Chapter 3: The Aerial Tease
The air turned syrupy sweet as Lena climbed, the quad unfolding beneath her like a green velvet map. Her dress snapped against her thighs, the fabric thin and useless against the wind, and she laughed, a sound that felt too loud in the empty sky. Nine threads hummed in the back of her mind, a chorus of willing voices, and the power sang through her blood like champagne. She rolled her shoulders, felt the current of it crackle along her skin, and dipped lower, skimming the treeline.
Below, the freshman dorm spewed its occupants onto the lawn. Boys in backwards caps and baggy shorts, jostling and shoving, their laughter carrying up in bright, careless bursts. A Frisbee spun in a lazy arc. Someone had a speaker propped on a windowsill, thumping a bassline that vibrated through her chest even at this height.
Lena hovered, letting the wind take some of her weight, and watched them. So young. So easy. Their hormones practically radiated off them in waves, a heat haze of want and bravado and the desperate need to impress each other. She could feel them, if she concentrated, a dozen little pulses of yearning, unfocused but ravenous.
She smiled.
And dropped.
She came down slow, deliberately slow, descending just above the edge of the lawn where the grass met the sidewalk. The boys noticed her at once. Of course they did. A woman in a slip of a dress, hovering six feet off the ground, her auburn hair tossing in the breeze, her green eyes gleaming like cut glass. One of them, a sandy-haired kid with a jaw full of braces, pointed. The Frisbee hit the grass and no one picked it up.
"Whoa," someone said, and the word carried.
Lena held their gaze, sweeping it across the little cluster, and she felt each pair of eyes latch onto her like hooks. She reached behind her back, fingers finding the zipper of her dress, and pulled it down with a soft, deliberate hiss. The fabric loosened. She let it slide off her shoulders, slowly, letting it catch on the swell of her breasts before it fell to her waist, pooling around her hips.
A collective intake of breath. The boys had gone statue-still, phones dangling from limp fingers, mouths slightly open.
"Evening, gentlemen," Lena called down, and her voice was warm and low, a purr that carried on the breeze. "Hope I'm not interrupting anything important."
The braces kid shook his head. Another one, tall and lanky with a shock of red hair, croaked out a response that didn't resolve into words.
Lena laughed, bright and pleased, and drifted lower, until her bare feet hovered a foot above the grass. Her skirt, loose and flowing, rode up her thighs as she moved, and she didn't bother to push it back down. She reached for the zipper at her side, small and silver, and tugged it open with an exaggerated slowness. The skirt gaped. Another inch of skin, pale and smooth, caught the fading sunlight.
The air thickened. She felt it, the weight of their hunger pressing on her from all sides, a dozen sources of heat converging on her body, and each one was a thread, a filament, a strand of glowing potential waiting to be woven. Her mind ached with the sweetness of it. She closed her eyes for a moment and let herself bask.
In the quad, the boys had begun to drift toward her, an unconscious gravitation. Their mouths hung slack. Their eyes were fixed on the exposed curve of her hip, the shadowed hollow of her belly, the way the skirt clung to her thighs.
"Don't be shy," she said, and her voice was silk over the bassline. She let the skirt slide down, inch by inch, until it pooled at her feet and she stood naked above them, a vision of ivory flesh against the gold of the afternoon. The dress and skirt hung in the air beside her, suspended by an absent flick of her will.
The redhead moaned. It was a thin, hurt noise, and it set the others off, a chorus of whimpers and sharp breaths.
Lena smiled down at them. Her power sang, a chorus of its own, and she reached out with it like a hand, seeking the soft, bright spots of their desperation. She touched the braces kid first, felt him flinch and then go pliant, a thread of silver light spinning from his forehead into her mind. Then the redhead, then a stocky kid in a football jersey, then another, and another, until the air around her shimmered with a web of fresh, eager threads.
"How do you feel, boys?" she asked, and her voice was honey and steel.
"Yours," they said, in ragged unison, and the sound of it shook her to the core.
She laughed again, light and drunk with it. Her power surged, a sweet flood that made her limbs feel weightless, her skin electric. She let herself drift lower, until her bare feet touched the grass, and she stood among them, radiant and unashamed.
"Good," she said. "Now let's play."
She turned to the redhead, the one who'd moaned, and studied him with a curator's eye. He was lanky, pale, trembling like a leaf in her presence. His hands hung useless at his sides, his gaze locked on her breasts as if he'd never seen a woman before.
"You," she said. "You look like you need a little something extra."
His brow furrowed in confusion, but before he could form a question, she extended her hand and let her power coil outward, a thread of pure will that wrapped around his hips and squeezed. He gasped, hands flying to his crotch. She felt the flesh there shift, respond, grow beneath his fingers, swelling and stretching until the fabric of his shorts bulged obscenely. His eyes went wide and white.
Lena watched, fascinated, as the bulge pushed against his waistband, impossibly thick, straining at the seams. She flicked her wrist and his shorts vanished, and the cock that hung between his legs was a work of art: nine inches, veined and heavy, standing at full attention from his trembling body.
The other boys stared, mouths open, a choir of stuttering breaths.
"Better," Lena said, circling him slowly, her fingers trailing along the shaft. He bucked into her touch, a pathetic, desperate noise escaping his throat. "Much better. Now all of you, on your knees."
The word hung in the air like a struck bell, and the boys folded to their knees as if their strings had been cut. All of them, the braces kid, the redhead, the stocky football-jersey kid, the ones in backwards caps and baggy shorts. A dozen bodies dropping onto the grass in perfect, synchronized compliance, their eyes still locked on her naked form, their mouths slack with dazed devotion.
Lena walked among them slowly, savoring the crunch of grass beneath her bare feet, the way their heads turned to track her movement like sunflowers following the sun. The redhead was still trembling, his enormous cock standing slick and heavy against his stomach, pre-cum beading at the tip. She reached down and wrapped her fingers around the base, felt him shudder at the contact.
"You want this to feel good?" she murmured. "Then keep your eyes on me."
He nodded frantically, and Lena felt the thread between them tighten, a bright silver strand binding his will to hers. She pumped him slow, watching his face contort with desperate need, and the power inside her sang.
