMahon threw her head back, chugging her second margarita. Jesus Christ, this was better than raw sewage.
But when in Rome, right? Stephanie McMahon thought as she wiped her mouth with the back of her hand, catching the eye of Renee Young, who looked equally drunk and content. They exchanged a knowing grin, their bond strengthened by countless battles and shared victories.
Nikki Bella approached them, her long brown hair swaying as she smiled at her friends, "Who's ready to get laid?" she joked, sparking a burst of laughter. Stephanie's gaze settled on Brie Bella, who stood off to the side, her eyes soft but distant.
It was easy to forget that Brie, too, had once been the most popular Diva on the roster. That her beauty and strength had once held the entire WWE Universe captive. Age had not diminished her allure-her body was a temple of toned muscle and grace, a reminder of the countless hours spent in the ring.
Renee Young, the newest addition to the group, sauntered over to join the conversation, her hips sashaying in her signature way.
"Well, if we're talking about laying someone, how about we lay the island itself?" she suggested, winking at the deepening twilight. Her laughter was a symphony of freedom and rebellion, a siren song that seemed to echo through the dense palms.
Stephanie gave Renee a lofty raise of her manicured eyebrow, "Well, isn't that the spirit." She glanced around at the sprawling property, the pristine luxury, and wondered how much of it was a façade.
The five women were alone on this island, and Stephanie couldn't shake the feeling that there were secrets lurking beneath the surface. Though, she kept her musings to herself. It would do no good to rile up the rest of her friends, not when they needed their heads clear for a week of uninhibited hedonism.
A soft sea breeze gently whispered in her ear, and Stephanie shivered, feeling the goosebumps prickle along her toned arm. The air held a strange, clammy caress that made her uneasy.
