Chapter 7: Public Display

The crop top was black, ribbed, and ended a full three inches above the waistband of her skirt. The skirt itself was denim, frayed at the hem, and so short that the curve of her ass peeked out from beneath it when she stood straight. Sara looked at herself in the small camping mirror, her reflection a stranger’s. Her skin was still marked from the morning, faint bruises like fingerprints on her hips and thighs. She applied lip gloss with a steady hand.

“Whoa,” Charly said, blinking up from where he laced his boots. “That’s… a look.”

She turned, the movement making the skirt ride higher. “It’s the last night. Thought I’d go all out.” Her voice sounded normal, which felt like the most perverse act of all.

He smiled, but it was bleary. “You look incredible. My head’s pounding, though. Those guys shared some seriously strong whiskey last night.”

Because it was spiked, she thought. Because you’re easy to muddy. A bolt of protectiveness shot through her, immediately followed by a sickening thrill. He was her anchor, and she was severing the line.

“You’ll feel better once we’re in the crowd,” she said, leaning down to kiss his forehead. She tasted of mint and lies.

The main stage field was a throbbing organism. The headliner, a legendary indie rock band, was midway through their set, and thirty thousand people swayed and screamed as one. The air was a soup of bass, body heat, and the sweet-rot smell of spilt beer. Sara held Charly’s hand, weaving through the packed bodies toward a spot Jake had texted her: Left soundboard, grey flag.

She saw the flag. She saw them. Jake, Tyler, Bruce, and Ethan formed a loose circle, a wall of muscle and intent. Jake’s eyes locked onto hers, then dragged down her body, a visual stripping. He gave a slight nod.

“Hey, neighbors!” Charly called, his voice overly loud. “Great spot!”

“We save it for our favorite people,” Jake said, his smile a knife. He handed Charly a red plastic cup. “Peace offering for the killer hangover. It’s just electrolyte water, man.”

Charly, grateful and naive, drank deeply. Sara watched his Adam’s apple bob. The drug would work fast.

The music swelled, a cascading guitar riff that sent a sympathetic vibration through the ground. The crowd pressed tighter. Jake and Tyler shifted, closing the circle until Sara was in the center with Charly, their group a private island in the human sea.

Charly swayed, his eyes losing focus. “Whoa. Dizzy,” he mumbled.

Bruce, a mountain of affable menace, slung a heavy arm around Charly’s shoulders. “Easy, buddy. It’s the heat. Lean on me.” He guided Charly, turning him slightly away, pointing at the laser show as if explaining it. Charly’s head lolled against Bruce’s bicep.

Sara was now facing Jake, her back to Charly. The crowd jostled, pushing her flush against Jake. She felt his erection through his jeans. His hands came to her hips, possessive and rough.

“No underwear,” he whispered into her ear, his breath hot. It wasn’t a question.

She shook her head.

His right hand slid from her hip, under the tiny fringe of her skirt, up the bare skin of her thigh. There was no preamble. His fingers pushed into her, two at once, deep and curling. She gasped, the sound lost in a cymbal crash. She was already wet, her body betraying her with eager readiness.

“Such a good little slut,” Jake muttered, his fingers working her, his thumb finding her clit. “All dressed up just to get used in a crowd. Your husband’s right there.”

She looked over her shoulder. Charly’s eyes were half-closed, a stupid smile on his face as Bruce talked at him. Completely gone.

Tyler moved in on her left, his hand groping her ass, squeezing hard. “Fuck, she’s soaked already,” he said, his fingers brushing against Jake’s.

“My turn,” Tyler said. He replaced Jake’s hand with his own, his fingers thicker, less finesse, just relentless pressure and friction. He fucked her with his hand, the heel of his palm grinding against her as his fingers plunged. Sara’s knees buckled. Jake held her up, his arms now around her waist, her back to his chest. She was panting, her head falling back on his shoulder.

“You gonna come, you dirty bitch?” Tyler hissed, his face close to hers. “You gonna come on my fingers with your husband ten feet away?”

The wave broke, a silent, convulsive orgasm that ripped through her core, making her clamp around his invading fingers. Her body shook violently against Jake.

“Yeah, there it is,” Jake said, feeling her spasms. “Now we really start.”

He turned her, pushing her gently. She stumbled, her legs weak, into Bruce. The giant linebacker caught her, his hands enormous on her waist. He was already unbuckling his belt with one hand.

“Charly, buddy,” Bruce said, his voice a cheerful rumble. “Check out the bassist’s solo! Fucking epic!”

Charly mumbled something, his gaze glued to the distant stage.

Bruce pushed his jeans and boxers down just enough. His cock was thick, veined, and already dripping. He didn’t bother with her skirt, just hiked it up around her waist. He lifted her easily, her legs wrapping instinctively around his hips. He positioned himself and then slammed her down onto him.

The penetration was a breathtaking stretch. Sara cried out, a sharp sound swallowed by a roaring guitar solo. Bruce fucked her with steady, piston-like drives, each one jolting her entire body. He held her aloft like she weighed nothing, her feet dangling, her arms clinging to his broad shoulders for some semblance of anchor.

“This what you wanted, you little festival whore?” Bruce grunted into her neck, his sweat mingling with hers. “Getting railed in front of everyone?”

She could only nod, each deep thrust stealing her breath. The publicness of it was acid and adrenaline—the thousands of unknowing witnesses, the lights painting the sky, the music that masked her choked moans. She was a secret act of vandalism happening in plain sight.

Bruce finished with a series of ragged groans, his seed pumping into her in hot pulses. He held her there, impaled, for a long moment before lowering her. Her legs almost gave out.

Ethan was there. He looked pale, anxious, but his eyes were dark with a conflicted hunger. Jake shoved a small, foil-wrapped square into his hand. “Don’t be a pussy.”

Ethan fumbled with the condom. His hands shook. Sara, driven by a script she now knew by heart, sank to her knees on the trampled grass and discarded cups. She took the condom from him, tore it open with her teeth, and rolled it onto his erection. She looked up at him, her smeared lip gloss catching the light.

“It’s okay,” she heard herself say, her voice a husky parody of comfort. “Use me.”

He pulled her up, turned her around, and bent her over. He was less brutal, almost hesitant, but the need won. He entered her from behind, a shallow, frantic rhythm. She felt the wetness of Bruce’s come leaking out around him. Ethan’s breathing was a desperate sob in her ear.

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” he chanted, even as he fucked her.

“Don’t apologize to the cunt,” Jake snapped, standing guard, watching Charly’s slumped form. “She loves it.”

Ethan came quickly, his body seizing. He pulled out and stumbled back, disappearing into the crowd as if fleeing a crime scene.

Then it was Tyler again. He was grinning, a feral light in his eyes. “My turn for seconds.” He pushed her down, not onto her knees, but onto her back in the grass. The sky swirled above her, streaked with lasers. He shoved her skirt up, spread her legs, and dropped between them. He didn’t enter her immediately. He lowered his head and put his mouth on her, his tongue licking roughly through the mixed fluids of the other men.

“Tastes like a gangbang,” he laughed, the vibration against her sensitive flesh making her jerk.

“Tyler, for Christ’s sake,” Jake said, but he was laughing too, filming now with his phone, the screen a small, glowing rectangle in the dark.

Tyler sucked and lapped until she came again, a broken, silent scream tearing from her throat. Then he mounted her, slamming into the sore, overused mess of her body. He fucked her with a victorious, grinding intensity, his eyes on Jake’s camera. “This is our slut! Say it!”

“I’m your slut!” she wailed, the confession ripped from her.

He came, collapsing on top of her, crushing her into the earth.

They pulled her up. Her crop top was twisted, her skirt was stained with grass and dirt. Jake finished the video, zooming in on her glazed, ruined face, then panned to Charly, who was now sitting slumped against Bruce’s leg, blissfully unconscious.

Jake tucked his phone away. He put a hand on the back of Sara’s neck, his grip firm. “The footage is incredible. Crystal clear audio, too. All your pretty words.”

He leaned in, his lips brushing her ear. “I’m going to edit it. Add some titles. ‘Loving Wife’s Festival Weekend.’ Then I’m going to send you the link. And you’re going to remember, every single day with your nice, clueless husband, that it exists. That with one click, I can send it to him, to your parents, to every client on your fancy freelance website.”

He released her. Sara stood, hollowed out, trembling. The music reached its final, deafening crescendo around them, the crowd roaring in approval.

“Now go take care of your husband,” Jake said, nodding toward Charly. “The fun’s over. For tonight.”

Bruce heaved Charly up, draping his arm over his own shoulders. “I’ll help you get him back to camp.”

Sara moved forward, taking Charly’s other arm. His head lolled onto her shoulder. He smelled of sweat and spiked water. She felt the sticky chill between her thighs, the physical proof of the last hour, as she helped carry her husband away from the stage, the band’s final encore ringing in her ears like a dirge.

The chill was a brand, a leaking reminder with every step through the trampled grass. Bruce dumped Charly’s limp form just inside their tent with a thud, muttered “See you around,” and vanished back into the celebratory chaos. Sara stood alone in the dark, the sounds of laughter and distant music feeling like they came from another planet.

She crawled in, zipped the flap closed, and stared at Charly’s unconscious profile. Her body screamed—a raw, used ache deep in her muscles and between her legs. She replayed the hands, the mouths, the relentless stretches and fills. The warehouse confession had been a controlled demolition. This was a public execution.

And they had filmed it all. Both times. The stark, dirty confession in the grey morning light. The chaotic, crowded fucking under the lasers. They weren’t just collecting memories; they were building an archive. A library of her ruin.

The clarity of it was a cold shock, followed immediately by a low, throbbing heat in her gut. They owned her. Not just for the weekend, but potentially forever. With those files, she was their private pornstar, on permanent retainer, her life a dangling thread they could sever whenever they chose.

She would never be able to say no. Not to a text, not to a demand, not to a location sent in the middle of a Tuesday afternoon. The absolute finality of that fact should have felt like a prison sentence. Instead, it detonated inside her, a silent explosion of pure, terrifying freedom. It drove her crazy in the best way, unlocking a chamber in her soul she’d kept bolted shut for a decade.

She was theirs. The truth was filthy, and it was perfect. A slow, shaky breath escaped her lips, not a sigh of despair, but of surrender to a vast and darkening horizon.
