Chapter 1: Introduction
Dorjee sashayed into the classroom with the air of someone destined for greatness. Her crimson lips curved in a sly smile as she took in the sea of eager male faces, gawking at her like she was the morning sun breaking through the horizon. Beneath her designer dress, her exotic features and curves screamed: carefully crafted, tastefully displayed. The room never failed to buzz with a heady mixture of intrigue and desire as the enigmatic Dorjee, daughter of a prominent Tibetan business tycoon, walked in.
She was the only woman in a class full of men training to be dentists in one of Delhi's oldest dental colleges. A perfect amalgamation of Tibetan and Indian heritage, her intoxicating aura effortlessly bewitched all who came too close, tempting them to glimpse her hidden depths as if peering into a recently drilled cavity.
She slid into her seat next to John, her boyfriend and co-conspirator through the labyrinth of dental school.
They exchanged knowing glances and a quick peck on the cheek before John turned his attention back to the professor's lecture on oral pathology. Their chemistry was almost tangible -- an electric cacophony that pulsed between them like the steady beat of her heart during a long examination. But for Dorjee, a lightning bolt was about to strike in the form of a new classmate.
"Hey," a soft voice whispered behind her, snapping her out of her reverie. "Dorjee, right?
I'm Ravi," the dark-skinned stranger added in a conspiratorial tone. His eyes gleamed with a mixture of curiosity and something more intense as they slid over her hourglass figure. "I just moved here from Mumbai, starting fresh in this clinical labyrinth of white tiles and stainless steel."
She glanced at the newcomer, furrowing her brows. "Oh, nice to meet you, Ravi. I hope you find your way around," she said with a light chuckle.
"It's easy to get lost in the maze of dental tools, equipment, and endless corridors lined with drills, extractors, and other tools of our gruesome dental trade."
"Lost? Me?" Ravi grinned, a lock of black hair falling onto his forehead. "I think I'm going to like it here. I've always had a knack for finding my way into the most interesting situations – especially when I find the most intriguing person in the room."
Dorjee felt a blush creep up her neck at his flirtatious words.
Her eyes flickered in John's direction, but he seemed engrossed in the lecture, oblivious to the magnetic pull of their new classmate.
Ravi leaned closer, fixing her with an intense gaze. "You have an aura of mystery about you, Dorjee. I can't wait to explore the depths that lie beneath those captivating eyes."
She felt her heart skip a beat at his bold words, but the sophisticated side of her mind dismissed him as a simple flirt.
She turned back to her studies, determined to ignore his advances and focus on her dental education.
But Ravi was persistent, biding his time and waiting for the perfect moment to make his move. During lab sessions, he would sneak glances at Dorjee, his dark eyes burning with an intensity that set her nerves on edge. And whenever they passed in the hallways, he would make a point to walk beside her, whispering suggestive comments into her ear or playfully grazing his knuckles against her side.
