Teal is a cute, kind of fem, sweet, nerdy, and emotional college guy who signs up to go to a summer camp that pays the people who attend $7000 to participate in a psychological study where among the all male campers half are given high doses of estrogen, and the other half high doses of testosterone. Teal is put in the estrogen group, and the estrogen guys at the camp pretty quickly start to act like and start to be treated like chicks. And teal meets a guy in the testosterone group named zane who thinks teal is hot and sees teal as a girl.

Chapter 1: Steam and Stolen Glances

The fluorescent lights flickered in the shower stalls, casting long, strobing shadows across the tiled walls. The air was thick with steam and the heavy scent of cheap soap, the soundtrack a symphony of dripping water and hushed conversations. I pulled the hood of my sweatshirt a little tighter, trying to hide the growing cleft between my breasts, still just swellings of flesh rather than the full, rounded mounds I was sure they'd become.

I'd been on estrogen for two weeks now, and the changes were already noticeable. My skin had softened, my body rounding out in ways that made me feel both vulnerable and beautiful.

I could see the subtle shifts in the way my reflection looked, but it was the way others treated me that really drove the changes home. Guys who'd once roughhoused with me now hesitated, their eyes lingering a little too long. The girls, on the other hand, seemed to take me under their wing, offering me tips on makeup and fashion that I'd never needed—or wanted—before.

The shower stalls were a stark, tiled expanse, five narrow booths with thin, cheap curtains that barely reached the floor.

The light above flickered, casting long, dancing shadows that seemed to move with a life of their own. The clatter of dripping water echoed off the walls, punctuated by the hushed murmurs of campers pulling off soggy clothes and stepping under the spray.

I stood under the water, hood drawn up, trying to hide from the cold and the eyes that seemed to follow me everywhere. The estrogen had kicked in faster than I'd expected, and I was already seeing changes. My skin was softer, my body rounder, and I could feel a strange new sensitivity everywhere.

I quickly lathered up, desperate to finish and get back to the safety of my cabin. Just as I was about to rinse off, I heard the sound of the curtain being pulled back on the stall next to mine. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a pair of large, bare feet step into the next stall.

"Hey, Teal," a deep voice said, and I recognized it immediately as Zane's. My heart skipped a beat, and I turned to face him. He was already under the water, his back to me, but I could see the muscles in his shoulders and back, taut and defined even in the poor light.

I looked away quickly, feeling a blush creeping up my neck.

"Hey, Zane," I managed to say, my voice a little too high. I quickly turned back to the water, trying to cover my chest with my arms.

He paused for a moment, and I could feel his gaze on me, heavy and intense. "You doing okay?" he asked, his voice casual, but there was an undercurrent I couldn't quite pinpoint.

I shrugged, trying to act nonchalant. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just...

it's all a bit overwhelming, you know?" I said, trying to keep my voice steady. I didn't want to sound like I was complaining, but the truth was, the changes were happening so fast, and I was struggling to keep up.

Zane turned off his shower, the sound of the water spraying against the tiles suddenly loud in the silence. He stepped out, reaching for a towel, and my eyes darted away, embarrassed at being caught looking. I could feel my cheeks burning, and I quickly turned my own shower off, wrapping myself in my towel.

I reached for my clothes, my hands fumbling with the zipper of my hoodie. I pulled it on quickly, hoping to hide the growing curve of my chest.

Zane cleared his throat, and I looked up to see him standing there, a towel wrapped low around his waist, his chest still glistening with water. He was looking at me with an intensity that made my heart pound.

"Teal," he said, his voice low, "you know you don't have to hide from me, right?"

I looked down, my cheeks burning even hotter. "I'm not hiding," I muttered, but even I didn't believe it.

I tugged at the hood of my sweatshirt, trying to cover a bit more of my chest. Zane's gaze lingered on me for a second too long, his fingers twitching like he wanted to reach out and touch me.

"Teal," he said, his voice barely above a whisper, "you don't have to hide who you are from me."

I looked up at him, my heart pounding in my chest. There was something in his eyes, a softness that I hadn't seen before. It made me feel both exposed and safe all at once.

"Who I am?" I asked, my voice small.

Zane's gaze was still on me, his eyes searching, when suddenly, my towel slipped. It slid off my shoulders, pooling at my feet. I gasped, my hands flying to cover my chest, my face flaming with embarrassment.

Zane's eyes were wide, his mouth slightly open, as his gaze lingered on my exposed skin. I could feel every inch of my body burning as I scrambled to grab my towel from the floor, my heart pounding wildly.

"Shit, Teal, I'm so sorry," Zane stammered, quickly averting his eyes. "I didn't mean to... I just... I didn't expect..." His words trailed off, and I could see the color rising in his cheeks as he struggled to compose himself.

I managed to wrap the towel back around myself, my breath coming in ragged gasps. "It's okay," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. "It's not your fault."

Zane raked a hand through his hair, his gaze still avoiding mine. "No, it's not okay. I shouldn't have...

what exactly, Zane?' Teal asked, his cheeks still flaming with embarrassment. He could feel his heart pounding in his chest, making it hard to catch his breath. He tugged at the towel, trying to make sure it was securely wrapped around him.

Zane finally looked up, his eyes meeting Teal's. 'I shouldn't have looked,' he said, his voice low. 'I shouldn't have let myself... stare.' He ran a hand through his hair again, his gaze dropping to the floor.

Teal's blush deepened, and he looked away, his eyes scanning the floor of the stall as if the answer to his sudden self-consciousness could be found in the cracked tiles. 'It's okay,' he murmured. 'I mean, it's not like I can help it, right? The changes, I mean. I'm just...

adjusting,' Teal finished lamely, his voice barely audible over the echoing drip of the showers. He could feel Zane's gaze on him, heavy and uncomfortable, and he shifted from foot to foot, suddenly desperate to get out of there.

'You don't have to adjust with me, Teal,' Zane said softly, his voice barely above a whisper. 'I'm still... I'm still your friend. That doesn't change.'

Teal looked up at him, his eyes wide and vulnerable. 'Doesn't it?' he asked, his voice barely a whisper. 'Things are different now.

Aren't they?' Teal asked, his voice barely a whisper, but the question hung heavy between them.

Zane took a step closer, his towel low on his hips, water still beading on his broad shoulders. 'Things are always changing, Teal. That's life. But some things stay the same.' His voice was low, almost a growl, and Teal felt a shiver run through him.

'Like what?' Teal asked, his voice barely audible over the sound of the dripping water. He was acutely aware of Zane's closeness, of the heat radiating off his body.

But before he could process the sudden shift in the air between them, Teal quickly gathered his clothes and towel, mumbling something about needing to get dressed. He darted out of the stall, his heart pounding in his chest, and hurried back to his cabin.

As he stepped inside, he found his fem cabinmates lounging on their beds, chatting and laughing, the room filled with the sweet scent of their various lotions and body sprays. They all looked up as he entered, their smiles widening at the sight of him.

"Hey, Teal, you're back late!" his cabinmate, Jamie, called out, his voice lilting with newfound femininity. Teal offered a small smile in return, quickly tucking a strand of damp hair behind his ear. "Yeah, I was just... hanging out," he said, his voice barely audible as he hurried to his bunk, eager to change and blend into the background.

But as he sat down on the edge of his bed, he couldn't help but notice the changes that had taken place in the cabin while he was gone. The once masculine space was now adorned with colorful posters of boy bands, the walls covered in a collage of magazine cutouts and doodles. The air was thick with a cloud of hairspray and perfume, and the sounds of laughter and gossip filled the room like a bubbling stream.

Teal perched on the edge of his bunk, tugging at the hem of his hoodie, feeling out of place amidst the flurry of feminine energy.

"I swear, those guys in the testosterone group are getting hotter by the day," Jamie crooned, flipping through a magazine and pointing at a picture of a shirtless man. "Like, have you seen Zane's arms? They're like... trees, man. Solid trunks of pure muscle."

Teal glanced over at his cabinmates, their faces flushed with excitement as they discussed the changes they were witnessing in the other group. He felt a strange mix of jealousy and discomfort, like a pang of longing mixed with a twinge of nausea.

"Yeah, and what about Carter?" another cabinmate, Ryan, added, leaning in and lowering his voice conspiratorially.

"He's been working out like crazy since the start of the camp. I swear, I've seen him bench press like, a hundred pounds."

Teal forced a laugh, but it sounded hollow even to his own ears. He could feel the weight of their gazes on him, could sense their unspoken questions.

"You okay, Teal?" Jamie asked, concern etched on his face. "You seem... distracted."

Teal offered a small smile, trying to brush off their concern. "I'm fine," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "Just...

tired, I guess," Teal finished, forcing a yawn to emphasize his point. Jamie and Ryan exchanged a look, clearly unconvinced, but they didn't press further.

Teal let out a sigh of relief as they turned back to their magazine, their conversation shifting to the latest camp gossip. He knew they meant well, but he wasn't ready to talk about what had happened in the showers, about the strange new dynamics at play between him and Zane.

As he sat there, he couldn't shake the memory of Zane's gaze, the way his eyes had lingered on Teal's exposed skin.

He listened with half an ear as his cabinmates continued their discussion, their voices a low hum in the background.

"I mean, seriously, have you seen Zane's arms?" Jamie asked, raising an eyebrow suggestively. "I'm pretty sure he could snap me like a twig if he wanted to."

The others laughed, agreeing with Jamie's assessment. Teal, however, felt a strange heat rise in his cheeks at the mention of Zane's name. He could still see the way Zane's eyes had darkened, the way his fingers had twitched like he wanted to touch Teal.

"I swear, if I didn't know any better, I'd think they were pumping those guys full of testosterone or something," Ryan joked, flopping down on his bunk with a dramatic sigh. "It's not fair. I mean, look at us.

We're all getting boobs and softer skin, and they're over there, growing beards and bulking up like it's a competition," Jamie complained, gesturing to the cabin door. Teal couldn't help but feel a twinge of guilt at the reminder of the changes happening to his cabinmates. He looked down at his own chest, still covered by his hoodie, and felt a strange mix of pride and discomfort at the growing curve beneath the fabric.

"I hear they've even started a betting pool over who can grow the most muscle mass by the end of the camp," Ryan added, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "I heard Zane is the current favorite."

Teal's heart skipped a beat at the mention of Zane's name, and he felt a flush creep up his neck.

He quickly turned away from his cabinmates, ostensibly to retrieve his pajamas from his duffel bag, but really to hide the heat in his cheeks. He dug through the bag, his fingers brushing against the soft fabric of his favorite pink pajamas, a gift from his mother that he had initially been embarrassed to bring to camp. Now, however, they were a comforting reminder of home, a symbol of the changes he was undergoing.

As he hurriedly changed into the pajamas, he could feel his cabinmates' eyes on him, but he didn't look up. He didn't want to see the questions in their eyes, the curiosity and concern that was sure to be there. Instead, he focused on the task at hand, quickly pulling on his bottoms and then his top, the soft fabric settling over his still-sensitive skin.

As he tugged the hoodie over his head, he couldn't help but think about how he probably needed a bra. The swell of his chest had grown noticeably in the past few days, and the constant movement and chafing was becoming uncomfortable. He had seen some of the other girls in his cabin wearing sports bras, but the idea of shopping for one filled him with a mix of embarrassment and dread. He didn't want to draw any more attention to his changing body than necessary, and the thought of trying on bras in front of strangers made his stomach churn. As he pulled the hoodie down, he realized that it wasn't just the discomfort that bothered him. He was also feeling a strange sense of loss, a longing for the familiarity of his old body, the one that had always felt safe and secure.

He pulled the hood of his sweatshirt up over his head, tucking his face into the soft fabric, desperate to hide from the curious glances of his cabinmates. As he crawled into bed, he felt a sudden wave of exhaustion wash over him, both physical and emotional. The day had been a whirlwind of change and confusion, and he was suddenly desperate for the oblivion of sleep.

"Night, Teal," Jamie said gently, his voice cutting through the haze of Teal's thoughts. "Sweet dreams." Teal mumbled a response, his voice muffled by the hoodie as he pulled the covers up over his head. He could feel the weight of his cabinmates' gazes on him, their concern and curiosity like a physical presence in the room. But he didn't look up.

Instead, he let his eyes drift closed, his body sinking into the softness of his bunk. As sleep claimed him, his mind drifted into a hazy dreamscape, and he found himself in the shower stalls once more. But this time, the showers were off, the room filled with a thick, silent steam. Zane was there, his towel gone, his body glistening with water. Teal could see every ripple of muscle, every line of his broad chest. Zane looked different, his eyes darker, his expression solemn. He stepped closer, his gaze locked onto Teal's chest. "Teal," he murmured, his voice a low growl. "Show me." Teal hesitated, his heart pounding in his chest. But then, slowly, he reached up and pulled open his hoodie, revealing the swell of his chest, the distinct curve of his growing breasts.

Zane's hand reached out, gentle and tentative, his fingers brushing against the soft flesh. "Teal," he murmured, his voice low and steady, as his hand cupped one breast, exploring its shape and weight. "You're a girl now, aren't you?"

Teal gasped, his eyes wide with shock and arousal. He couldn't believe what was happening, couldn't believe the way Zane was touching him, or the way his body was responding.

But before he could fully process the sensation, Zane suddenly lifted him up, his hands gripping Teal's ass as if he weighed nothing. Teal gasped, his eyes wide with surprise as Zane pressed him against the cool, tiled wall. He could feel the heat radiating off Zane's body, the muscles in his arms tensing as he held Teal aloft.

And then, to Teal's utter shock, Zane's mouth descended, his lips capturing one of Teal's nipples, his tongue swirling around the sensitive flesh. Teal cried out, his back arching as a jolt of pleasure shot through him. He could feel his body responding instantly, his nipples hardening and his cock stirring to life against the fabric of his pajama bottoms.

But as quickly as the pleasure spiked, it receded, replaced by a wave of shame and confusion. What was happening to him? Teal woke with a jolt, his heart pounding and his cheeks burning with embarrassment. He looked around the dimly lit cabin, his breath coming in ragged gasps, as the dream replayed in his mind. Zane's hands on his body, his mouth on his nipples—it had all felt so real, so intense. But it couldn't be real. Could it? He was a guy, isn't that what he was supposed to be anyway? But then, why was he having dreams like this? Why did he feel this way around Zane?

Teal pulled the covers up to his chin, his mind racing as he tried to make sense of his feelings.

He couldn't get the look on Zane's face out of his head, the way his eyes had widened in surprise when he'd seen Teal's chest. It was a look of shock, yes, but there was something else there too. Something that made Teal's heart flutter and his stomach churn with a mix of embarrassment and excitement. Had Zane been... interested?

He groaned, pressing his face into his pillow. He couldn't think about this. It was too much, too confusing. He was already struggling to come to terms with the changes happening to his own body, let alone the changes in how others saw him. And now this? Now Zane, of all people, was looking at him like... like what? Like he was something new, something different. Something desirable.

The thought made him squirm, a strange heat spreading through his body.

Teal groaned, rolling over in his bunk and burying his face in his pillow. He needed to forget about the dream, about Zane's touch, about the strange new feelings churning inside him. He needed to focus on the present, on the reality of his changing body and the shifting dynamics of the camp.

But when he woke up the next morning, he couldn't ignore the reality any longer. He stumbled blearily out of bed, his eyes still heavy with sleep, and made his way to his dresser to start getting dressed. But as he reached for his standard issue camp uniform, he realized something was off. The familiar gray t-shirts and shorts were gone, replaced by a row of neutral colored, skirts, and girl tees emblazoned with the camp logo. He stared at the clothing, his heart pounding in his chest. What was going on?

Teal blinked the sleep from his eyes and rubbed the heel of his hand against his temple, trying to process the sudden disorientation. He looked down at the clothing before him, the skirts and girl tees replacing his usual camp uniform, and felt a shiver of unease. He reached for his underwear drawer, hoping to find something familiar, something comforting. But as he opened it, he was greeted by a sight that made his heart pound in his chest.

His boxers were gone, replaced by a jumble of panties, thongs, and bras. Panic surged through him as he stared at the unfamiliar garments, his mind racing. What had happened? Why was his underwear drawer filled with... with girls' underwear? He felt a wave of nausea and quickly closed the drawer, his eyes scanning the room as if seeking an explanation.

But as his gaze fell on his sock drawer, he saw that it too had been altered. Where once his plain white athletic socks had nestled, he now found a pair of black lace-topped thigh highs. His heart pounded in his chest, and he closed his eyes, taking a deep, shuddering breath. When he opened them again, he saw a note lying on top of the thigh highs. He picked it up, his hands shaking slightly as he read the neat, cursive handwriting.

"Boys in the estrogen group will begin their new uniforms starting their third week. Please wear appropriate undergarments and hosiery as outlined in your new uniform requirements. Enjoy your new look! - Camp Director"

Teal let out a shaky laugh, his hands trembling as he balled up the note and tossed it onto the floor.

He sat down hard on the bare tiles, pulling his knees up to his chest and wrapping his arms tightly around his legs. He rested his forehead against his knees, his eyes squeezed shut as he tried to process the reality of his situation. This was all too much, too fast. He couldn't imagine walking around the camp in a skirt and lacy underwear, let alone facing the other campers dressed like that. It was humiliating, and he felt his cheeks burn with embarrassment at the thought. Maybe he should just go home. Maybe this was all a mistake.

He felt a lump form in his throat as he thought about the idea of leaving. He'd never been one to back down from a challenge, and he'd come to camp eager to embrace the changes that were taking place in his body. But this? This was more than he'd bargained for.

Teal grabbed the nearest skirt, its lavender fabric shimmering under the fluorescent light of his dorm. He couldn't help but run his fingers over it, feeling its softness, inhaling its fresh, floral scent. It reminded him of summers spent at his grandmother's house, where everything smelled like flowers and sunshine. But this wasn't his grandmother's house, and these weren't his grandmother's clothes. He set the skirt back down, his mind racing.

" Teal? You okay in there?" Jamie's voice drifted in from the other side of the room, concern etched in every syllable. Teal took a deep breath, trying to steady his nerves. "Yeah, I'm fine," he called back, his voice cracking slightly. "Just...

give me a minute, okay?" Teal managed to say, his voice a little more steady this time. He looked up and saw Jamie standing in the doorway, dressed in the new uniform. The black skirt hugged his curves in a way that made Teal's breath hitch, and the white blouse was artfully tied at the waist, emphasizing Jamie's slim figure. His hair was pulled back in a loose ponytail, a few wisps framing his now softer, more feminine features. Gone was the edgy little gay punk boy Teal had known since the start of camp, replaced by a cute girl who could have been Jamie's twin sister. "Sure thing, sweetie," Jamie said, his voice softer now, more melodic. He flashed Teal a sympathetic smile, his eyes filled with understanding. "You know, I was freaking out about this too.

But honestly, Teal, these uniforms are ridiculously comfortable," Jamie said, smoothing down the skirt and striking a pose. "And listen, no one here is going to judge you. We're all in the same boat, remember? It's just another part of the journey."

Teal looked up at Jamie, feeling a small flicker of hope ignite within him. "You really think so?" he asked, his voice small.

Jamie nodded, his smile reassuring. "Absolutely. Besides, you look amazing in everything anyway. I mean, have you seen your boobs? They're fucking fantastic!" he said, laughing and gesturing towards Teal's chest.

Teal blushed, looking down at his growing breasts with a mix of embarrassment and pride. "Thanks, Jamie," he said, smiling shyly.

Jamie winked at him and strode over to Teal's bed, holding out a bra in one hand. "Here, I think this one will fit you. I've got a sister who's about your size. Plus, it's got the most amazing lace detailing. You'll look gorgeous in it. I'll see you at breakfast, sweetie!" he said, tossing the bra onto Teal's bed and sauntering out of the cabin, humming a cheery tune.

Teal stared at the bra lying on his bed, his heart pounding in his chest. He reached out tentatively, his fingers brushing against the soft, delicate fabric. He couldn't believe he was holding a bra, let alone one that Jamie had picked out for him. He looked down at his own chest, his mind racing with doubts and uncertainties.

But with a deep breath, he picked up the bra, his fingers tracing the lace detailing. He slipped it on, his heart pounding in his chest as he fastened the delicate hooks. As the cups settled into place, he felt a strange relief wash over him. The pressure on his chest eased, the aching tenderness replaced by a comforting support. He looked at himself in the mirror, his eyes wide with disbelief. The bra fit perfectly, the lace cupping his new breasts gently, as if they were meant to be there all along. His hands moved to his chest, caressing the soft mounds gently, marveling at the transformation. "Wow," he whispered to his reflection, a small smile playing on his lips despite the lingering doubts.

He reached for the skirt Jamie had set aside for him, the lavender fabric slipping through his fingers as he held it up. He could feel his heart racing as he slipped off his pajama bottoms, his hands trembling slightly as he slid the skirt up his legs. The soft fabric brushed against his skin, sending a shiver down his spine as he fastened it at his waist. He looked at himself in the mirror, turning this way and that, trying to get used to the new sight. He felt exposed, vulnerable, but also... liberated. The skirt swished softly as he moved, the fabric light and airy against his skin. He tentatively touched the lace at the hem, his fingers brushing against the delicate pattern.

Teal let out a soft sigh, feeling the weight of the skirt settle around his hips. As he slipped on the panties Jamie had chosen for him, he felt a strange sense of comfort wash over him. They were soft and silky, hugging his hips just right, and he realized that for the first time in weeks, he didn't feel restricted or constrained. He wiggled a little, testing the freedom of movement, and let out a small laugh at the sensation.

"Whoa, this is actually really comfortable," he murmured to himself, running his hands over the smooth fabric of the panties. It was like a secret, hidden layer of comfort that he'd never experienced before. He felt a sense of relief, as if a weight had been lifted from his shoulders. He looked down at his body, still getting used to the new curves and shapes, but feeling a growing acceptance and appreciation for them.

He slipped his hoodie back on, the familiar fabric settling around his shoulders like a comforting blanket. Teal felt a sense of relief wash over him, as if he had been searching for something he didn't even know he needed. He looked at himself in the mirror, his eyes widening in surprise as he struck a cute pose, his hips jutting out slightly. He had to admit, the skirt and hoodie combination was actually quite flattering. He wondered if the testosterone guys were going to be weird about the new uniforms the estrogen boys were wearing. He had seen some of them sneering at the clothes earlier, but he hoped that they would eventually come around. After all, they were all in this together, right?

He decided to put it to the test and wandered out of the cabin, his steps light and bouncy in his new outfit.

The skirt swished softly with each step, and he found himself enjoying the new sensation. As he rounded the corner towards the dining hall, he spotted a few of his friends from the estrogen group huddled together, chatting and laughing. They looked up as he approached, their faces breaking into welcoming smiles.

"Teal! You made it!" Jamie exclaimed, his eyes scanning Teal's new attire approvingly. "You look amazing, girl!" he added, winking playfully.

Teal blushed, smoothing down the skirt self-consciously. "Thanks, Jamie. It's... it's definitely different," he admitted, glancing down at the unfamiliar fabric.

"Come on, let's get some breakfast," another friend, Dylan, chimed in, clapping Teal on the back.

Teal followed them to the buffet line, his eyes widening at the array of food laid out before them. The estrogen group had always been served a separate, gentler menu, but now that they were fully embracing their new identities, they were allowed to partake in the same hearty breakfast as the testosterone boys.

As they piled their plates high with pancakes, eggs, and bacon, Teal couldn't help but notice the testosterone boys shooting curious glances their way. He glanced around furtively, his cheeks flushing as he caught Zane's gaze. The muscular boy was sitting at a nearby table, his plate piled even higher than theirs, his dark eyes lingering on Teal in a way that made his heart flutter. Teal quickly looked away, his hands trembling slightly as he carried his plate to an empty table.

As he sat down, he glanced back at Zane, who was still staring at him, his dark eyes wide with surprise. Teal couldn't resist the urge to tease him, so he coyly smiled and waved at Zane as if he didn't notice him checking him out. Zane's eyes widened, and he quickly looked away, a flush spreading across his cheeks. Teal tried to suppress his grin, feeling a thrill of triumph at having caught Zane off guard. He turned his attention back to his food, his mind racing with thoughts of the sudden change in their dynamic.

Jamie nudged him gently, a knowing smile playing on his lips. "You sure do have a way with the boys, Teal," he whispered, his voice barely audible over the noise of the bustling dining hall. Teal felt his cheeks grow even hotter, and he shot Jamie a playful glare.

"Shush, Jamie," he hissed, trying to suppress his laughter. "I don't know what you're talking about." Jamie just grinned wider, his eyes twinkling with mischief.

As Teal and his friends began to eat, he couldn't help but notice the curious glances they were attracting from the other campers. He saw several tables of testosterone boys outright stare, their jaws agape as they took in the new, estrogen-enhanced versions of their peers. He even saw a few point and whisper, their faces flushed with awe or confusion or something else entirely. He tried to ignore them, focusing instead on the delicious food in front of him, but he couldn't shake the feeling of being on display.

He glanced around the table, seeing his friends demurely picking at their food, their laughter lighter and more melodic than it had been just a few weeks before. They really did look like a group of cute girls, he thought with a mix of amusement and disbelief. Their bodies had softened, their hair grown longer, and their faces taken on a softer, more delicate beauty. Even their mannerisms had changed, their movements more graceful, more feminine. Teal couldn't help but notice the way the other campers were reacting to them, the way their eyes widened and their jaws dropped as they took in the transformation. He even saw a few point and whisper, their faces flushed with a mix of awe and confusion.

In the next moment, a group of testosterone boys, led by the ever-cocky Ryan, approached their table, their eyes darting between the estrogen boys and their platters of food. "Mind if we join you?" Ryan asked, a smirk playing on his lips. Teal hesitated, his eyes flicking to his friends for support. They all shrugged, their expressions ranging from indifferent to cautiously welcoming.

Teal sighed and gestured to the empty chairs. "Sure, why not?" he said, his voice a little more confident than he felt. He wasn't sure how he felt about the testosterone boys invading their space, but he was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. Ryan and his friends sat down, their plates piled high with food. Teal noticed that Zane was not among them, and he couldn't help but feel a pang of disappointment.

He quickly pushed it aside, focusing on the conversation that was quickly turning flirtatious.

As the testosterone boys sat down, they began to subtly flirt with Teal's friends, their eyes sparkling with mischief and their smiles wide. "So, you girls are looking mighty fine this morning," Ryan said, his gaze lingering on Jamie's new curves. Jamie blushed, but he played along, batting his eyelashes and giggling playfully. "Why, thank you, Ryan. You're not so bad yourself," he said, his voice taking on a soft, coy tone that Teal had never heard before.

Teal watched as his friends fell easily into the flirtatious banter, their laughter filling the air and their cheeks flushed with excitement. He saw how they leaned in, their eyes sparkling with amusement and their bodies language inviting.

Teal, on the other hand, found himself unusually disinterested in the game. He glanced over at Zane's table, catching his eye. Zane looked away immediately, his cheeks flushing a soft pink. Teal smiled at the reaction, finding the sudden shyness endearing. He had never seen Zane look so flustered before. The realization sent a warm rush through him, making him feel both excited and nervous.

Jamie nudged him, snapping him out of his thoughts. "You okay, Teal? You're a thousand miles away," he teased, his voice barely audible over the noise of the dining hall. Teal blushed, realizing that he had been staring at Zane for a little too long. He quickly looked away, his heart pounding in his chest. "Yeah, I'm fine.

Just, uh, lost in thought," Teal replied, his voice barely audible over the sudden burst of giggles from his friends. Ryan had just said something about their "lady-like" table manners, and the jest had caught Jamie and the others off guard. They were now doubled over, their laughter filling the air as they playfully shoved each other and wiped tears from their eyes. Teal smiled, glad to see his friends so carefree and happy, even if their laughter was at their own expense.

"You should hear what Ryan just said, Teal!" Dylan exclaimed between laughs, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "He said we should all learn to eat like ladies, with our pinkies sticking out and everything!"

Teal chuckled, shaking his head at Ryan's antics.

He took a bite of his pancakes, his eyes flicking between his friends and the testosterone boys. He watched as Jamie playfully batted his eyelashes at one of the muscular boys, his voice taking on a soft, coy tone. "You know, I've always had a thing for guys with big muscles," he said, his eyes roaming appreciatively over the boy's broad chest. The boy grinned, puffing out his chest and flexing his biceps. "Well, then, you're in luck, gorgeous. Because these babies are all natural," he replied, his voice deep and confident. Teal rolled his eyes at the cheesy line, but he couldn't help but notice the way his friends were eating it up. They giggled and flirted back, their cheeks flushed with excitement as they complimented the boys on their physiques.

Teal couldn't help but smile at the spectacle, his heart swelling with warmth as he watched his friends embrace their new identities with such joy and confidence. He polished off the last of his pancakes, his mind drifting to his own interactions with Zane. He was still trying to process the way Zane had looked at him earlier, the way his dark eyes had lingered on Teal's new curves and his cheeks had flushed with something that looked an awful lot like desire.

Teal stood up, pushing his chair back with a soft scrape against the tile. He picked up his empty plate, his eyes scanning the dining hall for the nearest trash can. As he turned to go, he noticed Zane standing up as well, his own plate in hand. Zane's gaze met Teal's, and a soft smile spread across Teal's face.

"Hey! Morning, Zane," he said, his voice warm and friendly. He had never been one to back down from a challenge, and he figured that the best way to address the new dynamic between them was to face it head-on.

Zane's eyes widened in surprise at Teal's greeting, his cheeks flushing a soft pink. He quickly looked away, his gaze darting around the dining hall as if searching for an escape route. "Uh, hey, Teal," he replied, his voice barely audible over the noise of the bustling room. He shifted his weight from one foot to the other, his plate clattering nervously against his fork. Teal smiled, noting the way Zane's hands were shaking as he tried to maintain his composure.

"You okay, Zane?" Teal asked, his voice filled with genuine concern.

"You look a little... on edge."

Zane's eyes flicked up to meet Teal's, and he forced a tight smile. "I'm fine, just... just not much of a morning person," he mumbled, turning to walk away. But Teal wasn't about to let him off the hook that easily. He followed Zane, his sneakers scuffing softly against the tiled floor.

"Well, you're not the only one who isn't a morning person," he said with a playful laugh. "I'm usually a complete zombie before my first cup of coffee."

Zane threw a quick glance over his shoulder, his lips twitching into a small smile. "Is that right?" he asked, his voice softening. "Well, I guess we have that in common, then."

Teal felt a warmth spread through him at the shared connection, no matter how small. "Yeah, I guess we do," he replied, his voice equally soft.

He fell into step beside Zane, their footsteps echoing in the nearly empty hallway. It was early enough that most of the campers were still eating breakfast or getting ready for the day's activities. "So, how are you liking the new uniforms?" Teal asked, gesturing to his own skirt and hoodie. "They're definitely different, but...I don't know, I think I'm starting to get used to them."

Zane looked over at Teal, his brows furrowing slightly. "You really are, aren't you?" he said, his voice laced with a mix of disbelief and admiration.

"I mean, I see the girls in the estrogen group, and it's like they've always been that way. You know, like it's natural." He hesitated, his gaze dropping to the floor. "But you... you're different. You're still... you."

Teal felt a warmth spread through him at Zane's words. He had always been self-conscious about his changing body, about how people saw him now. But hearing Zane say that he still saw Teal as Teal, despite the physical changes, made him feel a sense of pride and acceptance.

"Thanks, Zane," he said, his voice soft.

"That means a lot." Teal giggled as Zane turned to walk away, quickly following him back to his table. He couldn't help but feel a flutter of excitement in his chest, his heart pounding a little faster as he caught up to Zane and slipped into the seat next to him. Zane looked up in surprise, his eyes widening as he noticed Teal's sudden appearance. "Hey, what are you doing?" he asked, his voice a mix of confusion and amusement. "I thought you were going to sit with your friends," he added, gesturing to the table across the dining hall, where Jamie and the others were still engaged in their flirtatious banter with the testosterone boys. Teal shrugged, a playful smirk spreading across his face. "I figured I'd keep you company instead," he said, his eyes sparkling with mischief.

"Besides, I owe you an apology." Zane's brows furrowed in confusion, his gaze flicking up to meet Teal's. "An apology? For what?" Teal felt his cheeks grow warm, his mind flashing back to the incident in the shower the day before. He ducked his head, his fingers fidgeting with the hem of his hoodie. "You know, for... for what happened yesterday," he mumbled, his voice barely audible. Zane's eyes widened in surprise, his cheeks flushing a soft pink. He opened his mouth to respond, but Teal quickly cut him off. "I didn't mean to, honestly," he rushed to explain, his voice filled with genuine remorse. "I was just so startled by you being there, and then the steam hit me and I just...

" Teal trailed off, his cheeks burning with embarrassment. He stole a glance at Zane, his heart pounding in his chest. Zane's cheeks were still flushed, his eyes soft and filled with understanding.

"Teal, it's okay," Zane said gently, his voice low. "You don't have to apologize. I... I should be the one apologizing."

Teal's eyes widened in surprise. "What? Why?"

Zane looked down at his plate, his fingers fidgeting with the edge of it. "I was just... shocked, I guess. Seeing you like that. It was... different.

I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable."

Teal felt a pang in his chest at Zane's words. He reached out, gently nudging Zane's arm with his own. "Hey, it's okay. Really. I mean, I get it. It was a shock for me too. I guess we're both just trying to figure things out, you know?"

Zane looked up at Teal then, his dark eyes meeting Teal's blue ones. There was a long moment of silence between them, a moment filled with unspoken words and subtle shifts in their dynamic.

Zane's lips curled into a soft smile, his eyes never leaving Teal's. "I guess we are," he agreed, his voice barely above a whisper.

Teal's heart fluttered at the newfound intimacy between them. He took a deep breath, steeling himself to ask the question that had been on the tip of his tongue since the night before. "Zane... can I ask you something?" he said, his voice a soft murmur.

Zane's brows lifted, a curious spark igniting in his eyes. "Of course," he replied, his voice gentle.

Teal hesitated for a moment, his fingers playing with the hem of his hoodie. He took a deep breath and asked, "Have you... um, have you ever thought about what it would be like to... to kiss a girl?"

Zane's eyes widened slightly at the unexpected question. A soft blush crept up his cheeks, and he looked down at his plate, fiddling with his utensils. "What do you mean?" he asked, his voice a little husky.

Teal felt his own cheeks heat up, but he pressed on. "You know, like... like kissing me. Would you...

would you want to?" The question hung in the air between them, thick with tension and anticipation. Teal felt his heart pounding in his chest, his breath coming in quick, shallow gasps. He wasn't sure what had possessed him to ask Zane such a bold question, but he couldn't deny the truth in his heart: he wanted to know what Zane thought about him, about the new dynamics between them.

Zane looked up at Teal, his eyes searching Teal's face for a long moment. Teal could see the wheels turning in Zane's mind, could see the hesitation and confusion warring in his dark eyes.

He held his breath, waiting for Zane's response, his heart pounding like a drum in his chest.

Zane let out a slow breath, his gaze never leaving Teal's. "I... I don't know, Teal," he admitted, his voice soft. "I mean, you're... you're different now. And I can't stop thinking about it. About you."

Teal felt a flutter of hope in his chest, but he also sensed Zane's struggle, the uncertainty that was written all over his face. He reached out, gently touching Zane's hand, offering a silent encouragement.

"You know what, Zane? I think you're really cool. I mean, you're one of the few guys around here who doesn't treat me differently just because of the new... everything. I think maybe I'm just acting weird because of the new outfits and everything else that's been happening. I shouldn't have brought up kissing like that. I'm sorry if it made you uncomfortable," Teal said, his voice soft and sincere.

Zane's eyebrows furrowed, his grip on his fork tightening. "No, Teal, it's not that. It's just... I don't know what to think anymore. I never thought... I mean, I never thought I'd... I don't know, feel this way about someone like you. Someone who used to be... different.

I never thought I'd... Someone who used to be... you know..." Zane's voice trailed off, his brow furrowing as he searched for the right words.

Teal sighed softly, a hint of frustration and confusion coloring his voice. "Maybe it's just the hormones, you know? I mean, I've been on estrogen for a few weeks now, and I've been feeling all sorts of things. Maybe the estrogen made me gay or something," he whispered, his cheeks flushing with a mix of embarrassment and honesty.

Zane's eyes widened in surprise, his grip on his fork loosening. No, Teal, it's not just the hormones. I mean, sure, they might make you feel different, but...

I don't know. I never thought I'd feel this way about someone like you.

Embarrassed, Teal looked away, his gaze fixed on the half-eaten waffles on his plate. He couldn't believe he had just said that out loud. He felt Zane's hand gently squeeze his, their fingers playing softly against each other.

He looked up, their eyes meeting, and they shared a small, silent smile. Teal's heart fluttered, warmth spreading through him as he grasped Zane's hand firmly, their palms pressing together. A comfortable silence settled between them, broken only by the soft hum of conversation in the dining hall and the distant clatter of dishes. Teal could feel Zane's thumb tracing gentle circles on the back of his hand, the touch sending shivers up his spine. He looked down at their intertwined hands, a soft smile playing on his lips.

"Zane," he said softly, his voice barely above a whisper. "Can I tell you something?" He felt Zane's fingers tighten around his, a subtle nod of encouragement. Teal took a deep breath, steeling himself for what he was about to say. I think I like you, Zane.

Like, really like you," Teal confessed, his voice barely above a whisper. Zane's eyes widened slightly in surprise, but he didn't pull away. Instead, he simply smiled, his thumb continuing its gentle circles on the back of Teal's hand. "I never thought I'd say this to anyone, but especially not to you, of all people. But here we are, I guess."

Zane's smile softened, his gaze searching Teal's face. "I like you too, Teal. More than I ever thought I would," he admitted, his voice just as soft. They shared a moment of comfortable silence, their eyes locked, their hands still intertwined. Then, Teal's cheeks flushed, and he whispers out, "Zane, you smell really good."

Zane chuckled softly, his fingers tightening around Teal's.

"You know, I should have guessed that was coming," he said, his voice low. "Every time you've been around me lately, I've caught you sniffing the air like a bloodhound." "I... what? I was not!" he protested, his cheeks flushing a deeper shade of pink.

Zane just smiled, a playful glint in his eye. "Oh, come on, Teal. You totally were. It was kinda cute, actually."

Teal shook his head, still denying it, but his Cheeks were burning with embarrassment.

"I was not sniffing you, Zane. I don't even know what you smell like!"

Zane leaned in closer, his voice dropping to a low whisper. "You want to find out?"

Teal's heart skipped a beat, his eyes widening in surprise. Zane's hand was still wrapped around his own, their fingers entwined, and Teal could feel the heat radiating off Zane's body. He swallowed hard, trying to make his voice sound steady. “I mean,.. I guess so," he managed to say, his voice barely above a whisper.

Zane smiled, his dark eyes sparkling with mischief.

He lifted his arm slightly, an invitation for Teal to come closer. Teal, without a moment's hesitation, leaned in, pressing his nose against the warm, smooth skin of Zane's armpit. He closed his eyes, immediately losing himself in Zane's intoxicating scent. It was a mix of sweat and something else, something that made Teal's heart race and his body tingle with desire. He took a deep breath, inhaling Zane's pheromones, and a soft hum escaped his lips. "Mmm, you were right, Zane. You do smell amazing."

Zane chuckled, his arm still raised to allow Teal access to his skin. "Told you," he said, his voice low and husky. Teal couldn't help but nuzzle closer, his nose nudging Zane's armpit, his eyes still closed.

He let out a soft giggle, his breath coming out in a warm puff against Zane's skin. "Mmm, you smell so good, Zane. Like, really good," he mumbled, his words slightly slurred as if he were getting drunk on Zane's unique scent. He leaned into Zane, his body pressing against Zane's side, his arm wrapped around Zane's torso to keep himself upright.

Zane's laughter rumbled through his chest, vibrating against Teal's cheek. "You're gonna make me blush, Teal," he said, his voice low and husky. "I don't think anyone's ever complimented me on my smell before." Teal opened his eyes, his cheeks still flushed from his intense sniffing session. He looked up at Zane, a playful grin spreading across his face.

"So, do you want to?" Teal asked, his voice breathless and innocent, as if he were asking Zane if he wanted to share a candy bar. Zane's eyes widened in surprise, his lips parting as if he were about to speak, but no words came out. He looked down at Teal, his gaze searching Teal's face for any sign of teasing or mockery. But Teal just smiled up at him, his blue eyes sparkling with genuine curiosity and anticipation. Zane's heart pounded in his chest, his mind racing with uncertainty and excitement. He had never been asked something like this before, had never been put on the spot like this. But there was something about Teal, something about his infectious enthusiasm and his unabashed honesty that made Zane want to give in to the impulse.

He felt a warmth spread through him at the thought of letting Teal explore his body, of letting him learn every inch of him. "I... uh, yeah," Zane stammered, his voice barely audible. "I guess so." Teal's face lit up with a wide smile, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "Really?" he asked, his voice breathless. "You'll let me? I promise I'll be gentle. I just want to know what you taste like, you know? Like, up close." Zane's heart pounded in his chest, his palms growing sweaty as he realized the implications of what Teal was asking. He had never been so intimate with anyone before, had never let someone like Teal get so close, so personal. "I don't know, Teal," he said, his voice faltering. "I mean, this is kind of... intimate.

"I mean, this is kind of... strange. I'm sorry, but I think I need a little space to process this."

Teal's smile vanished, replaced by a look of shock and embarrassment. "Oh, shit. Oh my God, I'm so sorry, Zane. That was... weird. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable," he stammered, quickly pulling away from Zane, his cheeks flaming with mortification. "I don't know what came over me. I'm so sorry."

Zane watched as Teal's gaze dropped to his lap, his cheeks burning with a mix of embarrassment and confusion.

I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable," Teal stammered, quickly pulling away from Zane, his cheeks flaming with mortification. He felt his heart pounding in his chest as he realized the full extent of what he had just done. He had gotten so swept up in his feelings for Zane that he had crossed a line, had asked for something that was far too intimate, far too soon. He felt like an idiot, like a teenager with a massive crush trying too hard to impress the object of his affections.

"I don't know what came over me," Teal continued, his voice barely above a whisper. "I just... I just got carried away. I'm sorry, Zane.

Zane looked away, his cheeks flushing a deep red as he tried to process his sudden surge of emotion. Teal's unabashed sincerity and earnestness were both cute and overwhelming, making Zane's heart flutter in a way he had never experienced before. He felt a mix of desire and panic, his hands trembling slightly as he ran them through his hair. "It's okay, Teal. Really," he reassured him, his voice barely above a whisper.

"I just need a moment to think. You don't have to leave, though. Stay here if you want."

Teal looked up at him, his blue eyes filled with a mixture of relief and concern. "Are you sure?" he asked, his voice soft. "I don't want to make things more awkward. I feel like such an idiot."

Zane smiled gently at him, his hand reaching out to cup Teal's cheek. "You're not an idiot, Teal," he said, his thumb brushing against Teal's skin. "You're just... passionate. And that's a good thing. I just need a moment to catch up, that's all."

Teal nodded, his cheeks still flushed with embarrassment. "Okay, but if you need some space, that's cool too. I can go for a walk or something.

" Teal said, his voice soft as he pulled his hoodie a little tighter around himself. Zane's hand dropped to his side as Teal pulled away, a hint of disappointment in his eyes. They sat in silence for a moment, the only sound the distant clatter of dishes being cleared in the dining hall. Teal fidgeted with the hem of his hoodie, his gaze fixed on the table in front of them. Zane looked down at his own plate, his brow furrowed in thought. The tension between them was palpable, a thick, tangible thing that hung in the air like a fog. Teal could feel his heart pounding in his chest, a nervous energy coursing through his veins. He wanted to say something, to break the silence, but the words stuck in his throat, his mind racing with a thousand different thoughts and fears.

Instead, he reached out, his hand tentatively seeking Teal's. Teal looked up at him, his blue eyes wide with surprise. Their fingers brushed, and Zane gently laced his hand with Teal's, their grip shy and uncertain, a stark contrast to their earlier embrace. Teal squeezed Zane's hand softly, a small smile playing on his lips. "I'm sorry, Zane," he whispered, his voice barely audible. "I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable." Zane looked down at their intertwined hands, his thumb gently tracing circles on the back of Teal's. "It's okay, Teal," he said quietly, his voice barely above a whisper. "I just need some time to wrap my head around this. You're not the only one who's confused, you know." Teal's smile faded, his eyes filled with concern.

"You sure, Zane? I don't want to rush you, but... but we should probably get going. The loudspeaker just announced that the estrogen boys need to report to the infirmary for our shots and T-blockers."

Zane's gaze snapped up, his eyes wide with surprise. "Already? I didn't realize it was that time again." He quickly stood up, grabbing his tray and dumping the remnants of his breakfast into the nearest bin. "Let's go," he said, holding out a hand to help Teal up. Teal slipped his hand into Zane's, a small smile playing on his lips as their fingers intertwined. They walked side by side, their footsteps echoing off the tiled floor of the dining hall as they made their way towards the door.

Teal's heart felt light, like he was walking on air, his hand firmly gripped in Zane's. He could feel the warmth of Zane's palm against his own, the gentle pressure of Zane's fingers as they laced together. He looked up at Zane, his eyes sparkling with a mix of nervousness and excitement. "You know, I never really thought I'd be doing this," he said softly, his voice barely above a whisper.

Zane glanced down at him, his dark eyes softening at the sight of Teal's flushed cheeks and bright blue eyes. "Doing what?" he asked, his voice a gentle rumble.

"Holding hands with someone like this," Teal explained, his free hand gesturing vaguely between them. "I mean, I've held hands with girls before, but... but this is different.

With you, it feels... real," Teal said, his voice soft and sincere.

Zane looked down at him, his dark eyes filled with a mix of confusion and tenderness. "Real?" he echoed, his voice barely above a whisper.

Teal nodded, his grip on Zane's hand tightening slightly. "Yeah, real. Like, I don't know, I feel like... I feel like I'm truly connecting with you. Not just as a friend, but as... as something more. And I was wondering, do you still see me as a guy, Zane? Even with the skirt and all this other stuff?"

Zane's steps faltered slightly, his expression turning thoughtful as he considered Teal's question. He looked down at Teal, his eyes searching Teal's face for any sign of nerves or insecurity.

Seeing none, he answered honestly, "No, I don't see you as just a guy anymore, Teal. And I don't think I've seen you as just a guy for a while now." He paused, his voice dropping to a whisper. "You're something different now, something more. Something special."

Teal's heart swelled at Zane's words, and he felt a rush of warmth spread through him. He squeezed Zane's hand, his voice soft and sincere. "Thank you, Zane.

That means a lot to me," Teal said, his voice soft and dreamy as they walked towards the infirmary. As they made their way down the quiet corridors, Teal found himself daydreaming about a future with Zane, a future where they were more than just friends. He imagined Zane sweeping him off his feet, their laughter echoing through a grand house filled with the scent of home-cooked meals and the sound of children's laughter. In his mind's eye, Teal saw himself as the perfect housewife, his belly swollen with Zane's child, their little ones running around with Zane's athletic build and Teal's big blue eyes.
