Chapter 6: Mine

She woke to the soft, insistent pressure of his lips tracing the inside of her thigh. His hands spread her open, and then his mouth was on her, his tongue a slow, deliberate stroke that had her arching off the sheets before she was fully conscious. “Good morning,” he murmured against her wet flesh, his breath hot, and then he devoured her, licking and sucking until her hips rocked mindlessly against his face. He brought her to the edge twice, denying her release both times with a cruel, knowing withdrawal that left her gasping.

He pulled her, trembling, into the steam of the shower, pinning her against the cold marble. “Now,” he growled, entering her in one fluid, demanding thrust, the hot water sluicing over them as he fucked her with a relentless, waking rhythm. “Scream for me,” he commanded, and she did, her cries echoing off the tiles as he pounded into her, his hands gripping her hips hard enough to bruise, claiming her completely until she shattered around him.

"Mine," he said as spilled into her. "All mine." He kissed her temple.

In the aftermath, he washed her body with a care and concern that made her heart squeeze in her chest. His dark eyes fluttered up to hers.

"How do you feel?" He asked, framing her face with his hands.

Rachel took a deep breath, taking stock of her chaotic emotions. "Overwhelmed. Cared for. Cherished....A little sore."

He chuckled before he gave her a lingering kiss. "Good. That was an honest answer. That's all I ever really ask of you. To be honest and truthful with me." He kissed her forehead in a gesture that was all too sweet.

Later, wrapped in thick robes, they ate ripe figs and almond yogurt overlooking the snowy city. “The Danish minister is all rhetoric, no money,” Amir said, tapping his tablet. “Avoid him. The Singaporean sovereign fund is your true target; be direct.” He slid the device toward her, a list of names highlighted. “But these three—Leo, Brad, Orlando—they are different. They offer more than money. They offer amplification.”

He leaned back, his gaze possessive. “You belong to me, Rachel. Every sigh, every climax, is mine.” His voice dropped, a dark velvet promise. “But I don’t mind sharing my things, so long as I decide when, and where, and how my beautiful submissive is shared.” A shocking, liquid heat pooled low in her belly, her pulse quickening at his words. She was surprised to find how much that turned her on.

"So be your charming self. But don't agree to their requests for dinner or lunch or drinks. They want more from you than that and they'll use any excuse to get you alone."

Rachel shook her head, amusement flashing in her eyes. "They're actors, Amir. They date models and actresses. I very much doubt they have any interest in me romantically." She took a sip of her coffee.

Amir's expression turned dark. Maybe even angry. "Are you suggesting that you're not as beautiful as any actress or model?"

The air electrified.

Rachel's eyes widened. She hardly breathed.

Amir's gaze narrowed. He leaned forward, his expression hard. "We're going to have to work on your self worth. This is a dangerous miscalculation."

Rachel waived away his words. "I wasn't suggesting I'm not beautiful. I'm just not stick thin. Or under the age of 25. These men all date...half children. And they usually stick to models and actresses. Can you really see any of them chasing after the CEO of an AI company?" She gave dry chuckle.

Amir wasn't fooled by her deflection. His expression became hard as granite. "Honesty, Rachel. I told you that all I ask for is honesty. I saw the way those men looked at you. The second you walked into the room, they sought you out. Like bloodhounds. You can't go on being modest or deflecting. You must be aware of them. They'll be the first to lure you into any dark corner they can find. They want you. Badly." He took hold of her chin. "But they can't have you. Not without me there to watch over you."

Rachel blushed as heat raced everywhere at once. "Fine. Fine. Maybe they were interested in more than the company I run. I was just trying not to sound...full of myself."

He snorted, shaking his head. "You were trying to deny the obvious. Why?"

She shrugged. "It sounds...arrogant...to claim their attentions. Or yours. I don't think of myself as the woman attracting billionaires and celebrities. It just...happens."

He leaned over, nose to nose, eyes to eye. "It happens because we recognize a queen when we see one. I usually date models and actresses but I don't give them anything close to what I've given you. And I never will. You are my queen."

Rachel blushed looking away. "You know I'm married. Polyamorous but still married."

Amir chuckled, leaning back, releasing her chin. "Doesn't matter in the slightest. Your husband doesn't give you what I give you, does he?"

Rachel shifted, shaking her head. "No."

Amir smirked. "You are my queen. I am your king. We rule together. And I protect and nurture what's mine."
