Chapter 6: The Prep Part 3

The soft glow of my laptop screen cast a warm, inviting light over my face as I sat on the plush, velvet sofa, my fingers dancing over the keyboard. The room was filled with the soft, soothing sounds of the city at night, the distant hum of traffic and the faint melody of a street musician's saxophone. The air was cool and crisp, the scent of the old books on my shelves mingling with the faint aroma of the coffee I had made earlier. I could feel the weight of the day's events settling over me, the excitement and anticipation of the morning's bundling release giving way to a sense of contentment and satisfaction.

I had done it. And now, as I sat on the plush, velvet sofa in my apartment, I could feel the sense of accomplishment washing over me like a warm, comforting blanket.

Suddenly, the soft, melodic chime of my laptop's notification bell rang out, breaking the peaceful silence. I opened my eyes, my heart pounding with anticipation as I reached for the device. I clicked on the new email, my eyes scanning the text as I read.

It was from Imaginer, and the subject line read: "Congratulations! Your 'My Morning Diary' Bundling Sold 100 Times." I couldn't believe it. I had just sent the email to the Creators Award organizer, and already, my bundling had sold 100 times.

I was speechless. I had hoped for a good response, but this was beyond anything I could have imagined. I sat there, my eyes scanning the email, the words "10,000 Guld" staring back at me in bold, black letters. I had raised 10,000 Guld in just a few hours. I had only set a target of 2600 Guld to cover the cost of the sheer black dress, and now, I had more than tripled that amount.

I felt a rush of adrenaline, a sense of accomplishment that was almost intoxicating. I had created something that my E-cuppers loved, and it had paid off in a way that I could never have imagined.

I leaned back on the plush sofa, my eyes closed, a soft smile playing on my lips as I let the weight of the day's events sink in.

Suddenly, the familiar melodic chime of my laptop's notification bell rang out again, this time with a sense of urgency that broke through my moment of contentment. It was a reply from the Creators Award organizers.

"Dear Marina," it began, "We are pleased to inform you that your request to take the Azerus Luxury Train to Treyo City has been approved.

We have successfully secured a suite stateroom for you on that train, and we have attached two tickets to this email. The train will take approximately three days to reach Treyo City, so you will need to catch the train tomorrow at 7 AM sharp. We hope that this arrangement suits your needs and that you will have a pleasant journey."

I read the email, my heart pounding with a mix of excitement and apprehension. Three days on the Azerus Luxury Train? That was a long time to be cooped up in a suite stateroom, but the thought of the adventure and the opulence of the train was too enticing to pass up. I could already imagine the luxurious accommodations, the gourmet meals, and the stunning views of the countryside as the train chugged along.

The thought of spending three days in such opulence was almost too good to be true. But as I read the rest of the email, my heart skipped a beat. "We have also booked a first-class flight back to Olego two days after the Creators Award Ceremony," it read. "This will ensure that you have ample time to rest and recover after the event and make your way back home safely." I couldn't help but feel a sense of relief wash over me. The idea of spending three days on the train was exciting, but the thought of having to make the journey back to Olego on the same train was daunting. The flight would be a much more comfortable and convenient option, and I was grateful that the organizers had taken that into consideration.

I couldn't help but feel a sense of disbelief, as if I were still dreaming. I had to pinch myself to make sure it was real. Ten thousand Guld from my bundling, a luxurious suite on the Azerus Luxury Train, and a first-class flight back to Olego? It was all too good to be true. And then, the cherry on top of the cake, the nomination for the Creators Award. I had been nominated for the Creators Award. Me, Marina, the girl from Olego, the one who had always dreamed of making it big, of being recognized for her work. It was a dream come true.

I picked up my phone, my fingers dialing my mom's number before I could even think about it. She answered on the second ring, her voice filled with warmth and concern.

"Mom, you won't believe it," I said, my voice bubbling with excitement. "I'm going to Treyo City tomorrow on the Azerus Luxury Train!"

There was a moment of silence on the other end of the line, and then my mom let out a squeal of delight. "Oh, Marina, that's wonderful! I'm so proud of you, darling. You've always dreamed of taking that train, and now you're finally going to get the chance."

I could hear the pride in her voice, and it made my heart swell with emotion. I knew that this was a big deal for my family. We were a working-class family, and this was the first time that any of us had ever been able to afford such a luxurious experience. My mom and dad had worked hard all their lives, and they deserved to see their only daughter succeed.

I could hear the pride in her voice, and it made me feel a warmth spread through me. "I'm so glad you're going to get this chance, Marina," she said, her voice filled with emotion. "You've always been so talented, and it's about time the world gets to see it."

I smiled, my eyes welling up with tears. "Thanks, Mom. I couldn't have done it without you and Dad. You've always supported me, even when I was just a little girl with big dreams."

She chuckled softly. "Well, we're just glad to see those dreams coming true. And you know, we're always here for you, no matter what.

We just want you to be happy and successful."

I felt a lump form in my throat, her words touching me deeply. "I know, Mom. I love you both so much."

"We love you too, sweetheart. Now, go pack your bags and get some rest. You've got a big adventure ahead of you."

I hung up the phone, a sense of warmth and love filling my heart. I looked around my apartment, my eyes taking in the familiar surroundings.

I knew I had to start packing for my trip, and I was excited to include my new, expensive sheer black dress. I had bought it specifically for the Creators Award ceremony, and I couldn't wait to wear it. I walked over to my closet, pushing aside the hangers to find the dress. As I pulled it out, I couldn't help but admire the way the fabric shimmered in the light. It was perfect.

I laid the dress out on my bed, careful not to wrinkle it. I started to gather the rest of my things, making sure to pack everything I would need for the three-day journey on the Azerus Luxury Train and the time I would spend in Treyo City. I packed my favorite books, my camera, and my laptop. I also packed a few outfits, including some comfortable clothes for the train ride and some nicer clothes for the award ceremony and any other events I might attend.

I wanted to look my best, after all. As I was packing, I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror, and I couldn't help but smile. I looked different, somehow. There was a spark in my eyes, a confidence that I hadn't seen before. I looked like a woman on a mission, and it felt good.

I zipped up my suitcase and set the alarm to wake me up at 5 AM. I wanted to make sure I had plenty of time to get ready and make it to the train station on time. I couldn't believe that tomorrow, I would be boarding the Azerus Luxury Train to Treyo City. It still felt like a dream, but as I looked at my packed suitcase, I knew it was real. I just hoped that I had packed everything I would need for the journey and the award ceremony. I double-checked my list, making sure I had my passport, my tickets, my camera, and my laptop. I also made sure to pack some snacks for the train ride, just in case the food on the train wasn't to my liking. I had heard that the food on the Azerus Luxury Train was exquisite, but I didn't want to take any chances. I wanted to be prepared for anything that might come my way.

As I lay down on my bed, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and nervousness. I had never traveled on such a luxurious train before, and the thought of spending three days on it was both thrilling and a little daunting. But I knew I was ready for this adventure, and I couldn't wait to see what the future held.
