Hera, a new exchange student at BigU, has lived with a penis her entire life. She decides to explore who she is by letting loose and having some fun, but is she ready for the growth she is about to unleash?

Chapter 1: Liquid Courage and Growing Desires

The third tequila shot was the one that did it. It wasn’t the burn down her throat, but the warm, liquid courage that pooled in her stomach afterward. Hera watched Kai, her tiny roommate, attempt a celebratory dance on the threadbare dorm rug, her laughter bouncing off the cinderblock walls.

“Your turn! Truth or dare, no copping out,” Kai chirped, collapsing onto her beanbag chair. The neon glow from her BigU poster painted her skin in cyan and magenta.

“Truth,” Hera said, her voice quieter than she intended.

Kai leaned forward, her eyes sparkling with mischief. “What’s the one thing you’ve never told anyone here?”

The question hung in the air, thick as the scent of lavender from Hera’s unlit candle. She could lie. She had lied before, by omission, every day. But the tequila and the safety of this cluttered, electric-smelling room pressed the truth against her teeth.

“I have a penis.”

Silence. Not the bad kind, just a full, stunned pause where the hum of Kai’s computer tower seemed to grow louder. Kai blinked. Her gaze didn’t drop to Hera’s sweatpants, didn’t flicker with disgust. It stayed on her face, searching.

“Okay,” Kai said, slowly. Then, a grin split her features. “So, like, right now?”

A burst of startled laughter escaped Hera. “Yeah, Kai. Right now.”

“Can I see it?”

The question was so blunt, so devoid of judgment, that it stripped away the last of Hera’s anxiety. “You’re not… weirded out?”

“Are you kidding? I’m fascinated.” Kai crawled off the beanbag and onto Hera’s bed, her movements a little unsteady from the alcohol. She sat cross-legged, an eager scholar. “I mean, you’re obviously a woman. You’re hot as hell. This is just… a fascinating accessory.”

Accessory. The word made something tight in Hera’s chest loosen. She took a breath, then hooked her thumbs into the waistband of her sweats. She pushed them down, just past her hips.

Kai didn’t say anything for a long moment. She just looked, her head tilted. “Huh,” she finally murmured. “It’s prettier than the ones in porn.”

Another laugh, easier this time. “I don’t know what to do with that compliment.”

“Well,” Kai said, her bubbly demeanor softening into something more intense. The tequila flirtatiousness was still there, but it had a new, focused heat. “What do you want to do with it?”

The air crackled. Hera’s heart hammered against her ribs. “I don’t know. I’ve never… with someone else.”

Kai’s hand was suddenly on her knee, a warm, grounding weight. “Can I touch it?”

Hera could only nod.

Kai’s fingers were gentle, curious. The contact was so alien, so profoundly different from her own touch, that Hera gasped. It was a simple, clinical exploration at first. Then Kai wrapped her hand around her, and the clinical vanished.

“It’s getting bigger,” Kai observed, wonder in her voice.

“You’re good at that.”

“I have talented hands.” Kai’s smirk was back, but her eyes were dark. Without breaking eye contact, she leaned down.

The first hot, wet touch of Kai’s tongue made Hera jolt. A soft, punched-out moan filled the room. Kai hummed in approval, the vibration traveling straight to Hera’s core. She began to lick in earnest, kittenish and then bolder, her lips sliding around the head.

Hera’s head fell back against the wall. Her hands fisted in her own comforter. Every nerve was alive, singing a song she’d never heard. She’d imagined this, of course, in the quiet dark, but imagination was a weak, pale ghost next to this reality—the sound, the slick heat, the utterly surrendered look on Kai’s face as she took her deeper.

“Kai…”

Kai pulled off with a soft pop. “You taste amazing,” she breathed, and dove back in.

Hera’s hips stuttered upward. She was close, a tension coiling unbearably tight low in her belly. She tried to warn her, a garbled syllable, but it was too late. Pleasure detonated, white-hot and shocking. She cried out, back arching off the bed.

Kai stayed with her, swallowing, until Hera was a trembling, spent heap. She finally pulled back, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand, a dazed, triumphant smile on her face.

Then she stood up.

And kept standing.

Hera, bliss-fogged, stared. Kai had always been petite, the top of her head barely level with Hera’s chin. Now, as Kai shifted on her feet, she was looking straight into Hera’s eyes.

“Whoa,” Kai whispered, looking down at herself. She took an experimental step toward Hera’s dresser, where a weathered height chart was taped. She pressed her back against it. “Hera. Look.”

Hera scrambled to her knees on the bed. The pencil mark from last week’s silly measuring contest was there, at 4’11”. The top of Kai’s head now brushed a fresh, impossible line well over 5’2”.

“How…?” Hera breathed.

Kai turned, her eyes wide with awe, not fear. She looked at Hera, then down at the evidence of Hera’s release still glistening on her own lips. “It was you. Or… me tasting you.” She stretched her arms over her head, a full-body shudder of delight running through her. “I feel… incredible. Lighter. Stronger.”

A slow, dangerous curiosity cut through Hera’s afterglow. Her body was already responding again, stirring back to life with a hunger that was entirely new. She swung her legs off the bed and stood. They were now nearly eye-to-eye.

“Do you want to test it again?” Hera asked, her voice low.

Kai’s answer was to kiss her. It was fierce and messy, tasting of salt and tequila and herself. Hera’s hands came up to cradle Kai’s face—a face she no longer had to bend down to reach.

A loud buzz shattered the moment. Kai’s phone, discarded on the floor, lit up with a notification. She broke the kiss, groaning. “It’s my study group reminder. For that hellish econ midterm.”

Reality, cold and mundane, seeped back into the room. The neon light still buzzed. The half-read books still sat in a pile. Hera’s candle remained unlit.

Kai didn’t move away. She rested her forehead against Hera’s, their breaths mingling. Her hands slid down to Hera’s hips, thumbs rubbing circles on the bare skin. “This isn’t over,” she stated, a promise.

“No,” Hera agreed, a thrilling certainty settling in her bones. “It’s really not.”

She watched as Kai, now undeniably taller, swayed slightly on her feet as she bent to pick up her phone. The world had tilted on its axis. The adventure, it seemed, was just beginning.
