Sonic the blue hedgehog was on the run. He had just escaped from the clutches of the evil Dr. Eggman, the voice of the news caster said. 'In his escape, he damaged several vehicles and, most tragically, a power plant. The plant exploded, showering the area with toxic waste that poisoned many of the animals and humans in the area.In the chaos that followed, several people went missing, presumed dead. The government declared a state of emergency and deployed the military to the region. The war" was over in a matter of days. The military took control of the region and set up checkpoints every few miles. Everyone had to pass through these checkpoints to be able to travel, and those who didn't have the proper papers were arrested.The government put up signs warning of the dangers of radiation, but no one cared. Everyone was just glad to be free.
