The chill of autumn whispered in the night air, and the subtle aroma of burning wood pervaded. Alexander, a tall, muscular figure, stood watchfully by the open window, a sooty silhouette against the indigo sky filled with stars. Alexander's dark hair danced across his forehead as he turned back to Victoria, his long-time girlfriend. Her radiant smile never failed to leave him captivated and breathless, even after all this time.
Victoria, a stunning woman, adorned in a light-grey, cashmere sweater that perfectly hugged her petite figure, nestled in soft white cushions on the sleek charcoal-grey lounge.
"So, Alex," she said, tucking a loose strand of golden hair behind her ear, "when do you think we can move to a bigger apartment with more light?"
Alexander chuckled softly, crossing the room to perch on the edge of the mahogany coffee table in front of her.
