Chapter 1: Chapter 1
Two brothers, one 7’1 and the other 5’7, were sitting in a bar. The 7’1 brother was wearing a pair of size 20 shoes and the 5’7 brother was in a pair of size 7 shoes. They were drinking pitchers of beer and watching the game on TV.The older brother kept teasing the younger one about his small feet.
“Hey, you can’t say my feet are small. ”
“Why not? They are.”
“No, they aren’t. Look at my hands. See how big they are? That means my feet are big too.Look at my feet. See how small they are? That means my hands are small.”
“It’s a big un, this foot thing. I have big feet and hands. My wife loves it. She says it makes me look like a giant among midgets.”
This made the younger brother laugh and he downed his beer.The older brother kept on teasing him.
“I don’t know. I just think it’s funny that you can get your foot into a size 7 shoe but can fit into my 20s. How does that work?”
A woman and her boyfriend were sitting next to them.The boyfriend kept staring at the younger brother’s feet. The woman kept staring at the older brother’s hand.
“ Tis a mystery,” the younger brother said with a grin. He was drunk and his speech was slurred.
“Yeah, it is.”
And with that, the conversation died.
