Chapter 1: Introduction
Denny swaggered into the dimly lit bar, the heavy thud of his boots echoing through the empty room. He threw himself onto a worn-out leather chair, bobbing his head to the crappy music played by the jukebox.
The bartender, a tired-looking woman with stringy hair, slid a shot glass of whiskey towards him.
"Another round, my man?" she asked, her hoarse voice breaking the silence.
Denny raised his glass and threw back the amber liquid in one fell swoop.
"You know it, doll," he replied, winking at the bartender.
Denny was a bully, a thug who had built his reputation on fear and intimidation. He was a man who loved the sound of his own voice and the thrill of dominating others. He frequented this dump of a bar, where everyone knew him and no one dared to speak back.
But tonight, things were going to be different.
Across the room, two strangers had just walked in. They were tall, handsome, and dressed in sharp designer suits. There was an aura of confidence about them, a sense of power that turned heads and commanded attention. They were a stark contrast to the people who frequented this dive bar.
Denny watched as they approached the bar, their every step filled with purpose and determination. They oozed an intoxicating presence that seemed to magnetize the room.
