Chapter 1: Introduction
His space ship touched down on earth with a thunderous boom, sending shockwaves through the ground. The crowd outside the grand tournament arena gasped as the dust settled, revealing a figure that towered over the landscape. Negi stepped out, his spiky blonde orange hair standing on end like a crown of fire, his golden eyes scanning the horizon with predatory hunger.
The Saiyan warrior’s muscles rippled beneath his sleek, form-fitting armor, each movement calculated, deliberate. He exhaled sharply, the air around him shimmering with raw power. The very air seemed to tremble in his presence.
The crowd fell silent.
Then, chaos erupted.
Whispers turned to shouts, shouts to screams. Some ran. Some hid.
Others froze, their eyes locked on the towering warrior who had just descended from the sky like a god of destruction. The Grand Tournament Arena, once a place of celebration, now felt like the edge of a battlefield. The cracked marble floor, still bearing the scars of past battles, seemed to tremble beneath Negi’s boots as he strode forward, his presence commanding the space.
A voice cut through the murmurs—deep, confident, and laced with amusement.
"Well, well. Looks like we’ve got a new player."
Negi’s sharp gaze snapped toward the sound. A man stood at the center of the arena, his stance relaxed, his grin easy.
He was shorter than Negi, his dark hair tousled as if he’d just rolled out of bed, but his golden eyes sparkled with mischief. The crowd parted around him like water, their tension easing slightly in his presence. He raised a hand in a lazy salute.
**"Name’s Goku. You here for the tournament?"**
Negi’s lip curled. **"Tournament?"** He spat the word like it was an insult. **"This is no tournament. This is a slaughterhouse."**
Goku chuckled, unfazed. **"Oh, you think you’re that tough, huh?"**
Negi’s fingers twitched at his sides. **"I don’t think. I know," Negi says disapering and knocking Goku into space.
He lands on the moon with a thud.
---
The crowd gasps as Goku’s body disappears from the arena in a blur. A beat of stunned silence follows, then—
**"WHAT THE—"**
The spectators erupt into pandemonium. Some scream. Others laugh nervously, as if this is some elaborate prank. A few brave souls clutch their heads, muttering about "Saiyan bullshit" under their breath.
Negi doesn’t even glance at the chaos. He just stands there, arms crossed, his golden eyes scanning the horizon with the patience of a predator waiting for its prey to resurface.
The crowd’s panic was almost amusing. Almost.
A few seconds later, a familiar black figure came hurtling back down from the sky, landing in a controlled crouch right in front of Negi. Goku popped up, dusting himself off with a grin. **"Nice throw. But you missed."**
Negi’s jaw tightened. **"Impossible."**
Goku shrugged. **"Eh, happens. You ever try throwing someone that far and actually hitting them?"**
Negi’s fingers curled into fists. **"I don’t miss."**
**"Well, you just did,"** Goku said, tilting his head. **"Or maybe I just don’t like being thrown around like a ragdoll"**
Negi scanned the crow spying two females that caught his attention.
A woman with blue hair and the other with black hair in a ponytail.
Their eyes were sharp, assessing, and Negi could feel the weight of their gazes on him. The blue-haired woman smirked, crossing her arms. **"Well, well. Look what the cat dragged in."**
The black-haired woman, her ponytail swaying as she stepped forward, added, **"A Saiyan. And not just any Saiyan—one who thinks he can just waltz in here and throw people around."**
Negi’s gaze flicked between them, his arrogance momentarily faltering. He had expected fear, submission—anything but this casual defiance.
The blue-haired woman’s smirk deepened, and the black-haired one’s eyes gleamed with challenge. Negi’s fingers twitched at his sides, his instincts screaming at him to wipe that smirk off her face.
But before he could act, Goku clapped him on the shoulder—hard. **"Hey, don’t mind them. They’re just jealous you got the fancy hair."**
Negi’s eyes narrowed. **"Jealous?"**
**"Oh yeah,"** Goku said, nodding sagely. **"Everyone’s always been jealous of my hair. It’s a real problem."**
The black-haired woman rolled her eyes.
**"Oh, please. Your hair’s fine. It’s his that’s the problem."**
The blue-haired woman nodded in agreement. **"Yeah, it’s like a fire hazard just waiting to happen."**
Negi’s fingers twitched. **"You two have no idea who you’re talking to."**
Goku chuckled, shaking his head. **"Relax, Negi. They’re just messing with you. Right, ladies?"**
The black-haired woman smirked. **"Maybe. Or maybe we’re just calling it like we see it."**
Negi’s golden eyes flickered with irritation. **"I don’t care what you think. I came here to destroy this planet, but I will leave it alone if you agree to fight me"** Negi says looking at Goku **"If I win those two leave with me"** he says pointing at Bulma and Chi-Chi.
**"And if I lose I will leave this planet alone forever"**
Goku’s eyes widened slightly before he burst into laughter. **"Oh, you’ve got to be kidding me!"** He wiped a tear from his eye, still grinning. **"You want to take *them* with you? Buddy, you’ve got another thing coming."**
Bulma crossed her arms, her blue hair swaying as she tilted her head. **"Excuse me? Who do you think you are, just strolling in here and making demands?"**
Chi-Chi’s eyes narrowed, her ponytail whipping behind her as she stepped forward.
**"Oh, you want to take *me*?"** Her voice was sharp, cutting through the tension like a blade. **"You don’t even know what you’re asking for."**
Negi’s golden eyes locked onto hers, unblinking. **"I know exactly what I want."** His voice was low, a growl that rumbled through the arena. **"Strength. Power. And you—"** he gestured toward Bulma and Chi-Chi, **"—are the strongest women on this planet. I can *feel* it."**
Bulma let out a sharp, disbelieving laugh. **"Oh, *please*.
"** Bulma’s smirk was razor-sharp, her blue eyes glinting with amusement as she stepped forward, her heels clicking against the cracked marble. **"You think flattery is going to get you anywhere?"**
Negi’s gaze didn’t waver. **"I don’t flatter. I state facts."** His voice was low, rough, the kind of tone that didn’t leave room for argument. **"You’re strong. Both of you."**
Chi-Chi let out a derisive snort, crossing her arms over her chest. **"And what makes you think we’d *want* to go anywhere with you?"**
Negi’s lips twitched—almost a smile, but not quite.
**"Because I will win, now do we have a deal"** he says looking at Goku .
Goku’s grin didn’t falter, but his eyes flickered with something sharper, something more dangerous. **"Deal. But let’s make this interesting."** He cracked his knuckles, rolling his shoulders like he was loosening up for a sparring match. **"If you win, you get what you want. But if I win, you leave Earth alone—for good."**
Negi’s golden eyes gleamed. **"Agreed. Now show me your full power"** Negi Demanded .
Goku’s grin widened, and he cracked his knuckles with a sharp *pop*. **"Oh, you want the full show? You got it."**
The air around him shimmered, his energy flaring like a supernova. The crowd gasped, stumbling back as the sheer force of his aura pressed against them. Even Negi’s smirk faltered for a fraction of a second—just long enough for Goku to vanish in a blur of motion.
A *crack* echoed through the arena as Goku’s fist connected with Negi’s jaw, but Negi was unpashed.
His head barely moved, his golden eyes flashing with amusement rather than pain. **"Good,"** he rumbled, rolling his shoulders. **"But not good enough."**
Goku didn’t even have time to react before Negi’s fist slammed into his chest, sending him flying backward. The crowd screamed as Goku skidded across the cracked marble, leaving a deep furrow in his wake. He hit the far wall with a *thud*, his body leaving a dent in the stone before he dropped to the ground.
For a second, there was silence.
Then, Goku groaned, pushing himself up with a grin. **"Oof.
That actually hurt."** Goku rubbed his chest, wincing as he stood up straight. His grin didn’t falter, though—if anything, it widened, as if the pain had only made him more excited. **"Alright, alright, I get it. You hit hard."**
Negi’s golden eyes gleamed with satisfaction. **"And you hit like a child."**
**"Oh, you think so?"** Goku stretched his arms overhead, cracking his neck with an audible *pop*. **"Let’s see how you handle this."**
Before Negi could react, Goku vanished again—this time, his fist came from *below* but Negi had grabbed his first snacking him into the ring like he was a doll.
He smashed him harder and harder with each slam .
The crowd roared, their voices a wild, chaotic symphony of awe and terror. Some clutched their heads, others gripped the edges of their seats, knuckles white. A few brave souls cheered, their voices lost in the storm of energy crackling between the two warriors.
Goku’s body hit the ground one last time, his laughter echoing through the arena as he pushed himself up again. **"Alright, alright—"** he wheezed, wiping blood from his lip with the back of his hand, **"—you’ve got a point. Maybe I *did* underestimate you."**
Negi loomed over him, his golden eyes burning with triumph.
**"If this is your full power, you don't want to see mine"** Negi stated .
Goku chuckled, wiping blood from his split lip with the back of his hand. **"Oh, I think I do."** He cracked his knuckles, rolling his shoulders like he was just warming up. **"You hit hard, I’ll give you that. But you still haven’t seen *everything*."**
The air around Goku shimmered, his energy flaring brighter than before. The crowd gasped as his body began to glow, the golden aura intensifying until it was blinding. Negi’s smirk faltered—just for a second—before he bared his teeth in a snarl.
**"Do you really wish to see my full power, not even Frieza could handle it"** Negi stated .
Goku’s grin didn’t waver. **"Oh, I *love* a good challenge."** His voice was light, almost playful, but the energy radiating from him was anything but. The golden aura around him pulsed like a second heartbeat, the air itself trembling with the sheer force of it.
Negi’s fingers twitched at his sides. **"Then let me show you why I am feared across the galaxy."**
The air around him *rippled*, his own energy flaring in response. The crowd gasped as his body began to glow, the golden light intensifying until it was almost blinding. The very ground beneath them trembled, cracks spiderwebbing outward from where they stood.
In a moment his hair turn from orange to pink an wave of energy surges through the arena blasting everyone back.
The crowd screamed as the sheer force of Negi’s aura sent spectators tumbling like leaves in a hurricane. The grandstands shook, dust and debris raining down from the crumbling ceiling. Somewhere in the chaos, a woman shrieked, "What the hell is happening?!"
Goku, however, didn’t even flinch. He stood his ground, his golden eyes gleaming with excitement rather than fear. "Whoa! That’s some serious power you’ve got there!" His voice carried easily over the wind, unnaturally calm. "But you know what? I think I can top that!"
Negi’s golden eyes narrowed.
**"This is only 5 percent of my power"** Negi says disapering and hitting Goku straight on with an energy blast.
The blast hits Goku and sends him flying into the stands. The crowd screams as Goku crashes into the stands, sending wooden benches flying in every direction. Goku groans as he pushes himself up, his body aching from the impact. He looks down at his hands, which are shaking slightly from the force of the blast.
**"Wow,"** Goku says, wiping blood from his lip with the back of his hand. **"That was… impressive."**
Negi’s golden eyes gleam with satisfaction. **"And that was only a fraction of my strength."**
Goku chuckles, cracking his neck. **"Yeah, yeah, I get it. You’re strong. But you know what?
I’ve always loved a good challenge." Goku’s grin was sharp, and his golden eyes sparkled with a mischievous glint. He rolled his shoulders, the golden aura around him pulsing brighter, more intense. "Alright, Negi. Let’s see what you’ve really got."
Negi’s lip curled into a smirk. **"You are a fool."**
**"Maybe,"** Goku said with a shrug, **"but I’m a fool who’s about to make you eat those words."**
The air around Goku shimmered violently, his energy flaring like a supernova. The crowd gasped as the sheer force of his power pressed against them, threatening to knock them off their feet.
The ground trembled beneath their feet, and the arena’s ancient stone walls groaned under the strain. The spectators, once a roaring sea of noise, now fell into stunned silence, their eyes wide with a mixture of awe and terror.
Negi’s golden eyes narrowed as he watched Goku’s energy surge. **"You’re not afraid?"**
Goku’s grin widened, his golden aura pulsing like a living thing. **"Nah, fear’s not really my style. But I *am* curious—how much stronger can you get?"**
Before Goku knew it he Negi disappeard and knocked out Goku with a single punch.
Goku landed in the stands and the crowd gasped.
The crowd erupted into chaos. Some screamed, others clutched their heads in disbelief, and a few brave souls actually *cheered*, as if this were some grand spectacle rather than a battle that could shatter the planet. The grandstands shook violently, dust and debris raining down from the crumbling ceiling. Somewhere in the distance, a woman shrieked, "Oh my God, he *one-shotted him*!"
Negi stood in the center of the arena, his golden eyes scanning the wreckage with cold satisfaction. His chest heaved slightly—not from exertion, but from the sheer thrill of victory.
**"Mmm, this.....was boring"** Negi says powering down and walking towards the stands.
The crowd parted like the Red Sea as he strode forward, his boots crushing broken marble beneath him. The air still hummed with residual energy, the scent of ozone and sweat thick in the air. Some spectators scrambled away, others froze in place, their eyes wide with a mix of terror and fascination.
Negi didn’t spare them a glance. His attention was fixed on the two women who had caught his eye earlier—Bulma and Chi-Chi. They stood side by side, arms crossed, their expressions unreadable. Bulma’s blue hair shimmered under the arena lights, her sharp eyes locked onto him with a mix of defiance and curiosity.
Chi-Chi stood beside her, her ponytail swaying as she crossed her arms, her expression unreadable but her stance unyielding.
Negi stopped just a few feet away, his golden eyes flicking between them. **"So,"** he said, his voice low and rough, **"you two are coming with me."**
Bulma arched a brow. **"Oh, really?"** Her tone was dry, amused. **"And what makes you think we’d *want* to?"**
Negi smirked. **"Because I won."** He tilted his head slightly, studying them. **"And because I *chose* you."**
Chi-Chi let out a sharp laugh.
**"Oh, you *chose* us?"** She stepped forward, her ponytail whipping behind her like a battle flag. **"You arrogant—"**
Bulma cut her off, her blue eyes narrowing as she studied Negi. **"Hold on, Chi-Chi."** She tilted her head, considering. **"He *did* win fair and square."**
Negi’s smirk deepened. **"Exactly."**
Chi-Chi threw her hands up. **"Are you *serious* right now?!"**
Bulma shrugged. **"I mean, he’s not wrong. If he won, he gets what he wants."** She turned to Negi, her gaze sharp.
**"But let’s get one thing straight—we’re not just *going* with you. We’re *choosing* to go with you. And if you think for one second that means you get to boss us around, you’ve got another thing coming."**
Negi’s smirk faltered for just a second—just long enough for Bulma to see the flicker of surprise in his golden eyes. Then it was gone, replaced by that same arrogant confidence.
**"You’re coming with me,"** he repeated, as if that settled everything.
Chi-Chi scoffed.
"**
Negi’s golden eyes gleamed with amusement. And because I *chose* you."**
Bulma arched a brow. And what exactly do you think you’re getting out of this?"**
Negi’s smirk deepened. **"A challenge."**
Chi-Chi crossed her arms. **"A challenge? You think we’re some kind of prize to be won?"**
Negi’s gaze flicked between them, assessing."**
Bulma let out a sharp laugh.
