Chapter 1: Prepped and Ready: The First Dose of Control
The fluorescent lights hummed overhead, bleaching everything sterile white. Antiseptic bit at the back of Daniel’s throat. Operating Room 3 felt unnervingly quiet without the usual bustle of a real surgery, just the soft, rhythmic beep of the disconnected heart monitor and the low thrum of the anesthesia machine. Gleaming steel instruments lay untouched on trays. The starkness was a pressure cooker.
Reece lay flat on the cold stainless-steel table, naked. His skin prickled against the metal. A flush crept up his neck, clashing with the clinical setting. He was hard, achingly so, the sight both vulnerable and intensely out of place amidst the sterility. His gaze flickered between Kennedy and Daniel, wide with a mix of raw need and deep-seated shame.
"Relax, Reece," Kennedy murmured, her voice a low purr that cut through the machine hum. She stood near his feet, a predator surveying her domain. Her hazel eyes held a spark of dangerous amusement. "We’re just… calibrating the equipment." Slowly, deliberately, she hooked a thumb under the cuff of her right scrub sock. The soft cotton slid down her calf, inch by torturous inch, revealing the pale arch of her foot. Her toes flexed deliberately against the cool linoleum floor, each movement calculated. "Cold down here."
Reece swallowed hard, a dry click in his throat. His eyes were glued to her feet. "Kennedy…"
"Shhh." She silenced him with a look, peeling off the other sock just as slowly. The discarded fabric pooled on the floor like a forgotten thought. She wriggled her bare toes, the polished nails catching the harsh light. "You trust us, right? Completely?"
He nodded, a jerky movement. "Yeah. Yeah, I do. It’s just…"
"Just different?" Daniel finished for him, his voice tight. He stood by Reece’s head, adjusting the knobs on the anesthesia machine. His dark hair was slightly mussed under his surgical cap, intense blue eyes focused on the dials, avoiding Reece’s nakedness. The request had been bizarre, unsettling. A medical student wanting to be anesthetized, naked, while Kennedy… indulged his specific fixation? It twisted Daniel’s professional instincts into knots. Yet, seeing Reece’s raw vulnerability, Kennedy’s absolute confidence, and the forbidden thrill simmering under the surface… it was a current pulling him in. He looked down at Reece. "Different doesn’t mean wrong. Just requires a unique approach. You sure about this? Last chance to bail." His tone was calm, professional, but there was an undercurrent he hadn’t intended – curiosity, maybe a flicker of shared excitement.
"Dead sure," Reece breathed, his voice thick. His knuckles were white where he gripped the edge of the table. "Please. I want this. Need it. The… the forgetting part. The not knowing, just… feeling." He glanced again at Kennedy’s feet, a helpless tremor running through him.
Kennedy stepped closer to the table, her bare feet silent on the floor. She ran a cool fingertip lightly along the sole of Reece’s foot. He gasped, arching slightly off the table. "Feeling is the point, sweetheart," she said, her gaze locking with Daniel’s over Reece’s prone body. A silent challenge passed between them. Her lips curved into a small, knowing smile. "But only the good feelings. Right, Daniel? The machine will take care of the rest."
Daniel picked up the clear anesthesia mask, its rubber edges soft against his fingers. He saw Reece tense. Saw the flicker of primal fear beneath the arousal. He leaned down, bringing his face close to Reece’s ear. His playful side, usually reserved for Kennedy and Reece outside these walls, surged forward, mingling with the doctor. His voice dropped, low and conspiratorial, a stark contrast to the sterile room. "Listen to me. You’re going under, deep under. When you wake up? You won’t remember a single damn second of what happens in this room." He paused, letting the words hang. "But Reece?" He saw Reece’s eyes widen, focused entirely on him. "Your body? It’ll remember everything. Every touch. Every sensation." He let his gaze drift meaningfully towards Kennedy’s bare feet near the end of the table. "Especially the pleasure. That’s all you’ll know. Just pure, incredible pleasure. Like the best dream you never knew you could have. And you won’t even know why." He gave a slow, deliberate wink. "Sound good?"
Reece’s breath hitched. He looked terrified. He looked ecstatic. "Y-yes," he choked out. "Please."
Kennedy’s smile widened, predatory and pleased. She rested one bare foot lightly on the edge of the table near Reece’s hip, a silent claim. "Then don’t keep him waiting, Doctor."
Daniel’s own pulse hammered against his ribs. The boundary had dissolved. He placed the mask gently over Reece’s nose and mouth. "Breathe deep, Reece," he instructed, his earlier hesitation replaced by a dark, shared complicity. His thumb hovered over the vaporizer control. Reece’s eyes, wide and trusting, stared up at him. "Don’t fight it. Just let go. Let the good feelings sink in." He gave Kennedy one last look – a look heavy with anticipation, attraction, and the thrill of the forbidden – and pressed the control knob down. A soft hiss filled the silence.
Reece’s eyes fluttered. His body relaxed, the tension draining away under the chemical wave. His last conscious sight was Kennedy leaning closer, her blonde hair a halo in the harsh light, her expression one of absolute dominance, and Daniel’s intense blue eyes watching him drift away, promising oblivion and remembered bliss. The beep of the heart monitor steadied into a slow, deep rhythm as the world dissolved into swirling, welcoming darkness. Daniel watched the monitor, the thrill coiling tight in his gut. The machine hummed. The game was on.
