Chapter 1: Goodbye Girl
The brass knocker was cold under her fingertips. The door yawned open like a hungry mouth, and the scent hit her first—sandalwood incense, layered over something darker, something that smelled of leather and waiting. The foyer was dim, the only light bleeding from a single sconce further down the hallway. Each step across the threshold felt like crossing a border into a country with different laws.
“You’re sure?” Aaron’s voice was tight behind her.
Rachel didn’t turn around. She focused on hanging her lightweight jacket on the wrought-iron hook, her movements deliberate. “We signed the papers, Aaron. The OPCC approved the contract. It’s real., i am sorry i diddnt mean to sign the contract.”
“I know ” He sighed, "this hotwife thing..... I just didn't know these contacts where real." His arms went around her from behind, his hug squeezing the air from her lungs. He buried his nose in the curve of her neck, inhaling the new perfume she’d bought for tonight—jasmine and night-blooming orchid. A Nicole scent. “I just… smell you. One more time.”
Her heart thudded, a trapped thing against her ribs. She let him hold her, her eyes fixed on the hallway ahead. "I am Nicole now" she reminded herself. It stretched into shadow, lined with framed photos of their daughter’s graduation, their trip to Maine, a life that belonged to Rachel. Nicole had no use for them.
A car engine growled outside, a low, impatient rumble that vibrated through the floorboards.
Aaron’s arms stiffened. He released her.
She stepped away, the space between them immediately filling with a charge. Her left hand went to the simple platinum band on her finger. She twisted it once, a nervous habit, then slipped it off, reverently and placed it on the counter.
“I have my phone,” she said, not looking at him.
“Scott said no phones. Part of the… terms.”
“For emergencies, Aaron. My terms.” Her voice was firmer than she felt. She turned finally. His face was pale, his jaw working. She leaned in, pressed a dry kiss to his cheek. “I’ll text when I’m on my way back.”
She didn’t wait for a reply. She walked to the door, her heels loud on the hardwood. Nicole’s heels. Opening it, the night air was cool. Scott’s black SUV idled at the curb, exhaust puffing into the streetlight’s halo. He was leaning against the driver’s side door, arms crossed. He wasn’t watching the house; he was staring at his own reflection in the dark window, a man comfortable in his own silhouette.
As she approached, he turned his head. His gaze swept over her—the black dress that ended mid-thigh, the sheer stockings, the way her hair was pinned up to expose her neck. A slow smile touched his lips. It wasn’t a warm smile. It was an appraisal. A confirmation.
“Nicole,” he said. Her name in his voice was different. A command.
“Scott.”
"Oh no, not anymore." He said with a dark smile. "That was before you signed the contract, now you call me Daddy or Alpha." She tried the word out for size, "Yes, D-Daddy."
"Good Girl" He said as he patted her cheek. That praise sent a shock right through her. She loved it, needed it....From her Daddy, from her Alpha. She wondered why we wanted to be called Alpha.
He pushed off the car and opened the passenger door for her. No kiss. No hand on her back. Just the open maw of the vehicle. She slid in, the leather sighing cold under her. The interior smelled like him—clean, sharp, with a hint of clove.
He got in, the SUV dipping with his weight. The door closed with a solid, expensive thud. The sound sealed her in. He didn’t start driving immediately. He just looked at her, the quiet punctuated only by the engine’s purr.
“Nervous?”
“A little.”
“Good.” He reached over, his fingers not touching her skin but hooking a thin silver chain around her neck. He some how locked it and tugged gently, until the small pendant—a stylized wolf’s head—rested in the center of her collarbone. “This looks right on you. Aaron didn’t give you any trouble?”
“No trouble.”
“He held on too long when he hugged you goodbye. I saw it through the window.” Scott released the pendant, letting it fall cold against her skin. “That ends now. For the next forty-eight hours, you don’t think about him. You signed my contract I am your Dom, and you are my Sub untill i release you. It is up on display with the other contracts at the federal court house. My control is the air you breathe. Understood?”
His words were calm, factual. They weren’t a question. She felt a shiver that started deep in her belly and radiated outward. It wasn’t fear. It was the terrifying, seductive feeling of a weight being lifted. The weight of decisions, of politeness, of being responsible Rachel.
“Understood.”
He put the car in drive and pulled away from the curb. She didn’t look back at the house, at the warm yellow square of the living room window. She watched the streetlights strobe across his profile—the strong nose, the focused set of his mouth.
“We’re going to my place first,” he said. “We’ll review the contract clauses one more time. Then tomorrow I’ll introduce you to the rest of the pack, or at least the ones that are in town.”
“the pack?” The word jumped out of her.
He glanced at her, a flicker of amusement in his eyes. “My wolf pack, Nicole. I told you I don’t play alone, I am the alpha, but i have a pack to keep satisfied also. You are mine now, but remember what you agreed to in the contract, you agreed to the pack. You met Marcus and Derek briefly at the club. They’ll be there. This is about integration.”
The contract. She’d read it, signed it, but the language had been so formal. The Dominant Party may, at his discretion, facilitate structured interactions with vetted members of his established circle... It had seemed abstract then. Now, it was a car heading towards a unknown address, and the promise of more men, more eyes, more hunger.
“I didn’t realize… it would be tonight.”
“Well they will not be formerly introduced to you till the morning.” He reached over and placed his right hand on her knee. The heat of his palm burned through the sheer nylon. His grip was firm, possessive. It stilled her fidgeting leg. “This is what you wanted. You asked for control to be taken. For the mind to stop racing. This is how it’s done. You don’t get to piecemeal the surrender.”
She swallowed, nodding slowly. Her pulse hammered under his hand.
“Use your words, Nicole.”
“Yes,” she whispered. Then, clearer: “Yes Daddy.”
“Good girl.” He removed his hand, returning it to the gear shift. The praise, two simple words, lit up a pathetic, glowing circuit inside her. She stared out the window at the passing night, the anonymous stores and blinking traffic lights. The ring was off. The door was closed. The car was moving. There was no itinerary, no safe word for backing out now. Only forward, into the dim hallway of his world, towards the sound of boots and the scent of something hungry waiting in the shadows. She took a deep, shaky breath, and let the last thought of Aaron dissolve into the night air rushing past the window.

The city blurred into streaks of neon and shadow. Scott didn’t speak, and the silence wasn’t empty; it was full of his presence, the scent of him, the low hum of the engine. After twenty minutes, he signaled and pulled into the lot of a dimly-lit Italian place, its windows glowing warm against the dark street.
“We’re eating,” he stated, killing the engine.
“I’m not really hungry.”
He turned to look at her, his face half in shadow. “I didn’t ask. You’ll need your strength. Come.”
Inside, the hostess greeted him by name, her eyes flicking to Nicole with practiced neutrality. “Your usual table, Scott?”
“Please.”
It was a secluded booth in the back, upholstered in deep red leather. Instead of sliding in opposite her, Scott guided her into the corner and then sat down right beside her, his thigh pressing firmly against hers. The move was so deliberate, so possessive, it stole the air from her lungs. He was boxing her in, his broad shoulder blocking the view of the rest of the restaurant. Her world narrowed to the wood of the table, the crystal of the salt shaker, the heat of his leg.
A waiter brought menus and water. Scott ordered for them both without consulting her—a bottle of Barolo, the osso buco, a kale salad. When the waiter left, Scott’s left hand settled on her knee beneath the tablecloth. She jumped.
“Easy,” he murmured, his voice a low rumble meant only for her. His thumb began to stroke slow, idle circles on the inside of her knee. The contact was electric, a direct line to her core. She focused on breathing, on keeping her face neutral as a couple was seated two tables over. The wine came. He tasted it, nodded, and the waiter poured. Scott’s hand never stopped its gentle, maddening motion. He took a sip of his wine with his right hand, his attention seemingly on the label, while his left hand began a slow, inexorable journey upward. The nylon of her stocking whispered under his palm.
“You’re trembling,” he observed, his lips close to her ear. His fingers slid higher, tracing the lace top of her stocking, then onto the bare skin of her inner thigh.
She gripped her wine glass, the stem slippery in her fingers. She took a gulp, the wine rich and dark, doing nothing to cool the fire he was stoking. His touch was hypnotic, not rough, but utterly confident. He knew the territory. He explored it with a lazy ownership that made her want to both press into his hand and squirm away.
The food arrived. The rich smell of braised meat and rosemary filled the space between them. Scott served her a portion, his movements efficient. “Eat, Nicole.”
She picked up her fork. His fingers dipped lower, a feather-light brush against the damp silk of her panties. A soft, involuntary sound escaped her throat. She clenched her thighs, trapping his hand for a moment.
He leaned in, his breath hot on her neck. “Open.”
It was a whisper, a command. A shudder wracked her. Slowly, her muscles unlocked. He didn’t plunge his hand inside her. He was a master of anticipation. He palmed her over the silk, the heel of his hand applying a steady, rhythmic pressure that had her back arching slightly against the leather booth. She cut a piece of veal, brought it to her mouth, chewed. She tasted nothing. Every nerve ending was pulled taut, focused on the slow, circular grind of his hand.
Conversation drifted from other tables. The clink of silverware.Laughter. It was all a distant soundtrack to the roaring in her ears. She was wet, soaking through the thin fabric, a humiliating, thrilling betrayal of her body.He could feel it. His smile was a subtle curve of lips as he took a bite of his own food.
“Good girl,” he said softly, forking up some kale. “Eating what Daddy gives you.”
The dual meaning was unmistakable. Heat flooded her cheeks. She was spread open under a tablecloth in a public restaurant, being methodically worked to the edge by a man who was watching her try to remember how to swallow. His fingers finally slipped under the elastic waistband, tracing her slick folds with a clinical precision that was utterly devastating.
She dropped her fork. It clattered loudly on the plate.
“Pick it up,” he said, his voice calm. He didn’t stop his movements. His index finger slid inside her, just to the first knuckle, then retreated.
She fumbled for the fork, her vision swimming. She was achingly full, desperate for more, for the release he was expertly withholding. Every shallow penetration was a promise and a punishment. He was programming her, teaching her that her pleasure was his to dispense, on his terms, in his time.
“Please,” she breathed, the word leaving her lips before she could cage it.
“Please what?” He took a leisurely sip of wine, his finger still playing at her entrance.
She couldn’t say it. She shook her head, a strand of hair falling from her pin.
“You’ll ask properly later,” he said, withdrawing his hand completely.
The loss was a physical pain. She gasped. He brought his fingers to his nose, inhaled deeply, then casually licked them clean, his eyes locked on hers. The obscenity of the act, done with such casual grace, left her reeling.
He signaled for the check, never looking away from her. “You’re ready now,” he stated, his voice thick with satisfaction. He threw cash on the table, stood, and pulled her up by her elbow. Her legs were liquid, unsteady. She could feel the cool air on the dampness between her thighs, a shocking intimacy as he guided her back through the restaurant, past the oblivious diners, and out into the waiting night.

The ride to his house was a silent, vibrating blur. His hand returned to her leg, a heavy, warm brand just above her knee, his thumb tracing idle patterns that said mine more clearly than any words. She stared out the window, watching the suburban streets give way to wooded lanes, large homes set back from the road behind gates and mature trees. Her body was a live wire, every nerve still singing from what he’d done in the booth. The humiliation was a dark, sweet syrup in her veins. She’d come here to be a submissive, but she hadn’t understood the grammar of it. Scott was writing the sentence of her tonight, one ruthless, claiming stroke at a time.
He pulled into a long driveway, the headlights illuminating a modern, severe house of glass and dark timber. It looked like a fortress. He came around and opened her door, offering no hand. She climbed out, her legs steady now, a strange calm settling over her. The decision was gone. There was only forward.
Inside, the air was cool and smelled of the same sandalwood and clean linen. The entryway was all slate tile and a single piece of abstract art.No family photos. No clutter. It was the home of a man who consumed space, who didn’t share it.
“Shoes,” he said, his voice echoing slightly.
She bent to remove her heels. When she straightened, he was right there. He didn’t kiss her. He grabbed a fistful of the hair at the nape of her neck, not painfully, but with absolute authority, and tilted her head back, exposing her throat.
“This is where you belong now,” he said, his voice low. His eyes scanned her face, looking for resistance. She gave him none. A flicker of approval passed through his gaze. “The contract says forty-eight hours.Your body says forever. We’ll see which one wins.”
He released her hair and took her hand, leading her not to a bedroom, but to a great room with a wall of glass overlooking a black pool. A single leather sofa faced a cold fireplace. It felt like a stage.
“Undress.Slowly. I want to look at what’s mine.”
Her fingers trembled only once, on the zipper at the back of her dress. She let it fall to the floor. She stepped out of it, then hooked her thumbs into the waistband of her soaked silk panties and slid them down. Finally, she reached behind to unclasp her bra, letting it fall. She stood before him in only her stockings and the silver wolf pendant, the cool air pebbling her skin.
He circled her, a predator assessing a prize. His silence was more invasive than any touch. He stopped behind her, his breath on her shoulder. His hands came to her hips, his grip firm.
“You offered your submission. But tonight, I’m taking more.” His lips brushed her ear. “I’m taking your ownership. Every hole.Every sigh. Every thought of anyone else, gone. You’re my slut to breed. You understand?”
The word was a slap. It should have hurt.It did. But it also landed somewhere deep and secret, unlocking a door she’d only peeked through before. A tear escaped, tracking hot down her cheek. She nodded.
“Use your voice.”
“Yes, Daddy.”
He turned her roughly to face him, his mouth crashing down on hers. It wasn’t a kiss of romance, but of consumption. He bit her lower lip, sucked on her tongue, claimed the very air from her lungs. When he broke away, they were both breathing hard.
“On your knees.”
She sank to the polished concrete floor. He unbuckled his belt, the sound loud in the vast quiet of the room. He was already hard. He didn’t guide himself into her mouth. He simply held himself there, at her lips, waiting. The expectation was its own command. She opened her mouth, taking him in, the salt and musk of him filling her senses. He set a relentless, deep rhythm, his hands fisted in her hair, controlling every movement.
“This cunt is mine,” he growled, his voice strained. “This mouth is mine. You are a vessel. For me. For my pack. You exist for this.”
He pulled out abruptly, saliva stringing from her lips. He hauled her up by her arms and bent her over the back of the deep leather sofa, her cheek pressed against the cool hide. He didn’t enter her gently. He sheathed himself in one brutal, claiming thrust. She cried out, the sound swallowed by the room.
There was no tenderness, only a brutal, driving rhythm that felt less like sex and more like a brand being seared into her soul. His fingers dug into the flesh of her hips. His other hand wrapped in her hair, pulling her head back, arching her spine.
“You feel that?” he grunted, pounding into her. “You feel where you belong? This is your purpose now. To be taken. To be used. To be filled.”
She was unmoored, a piece of wreckage in a storm of sensation. Pain and pleasure blurred into a single, white-hot truth. He was rewriting her. The polished mother, the cautious wife, was being stripped away layer by layer with every deep, possessive stroke. All that was left was a raw, screaming need for him to finish it, to mark her so completely she could never go back.
He suddenly stilled, buried deep. He leaned over her, his chest against her back, his mouth at her ear. “This is where I put my child in you,” he whispered, the words a dark, thrilling poison. “Where I make sure everyone knows whose slut you are.”
The convulsion that tore through her was cataclysmic, a wave of shame and ecstasy so intense her vision starred. She screamed, the sound raw and torn from a place she didn’t know she had. As her own body clenched around him, he growled, a feral, triumphant sound, and spent himself inside her with a final, jarring thrust.
He held her there, pinned, for a long moment, both of them gasping. Then he pulled out. She slumped against the sofa, boneless, spent. A hot trickle traced its way down her inner thigh.
He walked away, returning with a soft cloth. He didn’t hand it to her. He knelt and wiped between her legs himself, a gesture so strangely intimate after the violence of his possession that fresh tears welled in her eyes. He lifted the cloth, showing her the evidence of his claim mingled with her own arousal.
“See?” he said softly. “Mine.”
He carried her to his bedroom, a Spartan space dominated by a large platform bed. He didn’t speak. He laid her down and proceeded to spend the rest of the night claiming her in every way a man can claim a woman. He took her again from behind, his fingers tight around her throat, whispering obscene promises of ownership into her ear. He laid her on her back and pushed her legs apart, worshipping her with his mouth until she sobbed, then sliding up her body to plunge into her again, his eyes locked on hers, demanding she watch him take her. He used his fingers, his tongue, his cock, a relentless demonstration of dominion.
Each time he finished, he’d stay inside her, holding her close, his hand splayed on her lower belly. “Taking root,” he’d murmur, before rousing himself again. He was tireless, a force of nature, and she was simply the ground he was determined to conquer and sow.
As a grey, pre-dawn light began to bleed around the edges of the blackout shades, he finally stilled. He lay beside her, propped on an elbow, tracing the lines of her exhausted face. She was sore, used, brimming with him. She felt hollowed out and remade.
He leaned in, his lips brushing her forehead. “When you wake up,” he said, his voice husky with sleep and satisfaction, “the first thing you’ll feel is me, deep inside you. And you’ll know. You’ll finally know what you are.”
He pulled the blanket over them both. Within minutes, his breathing deepened into sleep. Nicole lay awake in the dark, feeling the unfamiliar weight of his arm across her, the alien yet profound ache in her core. The contract was on display in a government office. But here, in this bed, stained with his sweat and his scent and his seed, she knew the real document had been written on her flesh. And there was no agency, no OPCC, that could ever revoke it.
