Chapter 1: Rising Action
Alex threw his car keys onto the kitchen counter and kicked his shoes off. The weight of the world seemed to slide off his shoulders the moment he entered his apartment. He could already feel cold AC spraying from the air vents. It was cold in the spring, but he liked it better than the sticky NYC heat. It felt like a blanket as he strolled through his apartment, running his hand over the granite countertops.
He had designed this place himself, down to the last cold, sleek tile in the bathroom.
He had put a lot of thought into every last detail, weaving every thread and strand of his personality into the fabrics, the fixtures, the stainless-steel accents. This was his masterpiece.
Theo, his latest date, trailed behind him. Alex heard the sound of Theo's soft footsteps, the soft clink of his necklaces against his collarbones. He paused, before letting Theo to catch up.
"Hey." Theo grinned, nervously glancing around the room.
Apart from the faint sound of traffic floating up from the streets below, the apartment was silent. "
"This place is amazing," Theo whispered. "So open, so"
" Big " Alex chuckled, walking down a hallway lined with framed paintings. "That was the idea. Tour's just about over though. My bedroom's this way."
Theo followed Alex down the hall, his gaze trailing over the tall windows that displayed a stunning view of the city. This" Alex gestured to the bed.
"is where the magic happens."
"This bedroom," Theo whispered carefully, as if afraid his voice would break the spell that had fallen over the space. He spun around, his eyes catching sight of the enormous painting hanging over Alex's bed, a vibrant explosion of colors. He reached out and ran a hand over the canvas. "What's the story behind this one?"
"Just a little something I picked up at an art fair," Alex said vaguely, smiling at Theo. "But I bought it for you, Theo," he said, his voice lowering.
Stepping closer, Theo's body grazed Alex's and he could feel the fascinating heat radiating off him. "I thought it would look perfect in this room."
"It does." Theo blinked, pressing his lips together tightly, like he was trying to hold something in.
The silence hung in the air between them, heavy with anticipation. Instead of breaking it, Alex leaned in just a little closer. He could smell Theo's cologne, a mix of citrus and mint.
They start to fuck , their bodies moving in a steady rhythm.
Alex's hands gripped Theo's hips, pulling him closer as they moved in sync with each other.
They were in their own world, the sounds of the city below them forgotten.
Alex could feel himself losing control, his breathing shallow and ragged.
He reached up and tangled his fingers in Theo's hair, pulling him down for a kiss.
As they kissed, Alex could feel every curve and line of Theo's body, like a map of intimacies.
He went deeper, his thrusts becoming wilder.
Theo's back arched against Alex, his soft moans increasing in volume. Alex liked the sound, the noises Theo made as they moved together, the way all of him trembled beneath Alex's grip. It had always been like this between them, this simmering, unspoken heat. Theo hadn't had to say anything, Alex could feel the pull of him, a magnetic force that allured him to him constantly.
Alex broke the kiss, panting heavily against Theo's cheek.
