The Breeding Program's Brightest Bloom
Read the storyRuby, a very dumb young pregnant woman eagerly participating in her town's female training and breeding program, attends an appointment with Dr. Julia Willis, the course's monitoring physician, to review the effects of her ongoing regimen of Ovifem, the course's potent fertility and libido enhancing compound, on her brain. She is aware from her previous appointment six months ago that the Ovifem has already caused her intelligence to drop, but isn't distressed or upset by this, having been taught by the course that it's okay for some women to be dumb, slutty and fertile instead of smart, and having no particular attachment to the idea of being smart, having been identified as having slightly below average intelligence well before entering the course. Dr. Willis begins the appointment by refreshing Ruby on her situation so far, going over the results of her previous appointment, showing how when she entered the course her IQ, which was only 96 when entering the course, gradually dropped a further five points to 91 over the first six months of the program. She points out on Ruby's previous brain scan how she exacerbated the drop, which in some female trainees is only one or two points and in some smarter women doesn't happen at all, with her high libido, frequent powerful orgasms and sex involving frequent cervical contact, rewiring her brain. She then shows Ruby the results of her most recent assessments, showing how after being impregnated by another trainee five months ago her rate of cognitive decline increased slightly, dropping from 91 to 90 in the month preceding impregnation, then from 90 all the way down to 82 in the five months since then. She shows Ruby her newest brain scan, pointing out the areas affected by the pregnancy and areas that she has continued to degrade with her orgasms and sexual activity, even after being informed of the effects at her last appointment. She shows ruby where she now falls in the population average and the local, much lower average for women in the breeding program, which she is still a bit below. She tells Ruby that this drops her out of the Below Average monitoring group and places her in the Low Intelligence monitoring group, which isn't eligible for most career training, but is encouraged to get pregnant and subsidised to do so. She congratulates Ruby on her progress, and Ruby leaves proud and satisfied. The story has no horror components. All characters are adults.
