Chapter 1: Introduction
"Kindra kicked off her heels and sighed loudly, collapsing on the huge king-size bed in the center of the hotel room. She wriggled, giggling when the red silk sheet tickled her neck and face as she arranged herself in a more comfortable position. "This bed is enormous!" she exclaimed.
Her friends giggled in response.
Savannah, the one who had arranged the bachelorette weekend, adjusted the tiara on her head and grinned. "Well, it's a once-in-a-lifetime occasion." She glanced around the room, appreciation shining in her eyes. "And I think we deserve to live it up while we can."
Des, Kindra's other friend, huffed as she wrestled open her suitcase. "We always deserve to live it up," she deadpanned. "That's just a fact."
Kindra chuckled. "You two are too much.
Always ready for a party." Kindra rolled onto her side, resting her head in her hand and grinning at her friends. They were opposites in so many ways, yet they had bonded instantly when Kindra moved into their dorm rooms on campus. Savannah was tall, blonde and had a bubbly personality, never meeting a stranger, while Des was shorter, brunette and a bit more rebellious and wild.
Savannah shrugged. "What's life if you can't have a little fun?" she asked.
"I've ordered a male stripper for some entertainment later on, but until then, let's make the most of this amazing room!"
Des grinned. "Oh, I definitely plan to. That view is crying out to be admired from the Jacuzzi tub!" She waggled her eyebrows enticingly, and Kindra laughed. "You and your water obsession. Maybe I should have brought my swimsuit after all."
Savannah rolled her eyes. "I told you to, but no, you didn't listen!" She mock-scolded.
"But don't worry, I brought a few extras just in case." She pulled out a drawer from the dresser and revealed several vibrant bikinis from different brands and sizes. "Pick your favorite, or be daring and take both!"
Meanwhile, Kindra explored the rest of the luxurious hotel suite. It was even more magnificent than she had imagined, with floor-to-ceiling windows that revealed a breathtaking view of the city skyline.
