Trixie was a petite pleasant college student from a pleasant small town. However, a new couple moving next door slowly changes Trixie, and the town.

Chapter 1: Book I: Voices

Trixie 's lamp cast a warm glow over her desk, illuminating the pages of her psychology textbook. She tapped her pencil against her notepad, underlining key points as she read. The quiet hum of her parents' house was comforting, a familiar symphony of ticking clocks and distant hums. But tonight, a new melody intruded, seeping through the thin walls of her bedroom.

Voices. The neighbors.

She'd barely noticed them moving in next door. A quick hello, a friendly wave, and that was it. Now, their words floated through the air, reaching her ears like a tantalizing whisper.

Trixie paused, pencil mid-air, as she tried to make out what they were saying. It was a man and a woman, their voices intertwining in a way that made her curious.

The man, Theo, she thought his name was, had a deep, smooth voice that seemed to resonate. It was the kind of voice that could make even the most mundane words sound intriguing. Luna, his partner, had a lighter, more playful tone. Their conversation was a dance, a back-and-forth that was as engaging as it was mysterious.

The words slowly began to become more primal, almost grunts , and their voices grew louder, more intense. Trixie felt a strange sensation in her stomach, a fluttering she had never experienced before. She found herself leaning in, her heart pounding in her chest, as if she was on the edge of a secret, a world hidden just beyond her reach.

Suddenly, Theo's voice rose, a low growl that sent a shiver down Trixie's spine.

"You know I love it when you talk like that, Luna," he said, his voice laced with a hunger that Trixie couldn't quite understand. She felt her cheeks flush, an unfamiliar warmth spreading through her.

Luna's laugh was like music, light and carefree. "And you know I love pushing your buttons, Theo," she replied, her voice taking on a sultry edge that made Trixie's heart race. There was a pause, and then Luna's voice dropped to a whisper, too low for Trixie to make out the words.

But she could hear the soft rustling of fabric, the creaking of bedsprings, and her imagination filled in the blanks. She bit her lip, her eyes wide, as she tried to process the feelings coursing through her. It was all so new, so different from anything she'd ever experienced.

She should look away, she knew. She should close her curtains, retreat into her books, and forget about the mysterious couple next door. But she couldn't. She was like a moth drawn to a flame, unable to resist the pull of their enigmatic world.

Every whisper, every soft moan that floated through the wall was a puzzle piece clicking into place, revealing a picture she hadn't known she wanted to see. It was raw, it was real, and it was unlike anything she'd ever encountered in her small-town life.

Trixie found herself leaning back in her chair, her book forgotten, as she listened. Their conversation had shifted again, Theo's voice now a low rumble, Luna's a sweet, breathy melody. They were talking about something deep, something profound, yet Trixie couldn't quite grasp the words.

"What should we change first?" Theo asked, his voice a low rumble that seemed to vibrate through the wall and into Trixie's very core. She could almost see him, his strong hands running through his dark hair, his eyes intense as he looked at Luna.

Luna's response was soft, almost a sigh. "You know we can't change the past, Theo. It's the future we need to focus on."

Trixie's mind raced as she tried to decipher their words. What past? What future? She felt a pang of guilt for eavesdropping, but the magnetic pull of their conversation was too strong to resist.

Trixie found herself wanting to know more about these strangers who had moved in next door, who seemed to have a life so different from her own.

"Well, I am a breast man. We could cast..." Theo's voice trailed off, and Luna's laughter filled the room, a sound so free and uninhibited that Trixie couldn't help but smile. She found herself leaning in again, her curiosity piqued.

"What are you doing, Theo?" Luna asked, her voice playful. "Planning our next movie already?"

"Well, darling, we do need something to keep us occupied while we're stuck here," Theo replied, his voice a low purr. "And I do love a good challenge."

Trixie's mind raced as she tried to make sense of their words. Movie? Challenge?

Trixie's brow furrowed as she tried to fit this new piece into the puzzle. She glanced at her psychology textbook, the open page mocking her sudden lack of focus. She was supposed to be studying, not eavesdropping on her neighbors' cryptic conversation. Yet, here she was, her heart pounding with a mix of curiosity and guilt.

"Oh, Theo," Luna sighed, her voice taking on a dreamy quality. "You and your challenges. Remember what happened last time?"

Theo chuckled, a deep, rumbling sound that seemed to hold a hundred memories. "How could I forget?

It was... educational," Theo replied, his voice laced with amusement. Trixie could almost see the smirk on his face, the way his eyes would crinkle at the corners when he smiled. She shook her head, trying to dislodge the image, but it lingered, as stubborn as it was intriguing.

Luna's laugh was like a melody, sweet and light. "Educational, huh? Is that what we're calling it now?" she teased. There was a pause, and then she continued, her voice dropping to a lower, more serious tone. "Alright, since you like to repeat history, apparently, breasts it is," Luna said, her voice tinged with mock exasperation. "But this time, it's going to be different, slower, more subtle. We're not just going to focus on the surface. We're going to delve deeper."

Trixie's curiosity was now a burning flame inside her. She couldn't help but wonder what they were talking about. She had never heard anyone speak like this, with such depth and intensity. It was like they were speaking a language she was only just beginning to understand.

Trixie bit her lip, her mind racing as she tried to decipher their words. The room felt warmer, the air thicker, as if their conversation was tangible, a force that filled the space between them.

Suddenly, Theo's voice changed, becoming softer, more intimate as he started a near incomprehensible chant, " In nomine Patri, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti..."

Trixie's eyes widened. She had heard those words before, in the old movies her parents liked to watch. Latin. But why was Theo speaking in Latin? And why did Luna respond in kind, her voice a sweet echo? She could barely make in out, but she swore she heard the Latin word for... breasts.

Trixie gasped, her eyes wide, as the realization sank in. She wasn't just eavesdropping on a conversation; she was inadvertently listening to something far more intimate. She should have stopped then, should have closed her curtains and retreated into her books. But she didn't. She was frozen, her heart pounding in her chest, as she tried to process what she was hearing.

Theo's voice grew deeper, more resonant, as he continued his chant. It was like nothing Trixie had ever heard, a symphony of words that seemed to vibrate through the wall and into her very soul.

She could feel the power in Theo's voice, the way it seemed to wrap around her, pulling her in. His words were like a spell, a incantation that she couldn't resist.

Luna's voice joined his, a harmony that sent shivers down Trixie's spine. They were speaking in Latin, their voices intertwining in a way that was both beautiful and terrifying. Trixie didn't understand the words, but she could feel their meaning, a primal, ancient force that seemed to stir something deep within her.

Her vision began to blur, and she barely got up and over to her bed before her legs gave out. She sat there, her heart pounding in her chest, as she tried to make sense of what was happening. Was she dreaming? Was this some bizarre hallucination brought on by too much studying and not enough sleep?

She pinched herself, hard, but the pain was real, and the voices continued to wash over her, their Latin chant growing louder, more insistent. She could feel it in her bones, a pulsing energy that seemed to vibrate through her body, making her feel alive in a way she never had before.

With a gasp, dizziness overtook her and she slumped onto her bed, her vision swimming. She tried to grab onto something, anything, but her hands found only the soft fabric of her comforter. She could hear her heartbeat in her ears, a steady drumbeat that seemed to echo the rhythm of Theo and Luna's chant.

As suddenly as it had begun, the chant ended. The room fell silent, the only sound the distant hum of a car driving by outside. Trixie took a deep breath, her lungs expanding as she tried to fill them with air. She felt drained, exhausted, as if she had just run a marathon.

Her body ached, a dull throb that seemed to echo the lingering remnants of Theo and Luna's chant. She lay there for a moment, her eyes closed, as she tried to gather her thoughts. What had just happened? She had never felt anything like it, never even imagined such a thing was possible.

Slowly, she pushed herself up, her limbs heavy as she swung her legs over the side of the bed. She stood on shaky legs, her body still trembling from the aftermath of whatever it was she had experienced. She made her way to the window, her footsteps silent on the thick carpet.

She needed to see them, to put a face to the voices that had invaded her senses. She pulled back the curtain, her heart pounding in her chest as she peered out into the night.

Their house was dark, the windows reflecting the silver moonlight like mirrors. She could see Theo's silhouette, his broad shoulders and strong arms unmistakable even in the dim light. He was pacing, his hands running through his hair, his body tense. Luna was nowhere to be seen.

Trixie watched as Theo stopped pacing, his head snapping up as if he could feel her gaze.

He turned towards her window, his eyes searching the darkness. Trixie held her breath, her heart pounding in her chest as she waited for him to find her. But instead of looking at her, he looked through her, his eyes focused on something behind her.

"Sleep tight," he whispered , his voice barely audible, yet it resonated in Trixie's ears like a command. Before she could react, he turned away, disappearing into the shadowy depths of his house.

Trixie stood there, her eyes wide, her heart pounding. She felt a shiver run down her spine, a mixture of fear and exhilaration. Had he really seen her, or was he just talking to himself? And why did his words make her feel so... odd?

She closed the curtains, her hands trembling, and turned away from the window.

Her room felt different now, charged with an energy she couldn't quite understand. She looked at her psychology textbook, the open page mocking her. Studying suddenly seemed like a distant, unimportant task.

Trixie climbed into bed, pulling the covers up to her chin. She lay there, staring at the ceiling, her mind racing. She couldn't shake off the image of Theo's silhouette, the intensity in his voice when he'd whispered, "Sleep tight." It was as if he was trying to tell her something, a secret message hidden in those two simple words.

She closed her eyes and....
